Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Snow beetle- hope it's not the actually snow keeping you from buying some tests!!!!
I really am sorry confusedthat your not feeling well! Get well soon so u can give this month a good try!!!
I'm offically in the 2ww and my gosh too early for symptom spotting right!
Yesterday feeling sick and peeing like a nutter even dh noticed so silly!
Today I'm fine was beginning to think I had a bladder infection or something!!!
Hope we get a flood gate of BFP!!!!!

Beeblebear · 05/02/2012 22:30

Ifrustrated. How is your dh doing post chemo?,

That would be such a difficult decision to make. My dh and I have discussed thad possibility and agree we would likely do the same.

Has anyone else had that conversation with their dh b4 ttc?

ellesabe · 06/02/2012 08:20

Sorry beetlebear, what conversation? About medical termination?

Well I had another bfn this morning and I've decided to stop testing now. I think af must just be v late as surely I would have got a bfp by now if I was pg?

I'm thinking that I should maybe try OPK but not sure how it works or even what it stands for Blush...can anyone shed some light for me?

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/02/2012 08:41

Ovulation predictor kit. That's as much as I know about it Grin

beeble yes dh and I have had that convo, I don't think we could carry on with a preg but it would be such a hard thing to go through but we just don't think it's a nice life for the child and we've got our ds to think about too and he would be sidelined out and that wouldn't be fair either.

I didn't test today but can guess it will have been bfn. I'm wondering if my cycle started late because that period I had at beginning of jan could have been a withdrawal bleed from stopping the pill. Last week I had excessive CM and slight crampy pains which could have been OV. I can't remember how much we dtd around that time I just hope it was enough if I was OV.
So I'm basically going to give it another week or so and test then if no AF.

misslaughalot · 06/02/2012 08:44

Congratulations on your BFP ifrustrated, that's fantastic!

BFN for me this morning, cd29. As it's only my second cycle post ERPC I don't really know when to expect AF. We've been babysitting our 10 month old nephew all weekend, and I was hoping some of the baby vibes might have rubbed off, but all it seems like I got was an amazingly good night's sleep last night after we handed him back to mum and dad!

Any news snowbeetle?

ifrustrated · 06/02/2012 09:04

Dh doing great thanks

We had never talked about it before we were put in that position. I guess I thought it would never happen to me

Snowbeetle · 06/02/2012 09:22

Ifrustrated what a tough decision it must have been - who can really know how they would react in that situation. I know people who say they would continue but until you're facing it for real it is a moot point. I think you are very brave. So pleased you have got another chance. :)

Confusedmumdotcom how frustrating it must be to be out for another whole cycle for (sort of) no good reason. Still all the waiting will mean you'll be at it like rabbits next month though won't it!!? Grin

So Little Miss Clockwork Cycle Snowbeetle is now officially a day late. No AF. This has happened before but once only. So I dropped ds at nursery extra early (he didn't mind) and hightailed it to the pharmacist, had a lovely chat with the lady at the till as it was quiet and she wished me luck and it made me feel like this time it was meant to be.
Got home, POAS, but BFN. :(

However I am only one day overdue and it was my 3rd P of the day so I am of course talking myself into the idea that the hormone levels were just too low in the sample.....end result... still on pins!

Anyone else testing today?

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/02/2012 09:49

Sorry you got a bfn, are you going to test again tomorrow?

Snowbeetle · 06/02/2012 10:01

I might try to force myself to wait a bit longer as my last false alarm had AF arrive 2 days late.
So if I wait that long and AF still not there it's a good chance I would hope. Hate the disappointment after the longest 3 mins of your life! Things are stressful at the moment so I should be able to conjure up enough gloom to convince myself I am so not preggers and that will help me wait a bit longer.
Get irritated with myself having the willpower of a limp lettuce and spending money on tests!! haha. :)

Snowbeetle · 06/02/2012 10:03

Speaking of stress, I have stacks to do so I'd better get of mn! Grin
see you all later. :)

Snowbeetle · 06/02/2012 10:03

of - off

Snowbeetle · 06/02/2012 11:52

Quick work break. Come to confess obsessive idiocy! Grin

Despite the fact that I haven't got things anywhere near as bad as some people ttc I am still a bundle of nerves! What a wally! No AF yet. No symptoms of anything, AF or pregnancy. I can hardly think for the amount of wondering I am doing. In other areas of my life I am really quite sane you know and have even been described as capable before now. Gaarrrgghhh!

Can I just say to all the ladies who have had way more difficulties than I, that I think you are utterly amazing for sustaining yourselves through the long journey, as I am in bits just as far in as I am and don't know how you do it.

Please will you all accept these Thanks and hope someone buys you some in RL soon. :)

kalidasa · 06/02/2012 12:06

Hello all. I'm now 4 DPO but this is immediately after a v. early miscarriage so who knows if there's any chance this month.

