Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

A lot of you will know this was my last month of ttc, cd32 today so there really is no hope as even a small trace of hcg would have shown. spub · 16/01/2006 15:16

Carly - just saw your message. for you. Hugs

kreamkrackers · 16/01/2006 15:37

feeling very upset at the moment. dd's amnio mat (detects breathing if no movement felt after 20 seconds alarm goes off) has just gone off again i've booked a doctors appointment for wednesday morning but this has really upset me. she hasn't seen her cardiac consultant since mid oct (this is the longest we've not seen him for) and i'm now counting down the days until we next see him (3rd feb). it has only ever gone off once when she was a baby but since christmas it's been twice a week! we thought it might have been because dd moves around these days so it might not detect as well as what it should do. anyways we turned the sensitivity up and it's still going off, this time she was right above where the mat was. once the alarm starts to sound i think this shocks dd into taking a good deep breath. i think i'm going to phone dp and see what he has to say (just need someone to reassure me right now)
carly - don't give up hope until af arrives.

Spub - thanks hun, but I don't hold out much hope. Getting more AF pains tonight. I had pain last night but this is much more like normal AF pains.

Told DH tonight that I was possibly PG. He was fine I explained that it is only a maybe as I haven't tested yet. He asked me how I felt and I said I was confused as I do really want to go to college now I have come this far. But I explained I would obviously be happy too. He said we would get roung it and take each day at a time So worst thing is over with! I'll get AF now you watch!

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 18:34

Yesterday, scientists in the United States revealed that beer contains small traces of female hormones.

To prove their theory, they fed one hundred men twelve pints of beer and observed that 100% of them started talking nonsense and couldn't drive.

A woman went to the doctor's office. She was seen by one of the new doctors, but after about four minutes in the examination room, she burst out, screaming as she ran down the hall. An older doctor stopped and asked her what the problem was, and she explained. He had her sit down and relax in another room.

The older doctor marched back to the first and demanded, "What's the matter with you? Mrs. Terry is 63 years old, she has four grown children and seven grandchildren, and you told her she was PREGNANT?"

The new doctor smiled smugly as he continued to write on his clipboard.

"Cured her hiccups though, didn't it?"

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:33

A man took his pregnant wife to the hospital to give birth. The doctor told them that they'd developed a new machine and asked if the couple would like to try it out. The machine could take some of the pain of childbirth from the mother and give it to the father to ease the mother's burden.

Well, they thought that was a good idea, and decided to give it a try. The doctor initially set the machine on 10 percent, telling the man that even 10 percent was probably more pain than he'd ever experienced. But the husband was surprised at how little pain he was feeling, and asked the doctor to raise the level.

The doctor increased it to 20 percent, and when the man still felt fine, he raised it to 50 and finally 100 percent.

After it was all over, the man stood up, and stretched a little. Both he and his wife felt fine, and they shortly left the hospital to take the baby home.

It was then that they found the postman dead on their doorstep.

Coathanger · 16/01/2006 20:34
