Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

living with a shift workers never easy. Dh does them occasionally and you feel like your running the whole shebang. Will this night work last long??

peepee · 20/01/2006 22:18

I now exactly how u feel.
DH was away alot last year on his dog courses it was awfull. One of those times I was m/c and it was the worst time ever. I didn't want to say to much to him as he was under alot of strees so I turned to u guys.

It is so hard when they are away. Go to sleep then when u wake he'll be there.

Coathanger · 20/01/2006 22:18

He is perm nights but not this many hours normally - its a shutdown at the moment so there is more work to be done with a deadline

peepee · 20/01/2006 22:20

I tested this mornig and BFN. Only day 24 though! Am not hopeful though..... This progesterone is working far too well for my liking.

Phoned my GP today for some more and she will only do a prescription for 15. COW.... That'll cost me another 6 pounds whatever for that at least last time they gave me 30. 15 isn't even enough for a cycle!!!

Coathanger · 20/01/2006 22:22

Oh Peepee you poor love What a rotten time to go through in your own I'm glad that "we" were here though

Talking of going to sleep I must go and get some now. I need as much beauty sleep I can get for tomorrow (although if I slept for a year, it wouldn't help!) and I want to jump in the bath befor I sleep (not my usual yearly bath time, but seeing as I am meeting you lot, I suppose I should make an effort!)

I will be on briefly in the morning with some sort of test result for you.

Nighty night my lovelies!! xxxxx

Coathanger · 20/01/2006 22:23

Oh and BITCH GP!!!!! 15 thats bloody rediculous! Silly doctor!

peepee · 20/01/2006 22:24

Am really excited............ Won't be able to sleep!!

going4potty · 20/01/2006 22:24

Aww ch thats a shame, i know its not the same, but im here if you need to chat. It is hard though, dh works on exhibitions, so although he works all year round, some months are bussier then others. There are times we never use to actually see him, so i know where your comming from.

going4potty · 20/01/2006 22:26

Ok then ladies, talk soon bye

Coathanger · 20/01/2006 22:28

HellKat · 21/01/2006 07:12

Anyway onto a brighter note, hope the meet up goes fantastically all! Wish I could've been there. Have a great time xxxxxxxxxxx

Charlee · 21/01/2006 07:33

Hi!

Just thought i would check in so you know im still around. CD 10 for me. My sister gave birth to baby Joshua today 7.10 lbs it was really quick again (last one was 1 pain on the bathroom floor!) This time she at least made it to the hospital bun not to the labour ward! Sorry if that makes some of you feel bad but im really excited and happy for her so i had to share.

Anyway i hope your all doing ok, luv and hugs to you all, Charlee xox

Coathanger · 21/01/2006 08:27

Good morning ladies!

Well D-Day is here and I'm about to go sort myself out to leave at about 11.30 for London Town!!

But had to just pop on the saw BFN - sorry but it was a DEFFO BFN - no evap lines. no flickers, no faint squiggles, and that was with a First Response. SO I can safely say I am not PG. I'm not in the slightest bit upset, in fact I think I have a strange feeling of relief - it wouldn't hve been the best time for me to fall PG. I have way too much going on right now.

Anyway, HK - I hope you are okay and I will speak to you soon with all the gossip from today xxxxxxxx

Charlee - well done your sister

HellKat · 21/01/2006 08:29

Sorry to hear that Ch hun. Talk soon x

Coathanger · 21/01/2006 08:54

Its okay HK, really. I'm not at all bothered, I mean it would have been nice, but I really think I should concentrate on at least trying this course. If I don't like it or don't do well, then maybe I can start to think about TTCing again. But obviously it isn't meant to happen to me yet as I have other things I am destined to do.
Becoming a midwife is my dream and I now have he opportunity to go for it. So, you see , getting a BFN has probably done me a favour really.

HK, if you want me to ring I will before I go xxx

HellKat · 21/01/2006 09:00

Good thinking hun.
nah you're alright mate, I'll give you a bell in the morning to goss lol you've got alot to get done this morning. Have a great one x

Coathanger · 21/01/2006 09:02

I'll mail you before I go hun xxxxxxxxxxxxx

kreamkrackers · 21/01/2006 09:07

really excited and shocked but we are both nervous now (I even took a pic of the digital read out lol weirdo I know) ...DH in particular won't rest until 12 wk scan and has ordered me to rest and take my time already... sorry if this news is a bit sore for some right now xxxx

Not sure when to go drs at the moment, we aren't telling anyone until 12 wk scan...except you guys of course...will be difficult cos I want to tell the parents but dh says no just in case...

kreamkrackers · 21/01/2006 14:32

i made an appointment with the midwife as soon as i found out as we have long waits here (well usually do). i'm seeing mine when i'm 8 weeks pg, which is fantastic. i was 12 weeks with dd and the mc i never got to see mv, appointment was for when i was 13 weeks but never made it hope you have a brilliant pg.
