ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

I'm on CD 18 but I dont know how long my cycle is cos of being on the pill.

gemmaseascout · 06/02/2006 10:45

we have got everything ready, room is free, money sorted, trying to get a job closer to home, just cant get pregnant. We have only been ttc for bout three months. Feel like a failure sometimes then feel silly for feeling like this. Have gone from being a very centred lady to getting emotional and crying at the drop of a hat! Cant explain it!

mumswish · 06/02/2006 10:51

Gemma - Everyone gets they're child at some point, whether it is now or a couple of months down the line. I can understand how you're feeling but I've not been trying for very long so I dont know what it feels like to not have it that month.

When its your turn everything will go great. Believe me, and i'm sure it'll be your turn soon.

trace2 · 06/02/2006 11:07

i agree with mumswish

wannaBe1974 · 06/02/2006 12:39

Hiya all hope you all had a good weekend. Trace will keep fingers crossed for your BFP

Mumswish I'd imagine too early to be having simptoms if you only BD on sat, usually takes about 8-10 days to have any simptoms doesn't it? doesn't mean it can't happen though but I think it's easy to read pregnancy into every little twinge when you want a baby so much - I know from personal experience how that is.

Gemma you should try and not feel like a failure. I know it's hard but the more you beat yourself up over it the harder it will become, and the desire to be pregnant can be all-consuming and can literally take over your life. Just remember that stress can actually delay ovulation so by worrying and stressing about not getting pg you could actually be lessening your chances. I know it's easier said than done though.

It took me 13 months to fall PG with my DS, and we've been trying for baby no 2 since last may now, so I do know how it feels to have the negative tests or the AF month after month.

Have got slightly sore boobs since about saturday but not reading anything into that, also feeling sick but that could just be tiredness as DS has been ill and awake in the night and I've been finding it hard to get back to sleep. on CD 20 now.

Me and DH had a talk last night and I think he's kinda had enough of the whole TTC thing. He says he does want us to have another baby but that everything seems to have become about pro creation instead of reckreation if you get my meaning, and we should just do what we want and if we get pg we do and if not then it wasn't meant to be. How am I supposed to deal with that? Guess that means we'll not be officially ttc from next month?

trace2 · 06/02/2006 14:26

lol he watchs while am on here, but have got builders finshing drive way too

wannaBe1974 · 06/02/2006 14:54

So trace when are you going to test again? or maybe use a different brand of test?

OP posts:
mumswish · 06/02/2006 14:59

trace - I'm almost positive you should be pg. Tireness, no AF when you say its never late. I think you've either got defective tests or you're too stressed about something

pussycatmomma · 06/02/2006 15:02

hello everyone
how are you all? im relieved to say ive been able to go to work today, still got bad chest and coughing but dont feel "poorly" like i need to be in bed tucked up anymore.

OP posts:
mumswish · 06/02/2006 15:05

PCM - Glad to hear your ok but sorry about the BFN, Hope youre ok about it.

Not much news here I'm afraid. Not sure about everyone else.

pussycatmomma · 06/02/2006 15:07

hiya mumswish, yes am fine this month actually, lots better than last couple of months when i was practically crawling up the walls about it all. We are still going to try really hard this month and maybe get our bfp in march! i really hope so this time! But if not, we'll just keep on trucking until we do

wannaBe1974 · 06/02/2006 15:08

Lol pussycat I must be psychic as you were posting just as I was enquiring about you.

Glad you're feeling better, sorry about AF though (((hugs)))

OP posts:
mumswish · 06/02/2006 15:08

I hope March is your month! Keep practising tho

pussycatmomma · 06/02/2006 15:13

hiya wannabe, how are you petal?? yes you must be a touch psychic hun, are posts were exactly the same time!!! im disappointed about bfn, id be lieing if i said i wasnt, but hey-ho, it wasnt to be, and it may be our turn sometime soon. I keep telling myself it will happen in Gods time, not My time!!!! im trying v. hard to be patient.
Hows you darlin?

wannaBe1974 · 06/02/2006 15:17

I think some months it's easier than others to accept that it hasn't happened, I know some months I've just said ah well,AF arrived, and others I've been in tears over a BFN, guess it just depends on frame of mind at the time.

Am fine though, on day 20, slight sore boobs and was feeling sick this morning but sickness could just be tiredness. DS not very well - has this horrible cold-like thing that's been going around, he's been coughing at night and then being sick so really tired and keeping me awake.

OP posts:
trace2 · 06/02/2006 15:18

hi pussycat, sorry about af

pussycatmomma · 06/02/2006 15:21

wannabe sounds like your ds got something similar to what ive had, hope he picks up soon, it must be exhausting looking after him.
hiya trace - any af yet hun? did you have a nice weekend?
