Afternoon ladies!

Well I just wanted to write my symptoms down to see what everyone thinks, I really don't think we will have been successful this month, but my symptoms so far :

Spotting mid cycle - Not sure this could have been implantation or anything as quite early on, would have been around ovulation for 1 of them
Thrush!!! - Awful for about 1 week just about gone now, had this when pg with DS1???
Extreme Tiredness :( - For last week have been absolutely exhausted, have had some late nights but nothing major, were talking 11pm, and DS2 has started to sleep much better so actually probably getting more sleep than for a long time. Monday everyone kept asking if i'd been crying as eyes were soooo tired. Then yesterday and today get to about 3pm and could truly go to bed and not get up until tomorrow :(
Mood swings - have been emotional and also extremely cranky in past couple of weeks, teachers school report made me cry, been screaming at the kids (school holidays lol)

Not sure when due as had really weird cycle last month, was 37 days long, which in my terms could be up to 10 days late!!. So cd 24 today I am not testing early this month and will try and wait until tuesday.

So what do you think:)

Thank you London, no sign of av here, was just thinking that perhaps im having a phantom pregnancy!!! all the signs but no positive test Grin
Have you done a test london?
What about you going? Any news from you? im desperate to hear of some BFP's!!!

Yea Plink swi before and on day of ovulation is good, after isnt too much use as eggs dont last very long, but sperm can live for days and days, so before ov is when you need to get swi'ing :)

LondonLady30 · 03/08/2011 21:08

I haven't tested yet - I was planning on waiting for two weeks after my smiley face on the clear blue sticks - which would be this coming Monday.

So I'm a bit confused now - I thought the clear blue sticks did the hard work for you. When you get a smiley face, that indicates your LH surge so you SWI in the two days afterwards. That would amount to SWI before you ovulate and sperm would be waiting for it. I don't think I should be SWI before I even get the smiley face should I? (Although have to say we are doing it every two days anyway at the moment as I'm so irregular - just did it lots more around the smiley face time)

Hope that's not too confusing! (Do you think I should do a test?)

Well another bfn:( I dreamt last night I got a pregnant so tested with fmu!!

I'm beginning to think there's something wrong with me, cd32 today and my boobs are definately hurting, definately bigger definately veiny and when squeezed a little spots of fluid appear on my nipples! I feel sick and my tummy is bloated. Also cycles have gone haywire, settled down quite quickly after the pill before and now there getting worse.

Anyone have any ideas what could be happening :(

1sttimetryer · 04/08/2011 06:53

Morning Everyone!

Sorry to hear about your bfp going i know what your going through, its horrible isnt it.
Ive decided im having a phantom pregnancy Grin
Im probably thinking that because i dont have a clue what is going on!!(all the symptoms, no period but no bfp!!)
the only thing you can do if wait i would have thought, i know its not nice waiting though.
Had an interesting conversation with mum last night, havent told her any of the problems ive been having with my periods, so last night i told her (missing out the fact wer ttc!) and she said that her normal periods were every 6-7 weeks (mum and dad have 5 children together so it doesnt sound like ttc was an issue)so its possible that is what will be normal for me too, she said that it looks like the pill has completely messed up my system though and that if i wait and relax(!) hopefully it will all sort itself out, feeling sooo much more hopeful about things now :)
Maybe just maybe i might be pg?! lol

goingmadtrying · 04/08/2011 20:16

Thanks 1sttimer

Still no af but defo think it's over this month I am considering giving up on ttc #3 as quite happy with my live and this is all putting lots of stress on things, I'd really like to lose some weight so think I'm going to concentrate on that for a while :)

good luck everyone

Sorry to hear that going , did you do a test? ive forgotton! Concentrating on something else is usually a good thing to do, wish i had something else to concentrate on!
Im going to wait til saturday and test again if AF hasnt come. if its negative im just going to have to try and take my mind of it and hope eventually my AF arrives, at this rate its still not going to have come by the time i go and have my tests, hopefully i will find out what is happening when i get the results back.
Good luck to you too :)

LondonLady30 · 04/08/2011 21:29

Hi ladies, am shaking writing this and feel awful sharing it given what you have both written but I've just done a test and its saying 1-2 Pregnant. I don't believe it so am doing another one. I've had period cramps for two days now so I'm positive I'm due on. How reliable are the clearblue sticks?
Feel very weird (never been pregnant before) but don't actually believe it can be true. And even if I am I know this is only stage one, it might not go through I'm well aware of that...
x

LondonLady30 · 06/08/2011 12:39

Hi going, I know you know way more about this than me as you already have 2 but I'm getting cramps constantly at the moment so could be that you're very early stages. Keep us posted.

My dh has had a very odd reaction to the news-we've had so many friends mc b4 that he won't talk about it or acknowledge it as he's so worried I'll be gutted if it doesn't go through. I'm very aware of the chances of mc but since it's only us two that know it would be nice for him at least to humour my endless chat about it all! But instead I'm supposed to pretend it's not happening. Think he just wants to be there to pick me up if the worst happens....

goingmadtrying · 06/08/2011 12:55

Thanks London sorry your dh not being as excited as you expected:(
come and chat to us about everything, I'm sure he'll catch up eventually

Tbh although I've had 2 already I don't actually remember much about the first few weeks lol I'm just waiting for my af if not here next week may go see gp:)

FerretMum · 06/08/2011 16:59

Hi. Sorry to but in... Just wanted to say Congratulations to LondonLady.
I have a three month old DD after years of trying & IF treatments and I remember my DH being ultra cautious when we finally got our BFP... I think part of it was to protect himself - we had a previous failed pg, and also he didn't want me to get too excited in case things went wrong... Between us I don't think we really believed there was a baby on the way until we got to twenty four weeks! I'm sure your DH is excited but is protecting himself from dissappointment and keeping himself strong to support you... There were times I wasn't sure if my DH wanted it as much as I did, but as time went on I realised he was delighted/excited/anxious about it as I was. Also, after so long trying and so many dissappointments, I found myself shocked and wondering if in was doing the right thing - it's a natural reaction, I guess!

Anyway, Take care of yourself and good luck to you all!

LondonLady30 · 07/08/2011 10:44

Thanks so much for that ferret. We were at a wedding last night and two people noticed I wasn't drinking and said something. I didn't mind as I just cautiously said 'no, not really, not properly' and they understood but said congrats quietly anyway.

Dh went nuts when I told him as he wants me to lie to people and say no, I'm not pregnant.

I appreciate what you're saying as I know he's exactly the same as your man but at the moment I'm feeling down about it all as I'm supposed to pretend it's not happening, can't tell anyone but also can't talk to him about it!

Thank god for MN!x

goingmadtrying · 10/08/2011 23:00

Evening ladies :)

hopefully there are a couple of you lurking!

Well cd38 today and still no af did afternoon fr yesterday and bfn! Spoke to gp who was lovely and advised me to test again Monday as may still be early to test if ov late, also going to do some blood tests at end of month Hmm. Really confused what's going on with my body, getting thrush again! And af symptoms pretty much gone now, time will tell
