EmpireBiscuit · 06/04/2012 13:17

Congratulations more coffee!

All these BFPs made me cave and test - BFN :( not surprising as still 6 days until AF.

RightUpMyRue · 06/04/2012 14:15

Wow wow wow! How many BFPs?!

OK, congratulations to possum, CODwidow and morecoffee Smile Lovely news. Well done all.

I'm CD35 today. No symptoms, no AF and another BFN. Crap Sad

OpenMindedSceptic · 06/04/2012 16:31

So, I bought FR test this morning only to come home and find out that AF had arrived. Bah. Back to square one.
Good luck to everyone still waiting - I do not want to see you (in the nicest possible way) in the May BFP thread!

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 06/04/2012 16:38

Thanks everyone!

Sorry to hear about the AF's that have arrived :(

I'm going to hang around here a bit longer as its early days for me. Picked up another 4 2 more tests today 2 supermarket cheapies and 2 cb digis for the next few days.

Fingers crossed for everyone else!

Cookiesandcream06 · 06/04/2012 19:47

Congratulations more coffee !! Grin fabulous news. There is going to be a lot of Christmas babies !
That's rubbish right hold on in there though it's not over yet.

RIBS · 06/04/2012 21:24

OMG!! Massive congrats to backward, CODwidon and morecoffee more like nomorecoffee for you Mrs!!

Its looking good mytime Sorry about everyone who's out for this month.
Empire ive been testing since about 7 dpo. Did it again this morn -10 dpo BFN. Me and DP are testing (he has no idea im addicted to this POAS malarky, he'd send me off to the funny farm.) on Sunday at 12 DPO and im hoping that il get an early BFP, if not on Tuesday when im actually supposed to do it.

Temp dropped this morn tho after its been high, so im starting to lose hope a bit. I just felt in my bones that it was going to be this month, but I think I may be ridiculously disappointed, after 16 months of tryng and one MMC.
So im having a glass or so of wine tonight as that will ensure that theres a BFP! I mite have a bottle or two actually and ive bought a job lot of tampax so that should ward off the old witch - in a Vampire-esq manner!!

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 07:56

BFN on a clear blue digital today :(

birdofthenorth · 07/04/2012 08:06

Don't panic morecoffee, could be an anomaly. Have you got another test? Hugs.

I am going to test again tomorrow. No real symptoms so not holding out much hope.

CODwidow · 07/04/2012 08:10

More coffee, don't worry just yet. I would test again though and see what happens but you've made me decide another test is in order today!

Cookiesandcream06 · 07/04/2012 08:31

morecoffee might just be a weak wee.. And Cb aren't the most sensitive. When I took mine it took forever to show and I remember it coming up quick last time
As I was really late. It's still early days I guess, i bought a selection of brands just to confirm (the craziness doesn't end at a BFP clearly!)
Don't panic Smile eat chocolate!

RightUpMyRue · 07/04/2012 09:26

morecoffee, what test did you do the 1st time?

By CB digi do you mean the one with words or the one with lines?

The lines ones are notoriously rubbish(giving mis-leading or unclear results) and I think the word ones aren't particularly sensitive, 50mIU/mL maybe?

There's still hope Smile Typical, it had to be a bank holiday weekend, no GP and no blood test till Tuesday at the earliest!

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 09:58

Hi all.well I have had some time to feel sorry for.myself, and I need to carry on I suppose! Thanks for your lovely messages [busmile]

I'm so glad I did the test with Dh and he saw the result otherwise I would think I was going mad! He is very sensible Grin and said that if I wasn't pregnant nothing would have shown up yesterday and we should test again in another couple of days. He is always so positive!

I tested with a first response yesterday. It was a digital with words today.

ribs I settled for a decaff coffee this morning just in case Wink

Arrrrrrgggghhhhhh! Why is getting pregnant sooooooo complicated and confusing??!!

RightUpMyRue · 07/04/2012 10:20

Well there you go morecoffee, first response are 25mIU/mL and CB digi are 50mIU/mL.

Your hCG levels double every 24-48 hours in early pregnancy so your little bean won't show up on a digi until tomorrow at the earliest.

Smile
morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 10:53

Thanks rue

I'm off to get a selection of tests today inc some more first response tests! Im feeling a bit Confused tbh, like am I imagining it or am I sooooooo bloody obsessed with ttc that I'm just convincing myself I got a bfp yesterday?

Anyway, tommorow I am thinking I shall pee in a pot and do 3 different brand tests! [bugrin]

RightUpMyRue · 07/04/2012 11:27

A whole website dedicated to POASing!

American so some branded stuff isn't relevant here but still makes for interesting and obsessive reading.

Very best of luck morecoffee, let us know how you get on. Smile

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 11:45

Just had a quick look at that website. Seems clearblue digital is actually quite accurate............

Will just test again tommorow and see what happens.

jennifer86 · 07/04/2012 17:23

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on this board for several weeks since just introducing myself when last AF had arrived. I'm now 7dpo so thought I'd come and see how everyone was getting on! I had a look at that website, Right, certainly looks interesting, something for me to read this afternoon to take my mind off the wait for the next 7 days. This TWW malarky does drag on, doesn't it... I'm starting to get very impatient already. :)

morecoffee, I hope you're not too stressed out and everything works out the way you hope in the end. It must be really frustrating not knowing which tests to believe. I assume that eventually every brand will agree but I know it must be so difficult not knowing at the moment. Keep us updated. Can I ask, do you know how many days post ovulation you are? If you're past your usual luteal phase length then that has to be a good sign!! If not, then maybe just try to forget about it for a few days until you are, then you should get more conclusive results (thoretically, anyway!)

How is everyone else doing? I will be testing next Saturday, 14th (that is assuming AF hasn't turned up by then and my internet cheapy tests have turned up by then!) Anybody care to join me?

birdofthenorth · 07/04/2012 21:38

I'm testing again in the morning. No real reason to believe it'll be positive but still blindly optimistic!

Wishing you heaps of luck with your multiple testing tomorrow morecoffee. False negatives are much more common than false positives so feeling optimistic for you too.

Anyone else going for an Easter Day poas?!

wunnybunny · 07/04/2012 22:38

im 11 days away from testing i have had stomach cramps for 2 days and im very tired did a test today saw what i think was faintest of faint lines on 10mil test?? but might of imagined it due to not getting enough sleep due to drunks breaking windows and council fixing at 4am