I had symptoms very early last time and I feel the same again but obviously there's a high chance it's 100% psychosomatic this time round!

Must try and do some work and stop obsessing now. I'm giving a lecture at 2 and I haven't even started preparing it yet!

Countmyblessings · 06/02/2012 12:09

ifrustrated - so sorry to read what you had to deal with in the past and to have to medical terminate must of been the hardest decision you have had to make it lovely to know after all you've been through you have another chance of happiness! trust me i know how it feels to get a positive and think all is well to go to an early scan at 9 weeks and be told all is well to then go at 12 weeks scan ( was 14 weeks ) to be told no heartbeat!!!!!!
sorry misslaughalot and snowbeetle - with the bfn - but until hag comes you still stand a chance of a bfp!!!
Dh21 i was thinking of also using a cbfkit (if I'm not pregnant this time) but was thinking it takes away the "it was meant to be" and my dh is not to keen on the stress and planning it will put on me, so trying to stay calm although been trying since august!after my erpc in june!

just chilling in doors watching the snow melt!!!! Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/02/2012 16:07

Just been to a baby group where 2 people are preg (all the same people generally go every week so we all know each other really well) they're about 8 weeks apart but I'm not surprised because they do everything together do have had to listen about their pregnancies etc.

I just want to know if I'm preg or not grrr! I dont care if AF is going to come but I wish it would just get on with it so I can start ttc again.
We're still dtd but I don't know how much good it's doing. I suppose dtd regularly no matter what time of the month covers all situations!

My friend got preg with her first 2 days before her AF was due so who knows!

wifey6 · 06/02/2012 16:18

DH21.....have you re-tested recently? May be your cycles have just altered...mine fluctuate between 29-36 days. Very hard without the obvious OV symptoms to keep track of when's best to dtd etc.

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/02/2012 16:55

I haven't tested since sat, I might test later this week.
Didn't get to dtd last night in the end because ds took half an hour to go to sleep so I wasn't in the mood after that but will be back to business tonight!

Beeblebear · 06/02/2012 19:04

Aarg not due until saturday but wish it was now so that I could know if I could take some coldmeds or not. I feel pretty good other than the sore throat and stuffy nose and sneezing though.

On anotner note.. My left nipple nipple is itchy and chapped probably from scratching it, symptom maybe?

And not that I need to go above spotting symptoms and lookin for signs.. But our not so cuddly fur baby curled up on the couch with me three times yesterday and each time with a paw on my tummy and her head in my lap. probably just becAuse she can smell that i'm preggo sick though.

Don't know if I'll be able 2 hold out until saturday. 5 more days and counting.

If it's not this month i'm going to have a really hard time not being gutted as I turn 30 on the 26th. Really pictured having kids or at least bfp by then. Why are milestones and holidays so hard?

misslaughalot · 07/02/2012 10:18

Morning peoples, how's everyone today?

DH21 any news yet? Really hoping you get out of limbo one way or the other soon!

Snowbeetle hoping AF still isn't with you yet

Beeblebear hope you've got some distractions lined up to get you to POAS day!

No sign of AF for me yet either, but feeling quite achey down there today. Going to try and resist POAS again until the weekend...

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/02/2012 10:48

No news yet, I'll test sometime this week I want to try and leave it as long as I can really.

Good luck to everyone else!

bettybat · 07/02/2012 11:13

Just wanted to pop in quickly to send hugs to those of you having a bit of hard time :)

DH21 I can't believe still no AF - has this ever happened before. Besides, you know, when you were pregnant with DC1?

Snowbeetle and Beeblebear is it testing time yet??

Misslaughalot - when are you due/what DPO are you?

I'm on...umm...day 23. So AF could be from any day next Tuesday. Or earlier if it's feeling contrary. Ovulation calendar has also been very useful in telling me tomorrow is a full moon: arrrrwoooo! (That's mean to be a howl, Shakira-style.)

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/02/2012 12:33

Nope, I was preg this quick with ds so had a BFP straight away. I breasted him for 15 months then when I stopped I had regular AFs but was on the mini pill so dont know how much was down to that. So this is the first time I've ever been this late and getting BFNs. Tis v annoying!
I suppose being on the pill/ implant for 5 years then breast feeding would have put my normal cycle out of whack.

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/02/2012 12:33

Breasted!? Haha breastfed obv!

misslaughalot · 07/02/2012 12:34

Oooh bettybat good moon howl!

I'm on cd30 today. Usually AF appears on day 28 but I had an ERPC in November. Cycle 1 was 40 days after that and this month is cycle 2 so I don't really know if AF is going to snap back to normal or will still take longer?

Felt really achey on the left side down there all morning, really distracting me from working. Speaking of which, better get back to it.

Shake your Shakira hair ladies!

misslaughalot · 07/02/2012 12:35

Ha DH21 breasted!! That is now going to be my new verb for bf!! Brilliant!
