I am delighted to say that it was a bfn this morning at the GPs (now that's something that doesn't get heard often on the ttc threads). Couldn't believe it and, in fact, still don't fully. But part of me must do because I feel like a weight has been taken off my shoulders.

That then makes me somewhere around CD1 or something. Hoo-bloody-ray. Here we go!

Charlee - I definitely second what everyone else says here about any sort of line being a bfp. If it takes 36 hours for the hormone to double then you didn't leave it long enough probably between the first and the second tests - in just a bit more time there will be no doubt whatsoever. It's fabulous news - how long were you trying?

Oinker - what did they think was wrong with you when you had raised temperatures? I haven't had any problems conceiving in the past but you have me worried now that I am all messed up.

rubles - i'm glad it's all sorted now for you. it's strange i wanted a bfn so much after i had my mc to make sure everything had cleaned out but when it happened i was a little sad at the same time. good luck with the ttc again.

g4p - i wish ch would come back but like you said if she's moved on she's moved on. it's good for her if she has but it does feel sad that she's now left. i hope she does pop in occasionally to chat to us and let us know how her life is going with college and everything.

Don't want to bring this thread down, but I couldn't resist - I tested today CD 26 got BFN. Feel really p**d off. Had a good cry, guess I just have to go on. Feel like it will never happen.

Piffle have you tested yet or are you being stronger than me - GOOD LUCK!!

you still might have tested too early, don't be upset. there's many people on here that have tested too early and got a bfn and went on to get a bfp. good luck, remember until af arrives a bfn isn't always a bfn.

I know - cheered up a bit now - off to my BF's DD's 3rd b'day party with my DS - should be too busy to think about TTC for a few hours at least - thanks for your message though

i think g4p is due to test as well. not sure about anyone else i do tend to get very forgetful when it comes to things like that, sorry. good luck everyone who is about to test.

Rubles re: body temperature...Docs reckon I should try and keep it below 38 (not having any problems doing that) as any higher could be reason for m/c's (I've had 5 since Sept'04) TBH I don't think they know what they are talking about. It's just a guessing game for them. I have had to stay away from the Gym, saunas, jacuzzis steam rooms and swimming pool because of their hunch!!! Well, to hell with it I am fed up with slobbing around and just waiting. I am going to get on with my life and see how things go. I will carry on with the progesterone from CD18 to CD28 and have my blood tests on day 23. I have a funny feeling I will get fobbed off and will not be given a satisfactory answer.
