mygarland · 19/12/2005 13:54

I meant to saydd1&2's xmas presents. I also meant to say I was helping them not doing it for them of course....... hahaha the thought of me being a perfectionist wanting to do everything myself .... hahaha (think I got away with it)!

CorrieDale · 19/12/2005 14:31

Excuse the hijack, but when I was TTC after a miscarriage (3 actually ) I just loved hearing success stories. I am now one of those stories - DS is nearly 6 months - so I'm blowing tons of babydust everybody's way - and wishing you blue lines (or pink ones) for Christmas.

Hi everyone, hope your ok mums and ash and hugs to all. Sorry havent got on until now, but today turned into a bi of a nightmare. staretd by going to have sutures removed, started me of crying asd someone fiddling just reminde me of the op and loss of my baby. Then mentioned my tierdness etc, said thought was aenemic, but since was breathless and post op, dr i saw said it might be a pulmonary embolis. So ended up in hospital for 5 hrs! To be told nt only did i not have anemia but no pe either and was just run down with mild depression!!! Just annoyed ive lost arest day and also had lots of housework! Sorry just needed to rant a little. But being in the hospital with people touching my tummy is still very reminiscent of my pre op experience.

mygarland · 19/12/2005 15:45

Thanks CorrieDale!

going4potty · 19/12/2005 16:02

jinglediddle · 19/12/2005 16:07

G4P - so sorry you've been through that today, must have been horrendous, hope you can rest now you're home.

going4potty · 19/12/2005 16:35

thanks jingle, hope ur ok 2. The gp set me of this morning, it was unexpected, as allthough the stiches were difficult 2 remove, that wasnt what was making me cry. I felt like a ninny actually. But she kept saying id been through a lot, so i think she realised it wasnt the physical pain.

carlychristmas · 19/12/2005 17:23

Well, I am back from my lovely break at Champneys Henlow Grange. It was great. So relaxing and calming. Feet and eyebrows look great. Couldn't chance it with any massages etc just incase . Had reiki though. Wow. I am sure the therapist snuck out when I fell asleep she says she never.
Am home now and should spend some time with DH.
Catch up tomorrow.

mygarland · 19/12/2005 18:27

Glad u had a good trip MP, spk l8r i'll let u rest more.
Carly - sorry for delay just replied now as dh walked in the door from overtime.

jinglediddle · 20/12/2005 07:55

mincepee - oh wow, that sounds so relaxing, really fancy a bit of that. Keep watching the health spa adds on tv for our area, hinting to Dh how lovely that would be. Bet he hasn't got the message though. really fancy a bit of pampering.

HumphreysCorner · 20/12/2005 08:58

Morning ladies

Me and DD still poorly so another day off work. Must be better for Christmas!

Diddle-we haven't heard from LottieLou for ages-is she OK. I'm really worried about her.

Is everyone just about sorted for the big day?

Right, better be brave and phone work to say I'm not coming in again. I only work Mondays and Tuesdays so feel bad about it.

Love and hugs to all

((xxx))

mumsXMASwish · 20/12/2005 09:03

Morning ladies,

They had another check of HCG's and all is well, although the GP did say I would prob start bleeding again soon just to finish clearing out. We're not allowed to BD either. which is not fair cos whenever i'm not on my pill the sex-drive goes through the roof. lol

Sorry to hear about your hospital experience G4P, I hope your feeling a little better today.

5 DAYS TILL XMAS*

jinglediddle · 20/12/2005 09:21

HC - Lottielou - is doing okay thank you, she has been off work for months, due to pains in her abdomen, caused by a cyst. She is back at work now and has even less time to chat so i doubt we'll hear from her much. But thank you i will pass on your concern to her.

FirstSaintNikkilass · 20/12/2005 09:30

Morning ladies how are you all?? Ready for Santa?

Mincepee - your break sounds lovely something I have always wanted to do but haven't got round to doing it.

G4P - hope you are feeling better today

MXW - how are you today? how was your afternoon off?

Any testers coming up??

AF still not arrived yet but expecting it this week even DH said last night you are due AF any day aren't you....he can tell by my dumb behaviour around AF time..seem to get my words muddled up.

Went out for first time in months at weekend...gosh can't drink much anymore.

mumsXMASwish · 20/12/2005 09:38

my afternoon was manic!! I spent 45 mins queing at woolworths for 1 CD!! ah well, all done now! except xmas cards

FirstSaintNikkilass · 20/12/2005 09:48

45 mins I hate it when its manic...you can't see let alone get the things you want and then have to queue...internet ordering i found is the way...

so how are you and DP coping? all ok with the house move?

mumsXMASwish · 20/12/2005 09:53

well I did most of my xmas shopping on the net but some things I had to go into town for! I've still gotta get my grandad's things but he's having a hamper so it'll have to be the last thing I get.

House is going great, went to sign the loan agreement for mortgage last night so we've def got our mortgage, now solicitor is doing the searches which takes 10 working days then we can sign and move in!! WOO HOO!!

FirstSaintNikkilass · 20/12/2005 10:01
