Let's make some May babies

The end of July is drawing near; SWI with DP hasn't been as frequent as hoped; and I've decided to err on the side of caution.

So. Here's a thread for anyone else hoping to make a beautiful May 2012 baby.

I am 27 and TTC #1. Been on pill for an age so unsure of cycles. Only been trying for a couple of weeks - the more I type the more I note my wild optimism!!

Anyone else who knows more about this business than I do? Please come and give me some hope that a May baby might be at all possible :)

Tibbycat I'm a bit confused about ovulation too, testing sticks haven't given anything positive as yet and I'm on day 15 now. Don't normally pay much attention to ovulation signs as this is the first time I've thought about ttc in such depth, but like you, I'm not seeing any major changes in discharge when I'm sure there normally is quite a lot of variation through my cycle. Am thinking maybe it's all the unprotected sex that's messing things up down there!!! Ah well, will carry on regardless and hope for the best.

Hi Tibby... I'm by no means an expert but it sounds like you could be ov...maybe you ovd earlier than expected if you noticed EWCM a couple of days ago? Or maybe it's just spread out a bit with other symptoms??! Sorry not to be of more help!

Ugh TMI alert, sorry ladies!

I've been doing so much SWI that I've gone and got myself a UTI so all I want to do is curl up in a ball and die. Almost POAS this morning just to check if I was preggers so I could take antibiotics (I've got a stash as I'm prone it) if I wasn't. But am waiting it out, I think a BFN would make me really miserable, plus DH has made a no POAS rule unless AF is late and hides them from me. Although I know exactly where they are.

Going to the doctor tomorrow, so until then am climbing up the walls!

Oh dear chocolate, that's not good at all! I hope you are able to have a nice sit down with a blanket and a cranberry juice, and that you'll feel better soon!

Hi ladies - oh my sounds like a few are OV-ing at the moment - so "OPERATION SWI" for the next few days! i never noticed a change at all just simple maths of the amount of days before my AF is due! and the pains in my left side just couldnt be ignored was on point with my fertile dates!!!!
OHHHHHHH chocolate - im so sorry hope you get it sorted real soon!
also noticed we are on the countdown to the Lack of AF arriving real soon yeh so "OPERATION POAS" will commence soon also!!!!

The tww is getting to me, I can't wait til Saturday to see if AF makes an appearance. Though I'm pretty sure it'll be negative, I still have that little bit of hope!

I'm on cd8 and now realised that my husband is going away for the weekend with the boys (once a year) and it falls on CD 11, 12, 13

How bloody irritating. We're going to DTD on the morning of CD11 before he goes and the evening of CD13 when he's home and hopefully that will be OK. Don't know what day I ovulate but hopefully not then!

Yes I give Dh supplemets too, we are following the Marlyn Glenville supplement program. It costs more, I dont buy hers but the doeses she recommends from holland and barrett, but with my history of mc want any bean to be as healthly as possible with magical sticking powers .
ChocolateWindmill hope you feeling better soon, tell your docotor your ttc, some atibiotics are more baby friendly than others so s/he might give you a different type than usual.

Yes, that's right Heidi wedded tomorrow! Will also POAS, AF due on Friday, so tho I've done at least 4 tests already this month (though not today; actually exercised a TINY bit of restraint!!); this is the one that actually could come up... We'll see.... Still weeing loads, but don't seem to be noticing the symptoms so much any more. Would love a BFP obviously, but also being at a festival all weekend, not exactly thrilled at the prospect of juggling my mooncup in an icky festival toilet!!!
