Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Greetings all you tousle-haired ttc who have enjoyed a lazy sunday morning swi!!! Grin

Just thought I'd pop in and see how everyone is doing.

LauraM20 hope your AF has not arrived yet and you're feeling a bit better.

Misslaughalot poas for Valentines day! Genius. Grin

Wifey6 glad to hear you have a normally behaving body back in time for your birthday - hope you have a lovely time and get some nice pressies.

TartyMcFarty - DH not interested! :( That doesn't sound fun, not interested tonight in your pole dance seduction special or not interested in making a baby fullstop? Has he said anything? Tell us more. Thanks

Beeblebear - love your announcement! Grin Wish mine had been like that. At risk of boring anyone and making a long post...

I had a drink before I went to bed as planning on testing in morning, however, DS woke us up crying in the night at 2am cos he'd p'd his pyjamas it took two of us to sort it out (one change and the other fetch soothing bottle). Course I then needed a wee and worried if I did the wee when I got up 4 hours later wouldn't have strong enough hcg so did my poas then.
Got back in bed and told DH who gave deep huffy sigh and said 'can I get excited in the morning' in a shirty way! Then rolled over! I was very narked as I didn't expect cartwheels at that time of night but going back to sleep with a cuddle might have been nice! So we had cross words. Oh well, it's rare we get annoyed and we were both knackered. All sorted now and he's delighted and looking up names already but it certainly took the sheen off the moment and the reveal :(

Congratulations to snowbeetle, beeblebear and twolittlemonkeys!

Now just starting my 2WW, but only the first month of TTC....

Snowbeetle · 12/02/2012 10:19

OOoooo exciting times FlysinDreams - love the moniker btw. Grin

Good luck-a-mundo.

bettybat · 12/02/2012 10:44

Can I ask a really stupid question?

Can you have AF without having ovulated or does the presence of AF mean you have?

Snowbeetle, hahahahaha, that's so funny...sorry but yay!

Snowbeetle · 12/02/2012 10:54

I'm glad to amuse Bettybat Grin

I am pretty sure you can have AF without ovulating as the trigger for af is the lack of presence of embedded embyro emitting its hormones to prevent shedding of uterus lining. So you would have that lack with or without an egg having been and gone.

DesperateHousewife21 · 12/02/2012 11:10

Yeah pretty sure you can have AF without OV, alot of contraceptives stop you OV but you still have AFs.

bettybat · 12/02/2012 11:26

Oh. Having a bad day today, wondering its ever going to happen, worried I don't ovulate, worrying about everything. Meh!

Snowbeetle · 12/02/2012 11:28

Poor you Bettybat - I am sure you will get there one way or another. Hold on tight. Can you get tested to see if you do ov to set your mind at rest. Thanks Brew

bettybat · 12/02/2012 11:45

Thanks love :)

I used some ov sticks this cycle and definitely had a positive. I'm just being stupid and negative, is all. Getting cramps, AF due between Tuesday and Thursday this week coming but I don't want to do an early test. But also just want to be put out my misery.

Thanks though, shall give myself a pep talk sharpish :)

Snowbeetle · 12/02/2012 12:11

Ahhh easier said than done though. :)

Can you do something wild and different to distract in meantime? x

wifey6 · 12/02/2012 13:38

Thank you snowbeetle....having a few days of birthday celebrations so really looking forward to it.
No drinking for me though- just in case. Smile

bettybat · 13/02/2012 09:24

I really don't want to get my hopes up, and I'm well aware of how things can unstick....

But this morning I decided to put myself out of my misery and POAS. It's between 2 and 4 days before AF is due, and it was the second wee of the morning but...

On four different tests, I got four faintish lines. I say faintish because they were visible enough to show up on a camera phone picture.

Dare I hope?

bettergetamoveon · 13/02/2012 09:51

Can I join the horrible wait too please? Bettybat you got lines, that is definately good news. I think you should be getting excited! Congratualtions Smile congratulations to the other BFP's too.

I'm now officially into my 2ww, and this is my first month of trying. Not feeling very optimistic. It took us 9 months to conceive my DS, so that, along with being 4 years older now, doesn't bode well for a quick pregnancy. One little ray of sunshine is I used OPK and looks like I did ovulate, although a few days later than the usual day 14, meaning i have a short LP.

