mls ouch ouch! I remember a friend saying that the afterpains were worse than labour after her DD2. And you are on no 3 so I can't imagine what it feels like. Hope they ease off soon.

Lurgy here, Oscar has vomiting/diarrhoea and off food. Dr thought it was tonsillitis yesterday so we have 10 days of antibiotics. Temperature seems to have improved this morning but he's not eaten a thing since Weds lunchtime and we are getting through a lot of washing. Washing machine has just gone on the blink which is fabulous timing. I've got a mild dose (hopefully). Bloody annoying as the weather is so nice.

Well I've just got back from Glasgow having dropped dh off. He's walking the west highland way for the teenage cancer trust. Won't see him til Wednesday and ajay is already asking to see daddy now. But I've got you girls for company

vjay it's working sort of but it keeps getting stuck and we end up with sopping wet washing. Everytime oscar poos we have more washing cos its not staying in his nappy. At least it's sunny. Washing machine man is coming tomorrow do hopefully it will be fixed. I meant to ask - where is trail magazine in the newsagents? Looked in a large whsmith yesterday but couldn't see it. Is it with the cycling mags or elsewhere?

Look in the sporty sections I think, it's a walking magazine

mls hear you on the afterpains.. ouchy! Mine only lasted about 3 days though thankfully. Never felt them with ds1..bit of a kick in the teeth after just going through labour aren't they!

louey hope the lurgy clears soon, not nice when the weather is so glorious. And hope washing machine gets fixed!

Summer had the most fantastically sunny funny and very happy birthday! Was so so sweet watching her running round our garden playing with all her little friends and cousins, the trampoline and slide took a pounding she had an absolute ball, and was spoilt rotten too! Us adults had a great time too! Dh and I do love to throw a good party if i say so myself!

Shattered last night and spent today chilling in the sun and snoozing, glad to not be manically packing! Told everyone our news yesterday, all family and close friends, and they know the history so no point in waiting, the more prayers and positivity the better... Still not quite sunk in, did a 2nd test today just so I could watch the line develop in front of me!

Ahhhhh here comes my gorgeous 2yr old girl, all grubby and grinning Love her soooooo much, off to have a nice soak in the bath with her... bliss

Loving the photo's of our little boys ladies - soo lovely. Almost enough to make me broody - but then I look at BB and remember never again . However will never stop me loving ickle tiny babies - so lovely and snuggly. And of course hard work....

4ever what a great day for you and Summer. We had a little family do for BB today - well my brother and family came round for a barbie and cake. It's also my eldest nieces 13th birthday next week and so good opportunity to celebrate both. Kids spent the afternoon racing round with the waterpistols - lots and lots of fun

moon 14 days - wow . How exciting - when are we having your virtual hen do? I do remember Mrs Kates - which was a lot of fun. And most of us will be able to drink too!!

vjay notice you also got the free nappies and wipes! Loving anything free here too.

My poor darling girl just got stung by a wap on her thumb.. Dh got the sting out, tried cold compress and calpol, any suggestions or tips?

Actually we have... She screamed and screamed intermittently for the first 30mins or so but now seems to have calmed down a bit thanks to the wonderful distraction of c beebies & fingers xd no swelling yet, but she's still cuddled in my arms and very sorry for herself... Choc buttons seemed to help too...

Do you think still give piriton even though done calpol and no swelling yet? Maybe before bed?

I'm sure she would be swelling by now if she was to have a reaction, I swell straight away. The pain is intense for the first half hour then it subsides, so she's over the worst now. I'm no expert though, only an expert on what happens to me.
Give her a big cuddle from me, brave wee thing xx
