no they told me after the first one that i was rehsus -ve and thats why I had to have a needle in my bum after the op. I'm sure thats what I said.

Thats gonna bug me now, i'll go check hang on!

did you have one this time or is it a d&c sort of thing. if that makes sense, i never had a d&c.

I was told and read on prev link it was down to how many weeks you were when bleeding/mc.. 12 wks or more then anti is usually given

I MCed at 7 weeks and the EPU didn't offer me Anti-D (I'm RH neg) but my GP told me they were boardering on neglegent as you should have it after any PG, to term or otherwise, within 72 hours

Anti-D is recommended in the following circumstances:-

Threatened miscarriage, where bleeding occurs after 12 weeks of pregnancy

· Miscarriage, after 12 weeks of pregnancy

· Miscarriage before 12 weeks of pregnancy, if there has been surgical removal of pregnancy tissue by an ERPC (Evacuation of the Retained Products of Conception) or D & C (Dilatation and Curettage)

· Ectopic pregnancy

If possible, the injection should be given within 72 hours of any of the above events. If this is not possible, it should be given up to 10 days following the event as there is still some protection given. If bleeding continues intermittently after 12 weeks' gestation, anti-D should be repeated at six-weekly intervals.

And yeah I think u're supposed to have anti-d after any pg

ok... changing the subject...came to work with 6 mince pies (home made by mil/fil), gave 3 away and 1 left will it be there in an hours time??
