ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

morning mumswish, you sound bright and cheery!
im at home again today, still not well with terrible headache and symptoms like flu. Just thought id see if anyone was around.
Wannabe - thanks for taking time to comment on situation, you said lots of sensible things honey, i do appreciate it. My email is [email protected] if you ever want to mail me, that goes for anyone else too!
im on day 23 but no sign of af yet. i was 24 days last month so could be happening any time now.
My sister is due to go to clinic tomorrow to do the long awaited test, but she wont find out until thursday, however she did has bought some clearblue and might test earlier. There is such alot riding on this that she doesnt want to risk testing too soon. if any of you are that way inclined, say a little prayer for her, and lets hope she gets a BFP!!
Hi to anyone ive missed
(((((((((((hugs))))))))))))pusscat x xx

mumswish · 31/01/2006 09:15

I hope you and your sister get your BFP Pussycat,

I'm abit cheery today, have decided that enough is enough with this house and am in the middle of writing a letter to the solicitor saying that if the seller doesnt shift his arse and get it fixed and move out we're pulling out.

Calling his bluff really, hope he doesnt call ours. lol

gemmaseascout · 31/01/2006 09:15

good morning everyone.
I am still on the angnus cactus and still hoping and a praying for something to happen in there!

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 09:28

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a good w/e?

Why is it that no matter how much I tell myself that I shouldn't get my hopes up this month, I still spend half my time thinking well it could happen, it isn't that unheard of for people to get lucky on the first month???!!

Actually, can someone tell me when I start counting from please? I finished taking my last pill on the 20th Jan, so would have started a new packet of pills on the 27th, so does that mean I stopped taking the pill on the 20th or the 27th IYSWIM?

Thanks

mumswish · 31/01/2006 09:47

its not unheard of to get pg on first try but more likely to take a couple of months.

In regards to your pill you should count from the first day of your AF as your CD1

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 09:56

Thanks Mumswish

It took 6 months of TTC with DS, but the chance is always there each month, LOL I suppose I should start being realistic and thinking a few more months ahead!

mumswish · 31/01/2006 10:16

aparently when you first come off your pill you're more likely to catch than someone who has been off the pill for 6 months so you never know.

Did you come off the pill before DS?

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 10:23

No I was on Depo before DS. Have been on the pill for nearly 4 years though so I think it might be a while before my body gets back to normal! Had some lovely spots come up over the weekend, but they have one now, and also a very slight pain, felt like period pains but again they have gone.

mumswish · 31/01/2006 10:30

I've got loads of spots now aswel!! lol, I thought it was just me not washing enough or something but it could be to do with pill i spose, didnt think of that!!

I've got a really good sex drive now 2, want it all the time, but cos we're moving and DP is allergic to condoms we cant have sex so its driving me up the wall!!

lol

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 10:36

I am very glad the spots have gone, I know it sounds really stupid but I had awful skin as a teenager but now it is lovely, it was only three or four spots but they seemed huge and were really sore (don't know how I coped when I had them as a kid!!) DH kept saying they weren't that bad (as they do!!) but I felt very concious of them.

I have been sneaking a look at some baby stores today, I won't buy anything until I am at least half way the pregnancy but I can't help myself looking already!!!

mumswish · 31/01/2006 10:57

oh dont worry, i look all the time. We're going to be getting a dog when we've moved but I cant help looking at all the websites (rescue websites) and choosing which one I want, although cant get it for AGES

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 11:04

We have a puppy, a lot of work, but well worth it.

I keep looking at things in shops or online and thinking yep that is what we will buy, and then thinking by the time I get PG it could be next seasons stock!! I have even found myself getting very excited about shopping for maternity clothes, even four years ago when I was shopping for them they were awful but now they look quite nice! I want one of those cheesy tee's that has 'made in the U.K.' or 'it started with a kiss' or whatever written on it!!!

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:05

DP laughs at me when I start talking about where we gonna put the cot in our room etc, then the deocrating in babys room I keep getting "you're not even pg yet" lol. Was telling him when I give birth he has to be there and got the same response.

I'm looking forward to getting a dog, it'll be like my baby but sooner! lol

wuzzlefraggle · 31/01/2006 11:06

morning all!
how are we all today?

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:12

hi Wuzzle!!

have fun last night?

wuzzlefraggle · 31/01/2006 11:13

hello mumswish!
ahem, yes i did thankies lol
starting to get those "is this my month" feelings now, driving me a little bit crazy to be honest

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:18

you know what I think this TTC lark is gonna drive me nuts. We've only BD'd once this month so not gonna be pg but cant wait to test in case I am. lol

I hope you are wuzzle but if you are you cant go away completely, there normally no-one else on line when i am but you! lol

wuzzlefraggle · 31/01/2006 11:21

thanks mumswish, and i wont go away, teehee.
yeah, ttc does have that effect on most lol, bloddy hell, ttc was driving me mad the minute that we decided to start!
as soon as i get past cd14 i start getting the worst tho.

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 11:24

Hi Wuzzle

Do you all test every month? Even before AF is due?

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:26

I'm not testing before AF is due simply because we're not really trying this month so only bd once. Although I can see that as soon as we try properly I'm gonna have the tests out every day around CD 20's lol.

wuzzle - Well if you get worse, just come complain here! lol

wuzzlefraggle · 31/01/2006 11:28

hi Natalie!
i tend to only test after im a week late or so (all depending on my restraint that particular month lol)
mumswish, i intend to completely
i really should buy some of those ovulation sticks

NatalieJane · 31/01/2006 11:32

LOL I wanted to do that last time DH said I would cost him a fortune! Should I be getting down to the chemist then in preparation! Must admit though, for the times I did take a test last time we were TTC and they came out negative, it does give you a knock. Also I knew I was pregnant last time way before I took the test, wonder if that will happen again?

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:32

why do you want ovulation sticks wuzzle?

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:33

why do you want ovulation sticks wuzzle?

mumswish · 31/01/2006 11:34

Oops!
