Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Morning Guys!

speculation sorry to hear about AF :( Fingers crossed for next month.

How is everyone else doing?

Im now on my tww and imagining baby names, how I'm going to tell everyone and what the nursery will look like!! Wierdo!! Blush Hopefully all this imagination wont end in disappointment again this month! Have another baby shower to go to this weekend and my cousin announced that she is pregnant again, this followed texts from my family saying 'I better get moving on the baby front' how bloody annoying!

Laura that's annoying...I would be tempted to text back saying - really? I shall just snap my fingers then, shall I!

Hahahaha.

Fingers crossed for you, lovely. I guess I'm on the wait now too. All I want to do is mentally check out of reality and immerse myself in multiple Sookie Stackhouse novels but stupid work is getting in the way.

I am imagining all sorts of things - I keep getting cramps and things but it's stupid to try and second guess things. I thought I did last month, and look how that turned out.

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/02/2012 09:54

Now you've made me excited!! Testing tomorrow Grin

laura you're not alone in the weird thinking, I keep telling ds that he's going to have a brother or sister soon! Bless him at least he's too young to understand.

Also my parents are on a cruise atm and I really want to be able to tell them in preg when they get back.

twolittlemonkeys · 03/02/2012 10:15

Hi Ladies, just checking in. I tested again this morning, still BFN. No sign of AF though so I strongly suspect the Clomid hasn't worked this month at all and that it is now the end of the road for us. I will update you if/when AF arrives :(

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/02/2012 10:49

twolittlemonkeys sorry you got a bfn. I dont think Jan/feb is a good time for ttc by the sounds of it. No one really knows where they stand.

lostboysfallin · 03/02/2012 12:43

Had good cry to DH last night when he came in. He's trying to be supportive but not really saying the right things, bless him.
problem is I need something to keep me busy. Ds at pre-school. So took him out this morning and we've had lots of games and cuddles
I think that its just sinking in that we have been at this for 3 years.
AF pretty much here, so at least the pressure is off for a bit.
Will concentrate on having a good holiday, then ivf when we get back.

Ratata · 03/02/2012 16:54

Hello again all. Nice to see BFPs, boo to BFNs and yay to barmy sperm, laughed my butt off at that.

6 days til I test... So next Thursday it is. Recent symptoms have developed: slightly sore boobs, heartburn, feeling queasy in morning sometimes, lump feeling in throat, crampy pains, snuffly nose. Could be AF on way I guess. Last month I didn't get sore boobs before period which confused me but it was first month off pill. And now boobs are a bit sore... In my head I'm definitely pregnant. Three days ago I decided I was definitely not pregnant and started planning a holiday lol. It's all black and white with me :p

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/02/2012 17:48

lostboys my dh is the same, he just said try not to think about it and what will be will be but its not that easy when its your body! hes more of an as and when. He gets excited when the baby has actually arrived so he'll have 9(ish) more months of my moaning!

Beeblebear · 03/02/2012 19:34

My DH doesn't really say anything at all about it! I'm not sure what would be worse. lol

PS. Downloaded and watched an episode of OBEM last night. OMG I would be so addicted if that was on TV here (if I had cable). I can't see too many places to download it here though, mostly say content blocked in your viewing area.

Does anyone here have downloaded copies they could share with me through drop-box or something?

I saw a preview of a what looked to be down syndrom woman giving birth would love to watch that episode!

ellesabe · 03/02/2012 19:36

Aw sorry about bfn 2littlemonkeys ...you certainly deserve that holiday!

There is still absolutely zilch going on here. No af, no symptoms. Don't feel pg. will test again tomorrow.

Sounds promising dh21 :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/02/2012 19:54

beeble it is an amazing series I love OBEM, that woman has mental disabilities. She was hit by a car as a child, she goes on to get married and she's 40 when she has that baby. She's a lovely woman, she was always smiling and saying nice things to everyone!
Sorry don't have any downloaded though.

I don't know whether to test or not now...just think I'm in for a bfn and my cycles haven't calmed down from coming off the pill.
Hmm..I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

ellesabe · 03/02/2012 20:37

Yes I loved that episode of obem too. It's the only one where I have seen the midwives cry. Such a lovely couple :)

Beeblebear · 03/02/2012 22:02

I'll have to try again to find that episode somewhere.

