Just had a conversation with my dp about the whole ttc experience, it's nice to know he feels the same way and I know I'm so lucky to have such a supportive fella. We have agreed that this month we'll try without trying if that makes sense No opks, no counting dates (although I am going to temp still as gp advised me to keep that up) no new fads just planning a fun month full of lots of swi tee hee

My update is that I'm CD28 today. I saw the doctor and my cd5 test was right in the middle of normal, though my iron is low, and I've had a cd22 test taken, so waiting on that result. I do worry whether I am ovulating properly or not, and I have been so stressed at work the last few months.
Was feeling very hopeful for this month, I finished a big project, had a week off with DH right at the crucial time, so lots of SWI just when it should be!
I think I ov'd on cd18, which would move AF's due date to 1st/2nd Aug. I've had almost no symptoms, and am really feeling that this is, yet again, not our month. cracked and POASd this evening but BFN. But my oldest friend, who has a little girl who's about 18 months just announced today that she's expecting her second in Jan - she sent an e-mail, and while I'm really pleased for her, I was about ready to burst into tears at work.

Sorry this is so me, me, me, but like peapop it is hitting me this month. I know I shouldn't give up as AF hasn't arrived yet, but I'm getting my usual pre-AF symptoms (I so don't need my skin to break out just now, but it is!!) and I almost don't want to hope, because then it'll be worse when AF does come. growl.

sorry for all the misery - I know I have nothing to moan about compared to what some of you ladies have had to deal with/are dealing with and taking this long is perfectly normal. will try to put that hopeful hat on and think positive thoughts about holidays, and next month, and maybe this weekend!

But if when I do get that BFP, I can promise - you will all hear about it!!

Sorry to hear AF got a few of you, fingers crossed for the next cycle. Your not out til AF arrives wouldbe so keep possitive, i know its so hard to do that sometimes though.
Currently on cd53, my longest cycle yet, got loads of things going on with my body and when speaking to a friend she told me their all possible early pregnancy symptons, (most of which she had when pregnant with her twins which she has just had)dont know when AF is due obviously so gave in and poas and bfn, grrr, so non the wiser really, so will just keep waiting. so wish i could have a 'normal' cycle, its getting me down!

Ive really got to go away :(. I really dont want to :(. Im so ill and all dp says is his 'sure' i wont be ill all week and if i dont ill regret it on tuesday when im right as rain sat at home alone. Now if we were going all inclusive to the maldives he may be right but its bloody a caravan on a site 5 yes 5 hours away . We dont even have a chuffing bedroom we are in the livingroom 'make up' bed thing. So when im freezing one min they will see me like a eskimo which is fine but then when im boiling and would walk around in the buff at home i dont think dss, mil, fil really want to see that!

I went to paths today and they took loads of samples (suprised im not a size 6 now) i fainted once, fell over twice after, then they kept me untill dp finished work to pick me up. I dont mind needles and have had blood taken before so as much as dp would like to think im a drama queen and dont like needles its false. Im truely ill and have been all week :(.

Thats a big moan im aware but as mentioned ill be away for the week so should be the last :). Maybe dp is right ill come back and tell you what a horrendous wonderful time ive had.

Good luck to those with AF due while im away ill keep my fingers crossed for some BFPs :)

Anyone heard from twinkle? Wonder if she has any news...

After a couple of down days I'm feeling a lot brighter about the whole ttc thing today. Had a long talk with DH last night and he assured me he wants this as much as I do and we'll just keep on trying until it happens. So I'm ready to jump back in the saddle, so to speak Currently CD5 so just waiting for pesky af to sod off so we can get on with it!

Keeping my fx at the mo, spent all day feeling sooo sick, and dizzy and weird tugging sensations in my tummy, either im coming down with something or im pregnant. Boobs are killing me! And really swollen hmmmm !!!

My AF is driving me mad. When I joined this thread on Wed I had light spotting which I normally get an hour or so before it starts properly. But then it stopped and only today is it heavy. So that has pushed my ovulation date back a few days so looks like this month is out too as DP is due back at work the day before I am meant to be fertile. Grrrr

Hello Folks

I hope you are all well. i disappeared, trying not to think about it. Who was I trying to kid?!

Update on my stats - AF was due 11th July but kindly arrived on the 7th making it another 24 day-er. Which means tomorrow AF is due if follow same pattern.

Pretty sure I ovulated this month as body seemed to go through the motions. Lots of 'action' a hem, at the alleged optimal times.

For the last week I have had very bad backache, large boobs and very moody and tired - which could be PMT but I usually only have one 'black' day when I lose all patience and sense of humour! I could just have a lurgey though, its hard to tell - so waiting for AF to appear...will do test on Sunday if no show and still have 'symptoms' (symptons which could all be in my little bonce :) )

On the medical front, my other half frogmarched me to the docs last week saying he wasn't prepared to wait another two months to be referred. God love him coming over all masterful! So got appt with gynae on 18th Aug. I'm pretty sure I only ovulate half the time, so hopefully more tests and then Clomid, if appropriate.

Meanwhile, a very good friend who has been trying a year told me she was pregnant today, so am over the moon for her - good things happening to good people is rare!

Day 24 been and almost gone...

Massive boobs - but it has been known before for AFs.

3 huge spots appeared on my face today too and never get them, but could well be change in moisturiser.

Have woken up every night thus week needing to wee and not getting back to sleep for a while, but prob mind playing tricks.

Aah well, hope springs eternal! Good luck all post ovuationers xxx

POASed this morning and BFN, but no AF yet - but my cycles can be unpredictable, so may not be due til Mon/Tues. DH and I agreed this morning we'd rather be pessimistic about this month otherwise it's too disappointing. we'll see. going to try to wait til Mon morning before POAS again, so fx no AF by then.

all my pre-AF symptoms seem to have gone away, but I think I'm just reading things in!!

lugsie I'm feeling brilliant thank you for asking, getting used to the sore boobies and apart from that just get gradually more bloated all day and flop in to bed with hippo- esque grace! No sickness or any of that stuff so very lucky!
toddle I'm so sorry to hear you are so ill! I totally agree (and I love camping) that yes, you'd regret missing an exotic holiday but really? Caravan holiday? I don't think I would regret it! Must just be because he loves you though! Are you still in the playsuit?!

AF got me today, so when someone re-does the stats, please scoot me to the end again! but I can use mine to explain.
my new stats are:

so that gives my nickname, that I'm 32 years old, trying to conceive baby no.1, this is our 8th month since DH (dear husband) and I started trying, my usual cycle length and then when my next period is due - so we can cheer each other on at the difficult times and be hopeful for each others dates!

so, AF arrived today. boo. but actually I was much more down about it a couple of days ago (before it happened, which is weird, and goes so show my mind may be going....) today I actually feel quite energetic and enthusiastic for next month. I am so much less stressed at work now than I was, and I feel very positive about the next few months.
