New thread as Weimy's original thread is about to go BOOM!

We have coffee & cake for all, plus a small mountain of chocolate brownies and a stash of Wine for when AF comes a calling.

Hi all! I've been crazy busy with work so only just had chance to catch up with the new thread - and it definitely seems like a lucky one! Massive congratulations to carlita baby & freedom! So happy for you all! Smile Come back and tell us your stories of how you told your DPs - I love those stories!

Little update from me - I am currently 2, almost 3, days late! I must be mad not to have tested yet but just kept expecting af to appear at any moment! I have zero symptoms to report apart from being starving all the time, but I get that pre af anyway. If I wake up in the morning with still no af then I am definitely going to test - will keep you all posted!

Any news lugsie?

I did my test one morning before work whilst dp was still asleep- he had the day off! When I got the bfp I carried on as normal then got him a cup of coffee and put the test next to it, he woke up straight away and was really happy!!!

I was thinking if all these ways to tell DH, wrapping it as a gift etc but actually just woke him at 5 in the morning and said "it looks like you're going to be a daddy!" very boring I know but he was so excited it didn't really matter! Will try harder next time! Grin

Well I tested - BFN Sad I'm now 3 days late and haven't a clue what is going on. Will wait till tomorrow and test again if still no af. Feels like my body is teasing me.

Oh I love your stories of telling your DHs - I don't think I could act normal though, I'd probably scream the house down if I got a BFP! Just cannot wait till it happens for us. Have either of you told family/friends yet? I love the thought of keeping it a secret for just me & DH for a while at the beginning - just need my BFP now, fx tomorrow will be lucky for us!

Hi all - I was a lurker on the old thread and was going to join this new thread as I was on cycle 3, but before I could join I got my BFP Smile So have joined Carlita on her March thread instead, but couldn't resist popping back for a quick peek. Fx for tomorrow lugsie there's still a chance if AF hasnt got you!! We've told my mum as we were going out for a meal with her and some friends the evening I found out, so I didn't want her making any remarks about me not drinking. I've also told a friend at work. I'm finding it really hard keeping it to myself!!!

Well I'm getting my normal symptoms before AF arrives.... Sad

peapop I probably won't test until monday - but I think AF might arrive by then. Fingers crossed for us both though!

Any news from anyone? Think it's gonna be a few weeks at least before I have anything to moan/celebrate about, as that'll be the the first possible date when it'll be worth testing.

In the meantime, I'd love to know how you're all getting on. One quick (warning: amateur!) question... what's the earliest you've done a test... does it depend on the type of test you're doing? I know the first response ones are meant to be more sensitive so pick up preg earlier, but does it make that much difference??

Hi all, I had a teeny amount of brown spotting yesterday which was 7 dpo, thought it was the start of af as i usually start with spotting but I've had nothing else since then Hmm Really want to test but know its too early, hoping to hold out til Monday!

Anyone else due to test? How you getting on tw1nkle ? Any news from lugsie ?

Morning all, tested just now and bfn Sad hope I haven't jinxed the lucky thread. My temp dropped ever so slightly yesterday and again today so think af is def on her way but seems odd as usually by now I have had some very obvious spotting and my boobs are agony.

Fx for anyone else testing today and welcome mamma ! Smile

Ditto Peapop - BFN for me too - totally gutted - but like you, still no AF, so a glimmer of hope!
If AF stays away I'll test again on Thursday (I'm determined not to test until then!!!)

Hi all not much to update from me
29 ttc%231 cd14 ucl ???? Whatever my body decides!! Have started opk'ing today as my cycle has never been 28 days.
Got 5th appointment with consultant next week can't wait I'm not leaving her office until she gives me some proper answers and maybe chlomid!
Getting fed up now I need to try and get my positive head back on xx
