Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Thanks DH21. I feel gutted now Sad Sad I had wanted to get pregnant asap after DS turned 8 months but had an ectopic in November. I've given myself until I turn 42 (in October) to conceive but it feels like time is slipping away...

I think most of the advice is to dtd all the way through the month for best bet. Frankly I don't have the energy ha ha! The ovulation tests are good and I got pregnant straight away after using them for the first time last time. It may be more difficult now because I'm one tube down this time around.

wifey6 · 24/01/2012 11:41

South....I agree with DH21....do not give up hope.
I hate this 2ww!! My cycle has been muddled so have had a confusing time with OV etc. AF is due 3rd Feb(ish)....
I've had niggly pains for 3 weeks now..started the week I thought I was OV..all through the following week & I still have them Hmm. Symptom spotting is awful!

ImpatientOne · 24/01/2012 12:51

Enjoying having a few of us now to get through this horrible time - Hmm I mean that in a nice way not that I enjoy seeing other people suffering iyswim!

Re frequency of dtd the consultant that I saw in December said 2-3 times per week, so obviously I've decided to completely ignore her!!

My symptom spotting took a new turn this morning, 2 magpies flew into our garden - now that MUST be a good sign Grin am ignoring the single one that just landed on neighbours roof

bettybat · 24/01/2012 13:02

Hahaha yay magpies! They're so funny and beaky, that would cheer me up regardless of their numbers Grin

I 'spose three times a week through a continuous seven day period would kind of make it every other day anyway, right?

Monday - DTD
Tuesday - not
Wednesday - DTD
Thursday - not
Friday - DTD
Saturday - not
Sunday - start of the next week?

Hahaha, kind of anyway!

Can I join you ladies? We're on about month two of ttc number two - can't tell anyone we're ttc as we're also waiting to adopt (long story - waiting list got much much longer, are staying on the list but don't want gap between kids to be too long) so obviously can't tell anyone we're trying until it (hopefully) actually happens.
I think AF is due on Sunday 5th but I was on holiday earlier in the month and didn't have my thermometre so haven't been temping so who knows if/when i ovulated which is driving me slightly crazy!
keeping fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting!

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 14:31

It was at this stage I got preg with ds I.e came off the pill had one AF then got preg so I feel it should be the same this time too!

We haven't dtd since sat night so will have to jump dh tonight! Although I've been feeling alot of pressure and quite crampy today not sure if that's good or bad?

When I was preg with ds I didn't think I'd obsess at all with the 2nd because I already had him but im JUST as obsessed!

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 14:40

wifey just realised you're on the July thread too! God how dense am I? Maybe it's baby brain from being preg

wifey6 · 24/01/2012 14:52

DH21.....yeah I thought that as I just read your post Smile
Small MN world!
I can't shift these pains...although haven't actually been taking anything for them. Sad

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 14:59

I get them too, they've eased off a bit for now. Prob better not to take anything just in case.

wifey6 · 24/01/2012 15:15

Had them for 3 weeks Sad
Thought OV pain but has carried on...
I have long cycles of 36 days Sad

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 16:14

That is quite long isn't it? :( maybe that's why you get the pain as everything takes longer, I dont know though I'm no expert!

wifey6 · 24/01/2012 16:15

I've never had it for this long...usually a week & then it's gone. Got a lot of OV symptom around the 11th & 12th & the pain have just carried on...& my stomach is heavy & bloated. Sad
I didn't have this with our DS as we fell very quickly with him.

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 16:17

Maybe it's a good sign then? Might mean you're preg Grin when's your AF due?

Where has everyone else gone we seem to have killed the thread!

wifey6 · 24/01/2012 16:21

Grin I think we have! Blush
AF not due til 2nd or 3rd Feb...so a little while yet.
I never obsessed about it with my DS...but I had health issues after his birth so this is a big deal for us. Smile

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 16:28

Yeah I can imagine, well I'll put my updates on here, it'll mostly be me symptom spotting and obsessing, hopefully only a week left to wait but feels like ages!

