Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Good afternoon one and all!!

How have your days been? I am suitably knackered after 3 and a half hours at soft play!! I am now due another 3 kids as well as my own for tea!! So, I think I will sleep well tonight.

Still no sign of AF by the way....

So, tomorrows the big day!! Of course ther will be photos and they will be on here on Sunday!! Can't wait!! I think everyone knows my real name but I will mail you all it anyway just in case.

I will have the opprtunity to hug all those I see tomorrow, but for those of you unable to make it heres yours in advance...

Ok all, good news & bad news.
My hormone levels are that of a healthy pg (risen from 12,000 to over 20,000) so no ectopic. But where I'm still bleeding quite heavily and clotting lots (with loads of pain) that consists of an imminent mc.
The poor nurse I spoke to (same one I saw on Weds) is totally flummoxed as to what's happening. She's convinced (as I am) it's not a "healthy" pg. So I've got ring her Monday if it's still carrying on and go for a scan 10am Weds. Not cancelled my endo surgery (Weds afternoon) as she said they'll go by what the scan says (plus I may mc over the w/end) and if things are'nt how they should be, then they'll do the op anyway.
So still none the wiser really. Just have to sit back and wait & see what happens. Every pg symptom has now vanished and still don't feel pg so waiting on the inevitable. They said if it was just the bleeding then it would'nt be a worry but the fact that's it's coupled with horrendous af/contraction like pains and clots, that makes them think that it will end in mc, just not sure when.
Days like this I could do with a large drink lol .

Ch- Wahoooo no af!!! Sounds promising hun, when are you testing?

Nope they did'nt. Did think of that but wouldn't explain the pain now surely? It's getting worse by the hour. Just hoping if it's going to mc, hurry up. Sooner rather than later.

HK- im sorry it's more waiting for you. it does seem weird that your hcg levels are normal and have doubled in 2 days like expected yet still such pain and bleeding! how bizarre. just thinking maybe you could try epsom salts bath which will relax the uterus and maybe help with the pain. will the scan on wednesday either show a baby or not show a baby?

PeePee - I too have heard this with twins on here I think and a colleague went through this too.

CH - still no af hey... will you be testing again soon?? still no af for me either DH said for me to get test on way home....

Now ladies....you all have a wonderful meet up, enoy and have lots of fun and food..yum yum.... I wish I was going to be there but next time. I will look forward to seeing the photo's and hearing about your meet. Safe journeys xxxxxxx

Hello all, oh hell kat, go rest lovely sending you loads of (((hugs))). Ch lets hope af stays away, good luck. Jane hope your ok. Well work was tiring so resting up for the bding marthon Im so nervy, its like a first date lol, my ears prick up everytime i hear a noise neat the door. Met a friend for lunch 2day, knew they were having financial troubles, as had unexpected dd after taking huge mortgage, looks like they may have to move out , poor things. Worse yet, she may move back up north .

hk - poor you, a nice hot soak in the bath and an early night is my only advice i'm afraid. oh and any naughty food you can get hold of (ice cream, chocolate, cakes, etc). thinking of you.
testers - get testing tomorrow morning and best of luck

i went to the shops today and was so at the bus stop. i sat down with dd next to me in her buggy and then an old woman came and sat next to me and lit a cigarette so i had to move. but then the same thing happened on the way back. people can be so rude, no one should smoke near a child and if near an adult they should ask if they mind them smoking. it makes me soooooo when we were last in alder hey with dd we noticed the bus stops outside there were no smoking, i wish they'd do the same here. also alder hey's now a no smoking hospital yet nobody listens and nothings being said to the people who are smoking there. when we're in there in summer months and the windows are open the smell comes through to the ward. sorry just had to have a moan. hope everyone else is doing well.

oh, just thought i'd post this. if it wasn't for me having bad nerves i'd have passed my stupid driving test and wouldn't be anywhere near bus stops. i can't believe how panicky i get on test days and how i make so many stupid mistakes that i'd never normally make. i don't think i'll ever pass my test. sorry for going on just got a lot of [anger] inside me today and need to release it somewhere!

Hi KK, know how you feel about the smoking, they were hanging round the exit when ds first came home with us and i was livid. I remember my sil saying oh well you have to put up with all sorts of people. I hasten to add they had no children then. I wonder if shell change her mind when she becomes a mum in may????? But yes there are lots of rude inconsiderate people all over the place! Now i will get of my soap box and get back to resting

kk- i know what you mean about smoking, i get mad with people in the street smoking in a busy market i have to try my best to watch my 2 kids don't get stabbed in the eye with the fag! i am an ex smoker but i can positively say i was never as insensitive to people at bus stops or where ever.

KK - I'm with you on smoking. I hate it, have never done it and never wish to, and I despise people smoking round my children.

Peepee - not heard about the whale but perhaps we should do a field trip tomorrow and all of us can trudge of to the river to take a gander Looking forward to meeting you!

Okay same story on the AF front (was gonna call it AF-cam, but it sounds far too intimate!!) - she still hasn't made an appearance, but I'm sure when she does, it's gonna be a grand one. Testing tomorrow morning all being well. I will post my result on here in the morning before I leave for the Meet up, so Slink and Peepee (and anyone else with access to MN before we meet up, keep schtum!!)

Right, for those of you going to the meet up, the table is booked for 3pm. I hope to be there before but with DH working a night shift again tonight, I'm not sure what time we will leave Kent. So, if you get to the restaurant and I'm not there, I haven't got cold feet, I'll be on my way. Diddle knows what name the table is booked in.

pmsl believe me his gonna be horizontal for the next few weeks lol. Watching eastenders then were off.With not being sure about cycle length/ luteal phase etc, im nottaking any chances.

Still no AF. I am sure she is trying really hard to come as I have had a weeny, teeny bit of slightly pink CM the last couple of days but it is hardly noticable. The pain has stopped though which is good. Got a First Response test ready for tomorrow morning. I will post the result on here in the morning before I leave for London.
