Ok ladies, here we go a nice new thread for us to share our fears and smiles on.

Lets keep smiling and positive, and make sure that this is a Happy year for everyone.

Life is far too short to waste, and after such a rough year for most of us last year, lets make 2006 an extra special one x x x

Nighty night G4P speak properly soon hun xxxxxx

jane313 · 10/01/2006 03:55

thanks everyone, I feel made very welcome. Had huge row with dh but I think it cleared the air a bit and he did apologise. But I think that 7 months of ttc, tests and then this has made him want to give up and stick with one.

sorry to hear about you dh goingforpotty. Its a really worrying time when that happens. I think its the not knowing thats worse almost.

humpreyscorner, the toilet training sounds horrible. How old is your dd? I keep finding ways to avoid starting with my ds. We hope to move house soon so thats one reason. Then I want to do it when Dh is home and hes a teacher so that delays us even further. Its odd how competative people get about it. But I did chat to a lovely woman the other day who said she was going to leave it until her son was pulling them off and demanding to wear pants.

peepee, can I ask about your low progesterone? I had that on my day 21 blood tests and my GP thought I wasn't ovulating but consultant thought they may be some ovulatory activity (whatever that means). So he wanted to test for uterine scarring from my c-section to see if that was a factor before putting me on clomid.

and hello to everyone else

HellKat · 10/01/2006 05:23

Morning all.
Thanks again sweethearts, you've been wonderful.
Hc- Even I did'nt know i was testing.
Right that's the last on that subject. Back to business .
Jane {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}} . You poor thing thing hunny. We know exactly what it's like. I suffered my fourth back in April. Make sure you take time out for you to rest, grieve etc. Have'nt read the posts through, but if it's hard to get me time, grab a lovely hot bath, lots of bubbles and smellies. Won't stop the awful thing that's happening but for a few minutes will actually make you feel "human". Make sure afterwards, you give yourself time to heal. I found this time around, lots of talking about it helped greatly (did'nt start to become a taboo subject so to speak) and with the result, found pretty soon I would'nt burst into tears all the time. Time is a great healer. Thinking of you xxxx

Ch- Wonderful, wonderful news!!!! Well done you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Coathanger · 10/01/2006 08:21

Morning all!

Jane - I hope you are okay this morning. Was thinking about you last night. It was probably a good thing to have a row because it gets rid of some of that frustration bottling up. See it as a vent for your anger, sadness, grief etc! I'm glad DH apologised too. Like HK said, make sure you take plenty of time with this. Don't be in any hurry to move on, let it run its course natrally. There is nothing worse than trying to squash down your emotions and carry on - I knwo from experience. Anyway, hope you are feeling okay xxxxxx

HK - I don't want to mention it anymore on here, but how are you? IS is sinking in?

HC - BLOODY MILs!!! I'm sure God invented them just to p**s us off!! You must stand your ground. I know its easier said than done but it will pay off. Just like my battle with my MIL and sweets! She insisted on giving my boys Smarties and M&Ms and highly coloured sweets, but they ust can't take them - they go all hyper! But she would just keep giving them to them even though I had said no. So one day I just had to sit her down and hammer it home. Was awful but it paid off as now she alway asks me first! Talk to her, it might work. Anyway,, how are you?

Morning to everyone else! Hope you are well this morning!

HellKat · 10/01/2006 08:26

Ch- Actually hun it has! Weird eh?
I see yet another bloody miserable grey day!
Give me my snow

diddle · 10/01/2006 08:31

Charlee - Do you live in Auckland??
Your little bleed could be an implantation bleed.

Jane - so so sorry to hear you're going through this awful experience, we all know just how you feel. Please take time to rest and take it easy, don't push yourself to do too much, your body s going through a major trauma right now. i'm sure you feel drained and lifeless. I know i did.
Your Dh will be struggling too, don't take it personally, it is hard for them to see us going through so much paina nd heartache, and they're not distant because they dpn't care, its because they just don't know how to react without cracking up, and not being the rock of support they think they should be. Communication is the key.

I hope you're alright and please feel free to chat to us anytime we're here to support you.

morning to everyone else, ahven't totally caught up yet, but will when i come back from school, chat soon

kreamkrackers · 10/01/2006 10:06

hi, thought i'd come and join this thread. i had a miscarriage back in june and was so upset i decided not to try again and had the contraceptive implant put in. however, it caused that many problems i had it taken out in early november. dd1 has a lot of cardiac problems and although she'll need minor visits for cardiac catheatre proceedures she's not likely o need anymore open heart surgery for a couple of years (fingers crossed). so we decided to not use any contraception after i had the implant removed. i'm feeling different already (don't know whther it's all in my head!). last af was dec 18th, so i'm going to test this weekend. was just wondering which is the best test to buy? i'm desperate to find out and don't want a false negative. i know i've not been trying for long but i really feel something might have happened as i've got terrible mood swings again and feel different inside.

welcome Kreamkrackers - hope you get your bfp. I always used clearblue tests, never went wrong with them, i often wondered fi the cheaper ones were lower quality.

Welcome Kreamkrackers!! I'm sorry to hear about your MC in the summer Mine was in AUgust so not long after. How are you dealing with it? I still have terrible days, but I try so hard to get on with it all. I usually spend my days on here trying to keep my mind off thigs! And having a laugh too!! lol!! I only buy my PG tests in the shops and I tend to go for Clearblue or Predictor. I have always had good results with them. I don't buy from the internet in bulk because I would be testing every day other wise I really hope you get the result you want this month, but if not, we re here to keep you smilig til you do (and then keep you smiling through PG too )

kreamkrackers · 10/01/2006 10:53

thankyou everyone, you're all so welcoming. i think i'd be tempted to test everyday about a week before af is due until it arrives if i could so probably best to stick to getting them from the shops, only 2 tests in them packs! can't stop thinking i could be, but i don't want to build my hopes up. what's the name of the test that lets you test before af is due?