Keep us updated with you it's nice to have other people going through the same thing.

misslaughalot · 24/01/2012 16:38

Hi, I'll nervously step in here, just at the start of my tww!

This is our first cycle of ttc our first after a mc in Nov, don't think it'll happen this month to be honest, but you never know.

Will try and catch up with the thread, but mustn't start obsessing with MN...

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 16:40

Hi misslaughalot it's hard not to obsess though! I've even downloaded the babycenter preg app!

Good luck this month :)

ImpatientOne · 24/01/2012 17:09

Am with you on the obssessing DH21 and MissLaL!!! Not only am I addicted to MN damn the next 2 days when I have to go into the office, I think I have been on every crazy (usually US) website looking up symptom spotting and have 2 Apps that are tracking my cycle plus on online one that I record pretty much every bodily function on to see if it's a sign!

twolittlemonkeys · 24/01/2012 18:40

Can I join in please? Also on the 2ww, currently on CD20. Using Clomid, probably my 9th or 10th cycle in my lifetime but first time on 150mg, fingers crossed. Have had no follicle tracking to help me :(

I am going completely crazy, knowing that I have this month then 2 more cycles of Clomid then that is the end. I have 2 DC already, so quite rightly can't get any further help on the NHS and am highly unlikely to conceive naturally. Of course it's possible that my body no longer responds to Clomid (DS1 conceived on 50mg, also had a BFP then MC on 50mg) then did one cycle of 100mg which worked for one cycle, then no longer made me OV...

Right now I feel quite ok about giving up ttc when the Clomid runs out or if 150mg doesn't work, but I know if and when that happens I will be devastated.

Fingers crossed that lots of us will succeed this month

DesperateHousewife21 · 24/01/2012 19:56

twolittlemonkeys welcome to the thread. When is your AF due? Fingers crossed for you this month :)

I FEEL preg I just know I am and yet still have a week to test. It's as if I'm getting implantation cramps/ pressure. Dh and I just dtd and he couldn't go too deep because it felt uncomfy, theres def something going on!

ImpatientOne · 24/01/2012 20:06

Hello twolittlemonkeys

I will not pretend to understand many of the technical things in your post but will join you in the finger crossing and general anxiety of the TWW :)

I am at the stage now where I worry that if the strange things my body is doing are not due to being pg then there must be something very wrong with me, although I don't feel as bad as I did last month! about to go and wee for 57th time today

ImpatientOne · 24/01/2012 20:08

oooooooo DH21 sounds promising

slightly concerned how recently you DTD before posting

twolittlemonkeys · 24/01/2012 22:07

Sounds very promising DH21! I know what you mean about thinking that the signs are there and if not pregnant then there must be something wrong. In the years I've spent ttc I have obsessed over every twinge and cramp, every cycle, even when I try to take my mind off it! Must. Act. Normal.

If the Clomid has worked (ie made me ov at a normal-ish time) then AF would be due on 2nd Feb but will try to hold out til the 4th or 5th before I POAS.

cakesareyummy · 24/01/2012 22:52

Can I join please?! I've been lurking... I'm dpo 5. Ttc %232 cycle 2. AF due 31/1. Not overly optimistic this month as only had swi night before pos opk then nothing...

Symptom spotting anyway... Crampy pains last few days and slight nausea but had that last month and nothing!! Am sure I never had that before ttc tho!

Good luck to everyone else! I did about 4 preg tests last month. I will be less wasteful this month... No tests til Sunday earliest (that's the theory!!) When are you all testing? And congrats to those with bfp's.

DesperateHousewife21 · 25/01/2012 07:08

impatientone lol yes it was literally 10 mins after when I was making a cuppa tea! Its purely for baby making purposes atm!

cakes AF due on the same day as mine! I was going to wait til maybe 1 or 2 days after just in case it's not a 28 day cycle but don't know if I've got the patience!
