Wanted to join as good things seem to be happening on here I'm 29 tomorrow! Been ttc for 1 year got pcos already seeing a consultant.
cycle has no routine at all from 32 days to 47 days!!
I am using ovulation sticks as I never know if or when it's happening
Congrats to all that are bfp I'm hoping to get on the 2012 bus too

Hi littlejesamiah - welcome to the thred! I've been TTC since February last year - I had endometriosis, so that didn't help.
I use ovulations sticks too - but i'm not convinced they work!

Hi, can I join? we were TTC a 2011 baby but have missed that boat (unless I have a very prem one, and I'd rather not)! Anyway, AF came this morning. I'm cycle 5 as of today and started using CBFM last cycle. This is TTC baby number 2. littlejesamiah i found that the internet OPK sticks didn't show any +ves. Last month the CBFM showed me ovulating but did not pick up the LH surge (i.e. the same as the OPK sticks), so am interested to see what CBFM picks up this cycle. If you want a CBFM they are cheap on amazon as are the matching sticks.

Hi to all the newbies, hope your stay here is a short one!

I've got a persona monitor I bought off ebay for about £15 so if anyone is after a cheap one have a look on there. Apparently it?s made by clearblue and you can use the clearblue sticks in it.

Told myself I wouldn?t get too obsessed and use it in the first few months but now wouldn?t be able to use it anyway as I can?t distinguish which day is cd1 !!

Last proper AF was 8th June but had light bleed on 3rd July for 3 days and very light bleeding again today

Just popping my head round the door to let you all know that I had my first scan on Friday and everything seems fine, 12 weeks gone so a late January baby

Will keep checking up to see how you're all doing as I'm loving seeing you all get your BFP's. Thanks for all the support ladies, you really saved me from going completely bonkers whilst TTC x

Hello ladies, not MIA anymore, here I am :)

AF showed up a couple of weeks ago for me which wasn't altogether bad news, means post mc cycle was 38 days (as opposed to the 55 days I had had previously) so that's a bit more manageable. To those who have mentioned long and unpredictable cycles - I feel your pain! I have PCOS too. I have been taking Agnus Castus last cycle and this current one in attempt to bring a bit of order to the chaos so we'll see how that goes...

CD 15 today and sign of ovulation yet. I have been using OPKs everyday from CD8 so I can be sure (don't worry they are internet cheapies...I would be broke otherwise ) and using Fertility Friend again.

Feeling a lot more relaxed this cycle, partly as I am due to go away for pretty much all of August without DH (DS and I are off to do a grand tour of the relatives with my parents ) so If I don't ovulate before 31st July then we're out until September anyway!

Wow sprinkles, that's encouraging . I have to say, coming off the pill has really boosted the ol' libido - I generally feel better for getting it out of my system as a decade of hormone control is a long time!

I guess these things are completely unpredictable to start with and everyone seems to be different. I've heard quite a few negative things about coming off the pill I was on and that it would take ages for normal cycles to return. For now, I'm just enjoying not having to remember to pop a pill every day - I'm rubbish at remembering (a wonder I'm not preggers already haha :S).

I'm new to TTC as my DS was unplanned. I'm confused as to the best way to go. Is it best to chart or use OPKs?
DP and I have just decided to start TTC and my cousin advised me to come here(she is a mumsnetter but not TTC).

Evening ladies and welcome to the newbies!

I'm 5dpo and symptom spotting like mad TMI alert but have had yellow tinted cm today?! Loads of it too, don't remember having this during other cycles. Did the worst thing and googled it and apparently it's an early pregnancy sign! I'm also totally worn out, have been coming home the past couple of afternoons and dozing on the sofa and despite that I can still barely keep my eyes open. Have had waves of nausea too despite feeling starving hungry all day too?! Driving myself mad ha ha!

Peapop just to add to your symptom spotting madness, I had exactly that with my (mc) BFP and also had that a lot when pg with DS. Last BFP that's the thing that made me wonder - last cycle (BFN) I didn't have that at all.... Fingers crossed

Not much to report here, CD 16 and no ovulation yet according to temps and OPKs.... ho hum.
