Well its about time you had a new thread.
I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your trying to conceive and say that it might take weeks months or years, but you won't find a better group for support.
We have all been through the same experinces and talking to someone who has felt the same makes a world of difference.
You will all get your BFP's soon and in the meantime, lets try and keep as calm and de-stressed as possible.

Hi aprilgirl and welcome to the nutters group.

Sorry girls, I'm off home now

FirstSaintNikkilass · 02/12/2005 16:00

Enjoy your weekend and hope you feel better.

FirstSaintNikkilass · 02/12/2005 16:04

Hi Aprilgirl... I am new to this board but these ladies have already made me feel v. welcome.

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 02/12/2005 16:40

Hiya all.
Slink- Wonderful, fantastic, amazing news!!! xxxxx
FirstsaintNikki- I'm a fellow endo sufferer too! Due to have 3rd lot of surgery soon. It's not pleasant, incredibly painful but hey ho!
Btw, Welcome and hugs to the new members here.! x

FirstSaintNikkilass · 02/12/2005 16:52

Hi XmasAngel
Yes i do have endo.. although thank god, it hasn't caused me too much of a problem this year. are you having a laperoscopy to do diathermy??

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 02/12/2005 17:08

I've had 2 laproscopies and 1 diathermy so far. This time not sure what they have planned. Don't care what it is as long as it eases it lol.
They've tried everything and are running out of options (everything has'nt made much difference and it's getting worse month by month).
Heatpads and hot baths are my saviour!

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 02/12/2005 17:09

meant to say not sure what they'll do this time. 1st laproscopy was a nose around and the second did the diathermy.

FirstSaintNikkilass · 02/12/2005 17:13

Yes same here. 1st lap resulted in steriods which made me gain 2stone! which I have never shifted. 2nd diathermy.. then was on pill 3 months then AF then pill 3 months then AF etc.. came off after a just over a year I think to clear my body and so far not too bad. Altough laps left me with nice helipad on my tummy.

Good luck with the op I hope you get sorted soon, I totally sympathise. x

are you ttcing?

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 02/12/2005 17:20

Lol at helipad. I got lucky. Have a very pretty pattern in my belly button (they through there) and also 2 lovely little crosses on my tum. So far I've been on hormone pills, contaception pills, pills to stop you bleeding etc and none worked. I stopped taking the pill in Jan (this year) conceived very quickly again (6 wks and ds2 was 8 wks, very lucky for endo sufferers) but m/c in April. We've been ttc'ing since and nothing (a possible m/c in August but not sure). The dr thinks where it's got to the worst it's ever been, there could be a chance it's affecting fertility. Be glad when it's all done lol.
How are with it? Are you ttc atm?

FirstSaintNikkilass · 02/12/2005 17:27

Not too bad with it I am lucky as far as that is concerned.
m/c last week but conceived within the first 4 days of trying! so had no problems conceiving.

Will consider when to ttc after Xmas and next AF.

I do hope they get you sorted soon..

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 02/12/2005 17:29

great news ash! just popping on before parents come down then i'll not be able to talk

mincepee · 03/12/2005 11:31

Good morning......

Am feeling low today. This is happeneing more often. I want my life back and feel as though I am getting all wrapped up in this TTC lark. I do want a baby but can't help but wonder if it will ever happen. It is just taking so long and I feel as though time is running out. DH doesn't seem so concerned. I am sure it's because he already has two children and would not be too bothered if we never had any. Don't get me wrong he does want us to have a child but it just doesn't affect him as much.

Why can't I just have a normal conception like so many other women? Life is so pissin' cruel.
Aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

carlychristmas · 03/12/2005 14:32

mincepee keep your chin up hun i know its hard i feel like giving up most of the time and keep thinking i should just be grateful for what i have. please feel free to cat me anytime ((((((hugs)))))) xx

Atomicstockinghanger · 03/12/2005 17:04

Mincepee - Oh, hun, try not to be too sad. It will happen when it is meant to. Just think, you now know the possible reason for the difficulty you have been having, so things might look up in the new year. New year, new start, new baby. I'm sure DH is just as keen as you, but men just show it in a different way. Men being men put having a family lower down on their wish list, and thats all men. They don't have the hormonal drive us ladies have.
Its normal for you to have down days and high days. I still go through them. Some days I am positive and think ahead to my course next year and my training, then others I hit a real downer and all I want is my baby and I couldn't care less about the career I want. Each day brings a different emotion. The hormones you are on will probably make this worse too.
But remember if you want to scream or rant we're here to take it. We will listen.
You deserve the best hun, and I know we mock each other (well, you mock me ) but I really mean it. You are a fab person and deserve all the things you wish for

We're all fab people on here! We all deserve the things we wish for...

mygarland · 03/12/2005 22:15

Oh mincepee, I can't beleive I missed u by 10 seconds. I left after I posted, really wish I could've been there for u. It really is awful ttc sometimes, I remember when when we were ttc no3 and how hard it was waiting then losing one, but I can't imagine how it must feel ttc for years and losing more, I really feel for you honey. but like ASH said now you have identified a problem and now it's as if you've gotta start again no matter what's happened before, even tho that's hard. I think you know how you feel (ttc taking longer than expected) and maybe perhaps relax and stop thinking about it, take your mind of it by having pampering (eg) then it could happen! I know it's hard to take cos ppl said that to me ie it'll happen, let nature take course etc and it feels patronising but it really does help to take your mind of it!

Men are very different that's why sites like this don't work for men they don't show things and don't talk about things, so we don't now how they feel.

And remember I'm sure this goes for most of us when we say CAT us anytime! Love and hugs, x

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 04/12/2005 08:31

Monring all.
Mincepee- {{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} It'll happen hun. As ASH said at least there's now a reason. New year, new begininngs. x
ASH- Fab news hunny!!!!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
To everyone else xxxxx

HumphreysCorner · 04/12/2005 10:21

Hope you are all having a relaxing weekend!

Much love

((xx))

mincepee · 04/12/2005 18:03

Thanks for your lovely encouraging messages. I just needed to sound off and it really does help doesn't it. I know you guys are right it's just that sometimes I need a shove in the right direction (thinking positive).
I have perked up a bit since the message. Been checking out new motors today. We are going to buy a new HONDA FRV. V. nice It's weird, but a bit of retail therapy does help.
DH is being really nice. It's our shaggaversary today and we will be going for a romantic thai meal. He got me a lovely outfit from monsoon today too........ Am I really shallow?
He's getting it tonight

mincepee · 04/12/2005 18:05
