Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

It doesn't work, cavey, but I will trawl back a couple of pages and find it.

CaveMum · 26/04/2012 09:40

That's the right link! It doesn't show the sechsing but that took place on days: 13, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 34 [tired]

Northey · 26/04/2012 09:50

That's such a PCOS chart! Mucho empathy. Fingers crossed it stays high now. Definitely worth a stick this weekend.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/04/2012 09:51

Just popping in to say: POAS both of you. I see two wins in my crystal ball, and you would see them too if you cared to buy a stick and pee on it. Well done and congrats!

Sorry about the weird dreams sinky. I have them really badly in the 2nd WW, combination of menkulling and progesteron, I reckon. I've heard it before about clomid as well.

Hope you're okay dot. Not liking the chest pain. Am liking the still diffedness.

How's euro? Just one day behind fee, if I am correct... Still temping? If so, can we see your chart too? Mine has no temps, just a trigger shot last Friday Wink.

blonderthanred · 26/04/2012 10:17

Scan was good news. Off for weekend away. Luff to all, look forward to hearing about sticks being peed on.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/04/2012 10:32

Congratulations blondie. Enjoy the weekend!!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 10:37

Hooray blondie, can I for a good scan? Do you feel any more relaxed now?

eurochick · 26/04/2012 10:46

Faify POAbloodyS woman and put us out of our misery!

lemons yes, I'm here, one day behind faith and still temping. My chart is following a typical, so it doesn't indicate anything positive. But if you want to take a look it's here:
www.fertilityfriend.com/home/343af6
I have to POAS tomorrow morning to see if I can stop the steroids, but I am not at all hopeful. So, one more IUI and then on to IVF we go.

Excellent news, blondestuff.

Pretty charts euro and sorry about the unhopeful feeling.

Is it nearly lunch-time? I have meetings all afternoon, so must get on if I want to achieve anything today!

CaveMum · 26/04/2012 11:28

Hurrah for good scans blondey Grin

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 11:43

Hello BESHes. First time I have had to check back in.

Saw lovely nurse today who withdrew half my blood. GP popped in to check out the chest pain. Doesn't think it is anything serious, but added something to the blood tests. It started in the middle of the night and is worse when I breathe deeply.

Also the nurse didn't go on about my weight too much although she did tell me that I would get two extra scans. She offered me a dietician appointment which I might take.

Think I am just feeling a bit off-colour and I am wondering whether the chest pain is due to feeling anxious about today's appointment.

Think I am going to bail out of work this afternoon though and go home and relax.

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 11:44

Oh, and congrats to blondey

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 13:47

Could be a viral cough type chest thing then dor? Glad they have assured you at the docs about things.
Tis too early to POAS and you can't make me
I am clearly feeling better, managed to return the curtains MSB didn't like, buy a few bits of shopping and pop in to see my gym manager (it's a small and I've been there nearly 3 years so they know me well!) and didn't even think about crying. What a difference a day makes! Grin weirdly my gym manager had exactly the same thing, same pains, same confusion over diagnosis! Good news is although she had it 3 times she now hadn't had it since 7 years so there's hope for me yet!

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 17:49

Maybe. I think I am also stressing about whether to have various tests and stuff. Not sure what to do for the best.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 17:59
Northey · 26/04/2012 17:59

What tests, sweetie? Or would you rather not say?

Well done for successful expeditions, faith, though boo for the returning of the curtains.

I think I have got thrush. Ow. Ow ow ow ow ow OW! I am going to have to have a sex break, as that was jus excruciating!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 18:31

Sorry it didn't refresh for me to realise I'd x-posts with your dor. It's understandable that you're anxious at the moment. We're here if you want to think things through.
To clarify norf I bought two choices of curtains for the bedroom and made MSB pick, I only returned the pair he didn't like. You know what it's like sometimes you leave these things for ages/lose the receipt? So I'm glad I got it done :)
Yes if you have the thrush I recommend canestan to treat and also probiotics to help the friendly bacteria improve things from the insides seasoned expert

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 19:18

I have to decide whether we have screening for Down's Syndrome. They do things slightly differently over here.

We get blood tests as routine which gives you a likelihood of whether you could have a Down's baby, and then there is another test called the nuchal translucency test which also gives you the probability, but maybe a better assessment of the odds. Then if you have a high chance you can go on and have amnio. We don't get offered nuchal test free so it would cost £200.

I think we have decided to have basic bloods only. The reality is that we wouldn't have amnio anyway (the risks of miscarriage are higher than the risks of having a Down's baby) so what's the point of having the test done.

Phew! Hope that makes sense.

Sorry to be whinging about this sort of stuff to you guys.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 19:33

dor having had plenty of time to think about it, I think I'd do the same. The bloods give you an indicator but personally I don't think I'll want to take the risk of an amino. Obviously cost comes into it for you too, I assume you have some time to decide for certain?
My sister's friend was told her daughter had a 3/4 chance of having significant LD. She was encouraged to think very carefully about continuing the pregnant. She went ahead as prepared as she could be and had DD. She's actually a genius! Smile
I'm not menkulling at all. Oh no. Not me. Hmm

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 22:42

Is everyone ok?!

Northey · 26/04/2012 23:41

Have been at pub quiz. Winning, in fact (the favourites had an unexpected collapse in the final round so we unexpectedly seized the crown).

My boobs are definitely sore.

Northey · 26/04/2012 23:42

Bah, too much unexpectedness in my previous post. My brain is clearly addled with lime and soda.

KatAndKit · 27/04/2012 06:38

dor I had the bloods and the NT scan as they were offered routinely here. Once I got a low risk result from that I was happy to leave it at that. I personally would have to have had a very high risk result to consider the amnio.
Will you get a scan at 12 weeks anyway if you don't have the NT scan? If not then I would personally pay for the NT scan just to get a look at the baby.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 07:27

Bottled out of POAS this morning. Droid isn't actually due til Tuesday. Temp dropped 0.1 degree on my chart but nowhere near cover line. Will continue to menkul.
Interesting to hear your buzzwams are tender norf Hmm
