Anyone hoping for a really positive feb 2006?

ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Oh, and on another note, am on cd 2 but in the last two months my cycles have gone from consistently 28 days to 37!!! This happened before we conceived ds, but I thought at the time it was because I had been taking the pill for so many years. This time, I have not been on any hormones, although I did have to take a lot of medication last month for Bell's Palsy - which included steroids.

anyone else have this happen?

hiya all, well no news on pg's sadly yet but I'm on CD 21. Do have sore boobs, but am refusing to think about them. But am hopeful, if have a 28 day cycle then AF should arrive on valentines day, but have decided won't test till the Friday which is my birthday, well that was the initial decision anyway, but DH pointed out that I maybe wouldn't want a BFN on my birthday?

Just caught up with this. Trace, I really hope you are OK, CAT me is you like.

HAven't posted for a while as have been trying not to think about it too much. THing is, I'm on day 30 and no af (but not unusual, I'm very erratic normally- up to 40 days) but I've got sore boobs, peeing for Britain (sorry a bit crude) and very tired. BUT we only bd on day 9 so I'm sure I'm not pg. I think my mind is getting carried away and giving me symptoms I want to feel. PLus I'm just not lucky enough to get pg straight away.

Feels better getting that out actually. I haven't spoken to dh about it as he is not himself atm, has been ill on and off for a while and it's getting to him.

{BTW, I did a test on Sunday night based on symptoms and was BFN)

hayls, I hope you are. Have you tried testing again cos its 3 whole days since you last tested. Might have been your HCG levels werent high enough to read on a test?

Thanks but I really don't think I am. I just ordered some pg tests from Ebay so I will wait until they arrive then might test again. I am sure it is my hormones and imagination playing tricks on me! With a cycle as long as mine often is there is just no way i would get pg on day 9 (did again on day 14 but got cold feet and used protection). It's just that I normally rant at dh about it (am I, aren't i etc) but don't want to stress him atm so did it on here!

I've actually got some cramps as well so it is more than likely that af is on her way.

With dd I was so clueless I didn't find out until I was 7 weeks so I'm sure I wouldn't know this early anyway

well, I hope your "imagination" is right and you are pg.

Need your advice ladies! Had more pains so this morning did a first response ovulation test which I think was positive. To check (cos it was if this line is daker senario) I did a digital one about 1 hour after the first and it was negative. Wats going on???!

Gemma - Sorry never used tests, the only thing I can think of is it could be to do with the amount of stuff in your p (if its used the same as pg tests)

Im a bit fed up today, think it is starting to sink in about my bfriend being pregnant, she had her scan yesterday, and when i visited her yesterday it was all scan/baby/cots/maternity clothes chat. Which i loved of course, just hope its me joining her sooner rather than later! Oh well, we shall see, whatever will be will be and all that.