On another note, still 8 days until predicted aunt flo, and have just come down with a cold. Sore throat runny nose... and of course I would LOVE to take something, but then I think.... what if! So i'm drinking tea with honey and eating halls like they are going out of style! Bummer.

ellesabe · 04/02/2012 07:54

Well I think I may have just had a very very very very VERY teeny tiny faint line. So faint that I could have imagined it. Exactly the same happened with dd but I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

Will test again tomorrow. Eek! The reality of all this is just dawning on me Confused

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/02/2012 07:56

Another bfn, this is so frustrating! I'd be SO surprised if I'm preg at all. I'm on cd32 now so I'll wait til next week and if no AF I'll go to the docs.

ConfusedMumDotCom · 04/02/2012 08:25

Good morning ladies.

I'm sorry about the BFNs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those who are still waiting for AF.

SWI is well underway here, which is so much more fun than the TWW. My parents kindly babysat last night so DH and I hit the pub. Grin I'm paying for it now though as DD has developed a chest infection over night and I appear to be a light weight reaches for the anadin extra, large coffee and a bacon sandwich.

ifrustrated · 04/02/2012 08:34

Sorry about all the bfn's Sad

I feel like I am going mad here. Af due between wed and Friday this week but I really do feel pregnant. Had cramping all this week (since Monday) and they were really sore yesterday. Also I am back to waking at 5 am every morning for the last three (so not like me except when pregnant) and I am having the most horrible vivid dreams (also happens to me when pregnant)

Took a tesco test with fmu yesterday and there was a very faint pink line but I'm now beginning to doubt myself and think it was a evaporation line as I tested with a asda test/first responce and eBay cheapie this morning and they are all bfn!!

Surely if I was preg one of them would have been bfp given that I thought I had a bfp 24 hours ago?

Word of warning though, the 2 first responce tests cost almost £10 and should only be used from 1st day of missed af! Where as the asda ones were £4 for 2 and can be used from 4days before af.

ifrustrated · 04/02/2012 08:37

Ellasbe- very good lucky with your faint "have I imagined it or not" line Grin I know EXACTLY what you are meaning.

milk · 04/02/2012 09:20

I'm back:

I went for a scan on Wednesday. I am 5 weeks. They only found a sac and no yolk.

Basically they said I have to come back in 2 weeks to find out if I have a baby or not :(

2 weeks?!? For the last 3 days I've been going insane!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/02/2012 11:32

Oh milk keeping everything crossed for you. Really hope you get good news.

ellesabe · 04/02/2012 12:07

Oh how infuriating milk! I hope you have lots planned to pass the time.

Well since my 'is it or isn't it?' this morning I have had a few af-ish cramps which isn't a great sign. I also went and splurged on some extra-nice extra-skinny jeans Grin So if af arrives I can enjoy the fact that my new jeans will fit me for that bit longer, and if I get my bfp then I won't give a hoot about new jeans anyway. I also bought a lovely new dress and a maternity top Ha ha!

Beeblebear · 04/02/2012 18:49

Found the obem video with the 40 yr old disabled lady. Omg bawled! What a sweet lady :)

Elle... That.s exciting! Gonna do a digi?

ellesabe · 04/02/2012 19:03

Yeah I will but only after I've had a bit more of a definite result on the cheapie ones in my cupboard. I can't beat the thought of spending so much money on a digital test only for it to be a bfn.

I am starting to vaguely get my hopes up now. Maybe I won't test tomorrow, maybe I'll try to hold out until Monday. Yeah right.

Winnie81 · 05/02/2012 08:15

Milk- I hope your wait isn't too worrying and the next 2 weeks hurries up!

Ellas- have u tested yet??? Grin

ifrustrated · 05/02/2012 09:16

Bfp this morning for me Smile

Still three days until af is due but the (faint) line came up right away.

Tesco tests are the best I find for getting a early result btw

Going to leave things now until the end of the week after af was due and then get in touch with the consultant I was under when we lost the baby last year and start thinking about what tests we will be doing/not doing

Good luck everyone still waiting to test Smile
