ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

Wuzzle what day are you on now? I'm on day 16 and Af due on 14th of feb but have decided that I won't test till the 17th if AF doesn't show. the 17th is my birthday so a bfp would make a lovely birthday present.

Well, you have only got to wait a week!

I knew I was pregnant way before I did a test when I just couldn't bring myself to get on a 'scary' ride at the pleasure beach (I love 'scary' rides!!) And my favourite dinner at the time which were minted lamb kebabs on the BBQ, made me feel sick! So try having your favourite dinner tonight, and then do something that you would normally do that isn't allowed in pregnancy and see if you get any wierd feelings!!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:02

lol lol no worries. im due on feb 16th ish i think...depends on how random af wants to be this month

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:03

lol, thats a good idea natalie...eeerm like what tho? lol

lucy5 · 02/02/2006 15:07

when i was preggers with dd i knew before I tested, now im wondering if im talking myself into it as I know the symptoms.

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 15:09

How about erm.... eating prawns??? (...they're not allowed if PG) I can't think of anything else!!

wannaBe1974 · 02/02/2006 15:09

When I was pregnant with DS I went off chocolate for the first three months, I remember it well because I'd begged and begged my DH to buy me this massive easter egg, he bought it, and I just couldn't face it! also before I got PG we used to eat a lot of salmon, I went off it totally when pg with DS and haven't eaten it since.

lol, i'll have to bear some of these suggestions in mind me thinks. think i'll try and wait at least anpother week though before i start letting myself get unbearably worked up about the possibility lol.

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 15:14

Hi again Lucy

I didn't know as such, I had no symptoms just the feeling that I really shouldn't get on the ride, and feeling (not being) sick at even the thought of minted lamb kebabs (that has only just gone, we had our first lamb joint in November last year, but I couldn't bring myself to pick up the mint sauce, I can now think about mint sauce with feeling iffy now though!!!) We had visitors that weekend we had been to the beach (hence the pleasure beach) and then come home for a BBQ, I had to wait till they left which was the next day before I could test, but I knew it would be a BFP!

wannaBe1974 · 02/02/2006 15:15

Oooh all the things you can't eat ... my absolute favourite dessert is tirramisu and I make a mean tiramissu but I wasn't allowed to have it because it has raw eggs in it. was devostated!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:15

well heres hoping for all of us!!!!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:16

ahh no! are there many things that your not alowed to eat?

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 15:18

I had a very easy pregnancy with DS no morning sickness, no piles/constipation, no kidney probs, had a load of stretch marks and not being able to stand up and pull my knickers up (LOL) but I can't wait to see if this pregnancy is going to be the same or totally different! But most of all (except actually giving birth again) I am most looking forward to having a huge bump again! Some people really moan on about how big they got and how fed up they got of strangers coming up and touching their bellies and everything but I loved it all!!

mumswish · 02/02/2006 15:20

I'm not looking forward to not being able to eat tuna & cucumber butties but I'm looking forward to everything else. It'll be great!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:20

nat, i suppose that the huge bump just makes it all the more real, iykwim

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 15:22

Was trying to think along with the prawns.... I can't spell the word but maranges (I know that isn't it!) also have egg in, I think it is the egg white you have to be careful with. Obviously it isn't just prawns all shell fish are off the menu, mussels etc. I can't think of anything else now - I see I have a bit of brushing up to do!!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 15:25

im sure that when my time comes i'll be more than happy to make the sacrifice (gawd, how dramatic does that sound?? lol)