I'm already going crazy thinking about this all the time...at least I have others to go a little bit mad with.

bettybat · 13/02/2012 09:52

I did a digital and it said Pregnant. WOW. Is it not too early???

I don't feel confident to believe it....

ImpatientOne · 13/02/2012 10:01

Wow betty Grin Grin Grin

That's great news!!

is that 5 positive tests then????

Grin
bettybat · 13/02/2012 10:02

Hi ImpatientOne yus it is, and I know I'm being lame but I just don't want to tempt fate or for anything to go wrong...

I should stop being a negative Nancy shouldn't I!!

bettergetamoveon · 13/02/2012 10:04

With my DS, I got faint positives 4 days before I was due AF. If it says you are, you are. As I said earlier, conratulations!

ImpatientOne · 13/02/2012 10:09

:) well......

False positive are ultra rare but I know you don't want to count your chickens Hmm in the early days, just relax now and take it easy!

BUT it is positive and like better has proved it doesn't matter that it's early it's positive!

ellesabe · 13/02/2012 10:53

BETTY! that's brilliant!!!!! Woop woop!!

bgamo welcome to the club! Hope that ttc is a quick process for you this time - I don't think it will necessarily take a while just because dc1 did. positive vibes!

Welcome to flys too :)

I wonder how milk is getting on? Can anyone remember when her scan is?

And hello to everyone else! It's gone a bit quiet on here lately - Is that because everyone's busy getting jiggy with it? Grin

lauraloo09 · 13/02/2012 10:55

Morning all hope I can join in on the thread.

DH and I have been TTC #2 for a long while now but as my body is strange and I dont really have periods (not had a 'real' one since march last yr) it has been hard to track, I was tested for PCOS but I dont have that and my thyroid is supposidly working normally. The consultant I have been seeing gave me Norithsterone to start a period so I could start clomid. I started Clomid in January and I had my CD21 blood test last week and still waiting on the results.

Since last Tuesday I have had a sore breast (left one) but the right one seems ok. The pain is more tingling around the nipple and on the outside of the breast. I have also been experiencing cramping, headaches, tiredness and my face has broken out in a rash/spots. The past 3 nights I have had the most vivid dreams, twice in one night I dreamt I had BFP on a test but it felt so real. I have taken 2 tests so far but they have been negative although on one I could swear I saw the faintest of faint lines, but that could have been an evap line. This morning I feel so heavy and bloated in my lower abdomen and feel like there is a 'buzzing' feeling in my tummy. I was wondering if any of you ladies have experienced symptoms like this in your 2ww? I am so trying not to get my hopes up as I dont want to be too disappointed.

Sorry for the long post xx

DesperateHousewife21 · 13/02/2012 11:25

Congrats betty that's great news!!

I'm on cd6 so still have a loooooong way to go!

Rudawakening · 13/02/2012 11:44

Hi

Can I join? This is our first month of TTC No1 and ive just started my tww. I'm CD16 not sure when I ov'd as trying not to get too obsessed with it all I just hate waiting and want to know either way now.

Congrats to everyone who has a bfp I hope we are all joining you soon!

Countmyblessings · 13/02/2012 12:50

Congrats B.Bat - soooooooooooooooooo xcited for u!
Laura - I hope your dreams comes true!!!!

I'm out gutted yesterday it arrived early as thought I was on a 33 day cycle??? So fed up now- think I am going to step back from this all as its driving me mad!!!!!!!
Good luck to you all- hope your dreams all come real and all who have got positives - enjoy and don't stress!

bettybat · 13/02/2012 13:12

Thank you all :)

I think I must be in shock a little bit - I'm not bouncing off the walls like I envisioned. God, I sound so ungrateful Blush

I don't mean to - it just doesn't seem real, and I'm scared it will unstick. I think it's also a bit unreal right now.

DesperateHousewife21 · 13/02/2012 13:56

I'm not surprised, esp as you tested early. All the BFNs really get you down and you think I'll never be preg, so when you do get the BFP it's like wow it actually happened!

I'm guessing this early in my cycle it doesn't really matter when we dtd so I might wait til tomorrow, V day and everything Wink
