Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, Wine - for the first 2 weeks and Brew - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Liliana (31) ttc#1 ucl 28 af due 26th March

(I have left out the CD as it is never up to date and all we really want to know is when are people testing!)

Reallea · 30/06/2011 19:25

You could jump the driver there's gotta be a reason this bus is so lucky

skjifox · 30/06/2011 19:30

Thank you all so much, I'm on a ttc group on facebook aswell, and just feel like I need the weekend to get my head straight so going to have a break from it all, so if I'm not around for anymore bfps this weekend then congratulations in advance :) xxx

180 · 30/06/2011 20:47

Evening all. Many congrats on all those BFP's. Skjifox, sorry to hear your news.

Can I join? Am ttc#3, never been on a bus before though!

180 ttc#3 AF due 8th July ish

sooo.. feeling bloated and pregnant. How early can I test?

m4z · 30/06/2011 20:58

Hi everyone,

Congrats to all the bfp's

I need some advice please.... Am 4/5 days over my due date, done 2 tests-negative :-(

Am wondering what to do? My cycle is like clockwork and the latest it's ever been is 30 days!!!

I feel weak and tired, sore boobs and just don't know what to do. I don't think I can do another test again, it's soooo emotional, I feel drained praying for a positive but either way I just want to know.

Has this happened to anyone? Any advice please?

stuffthenonsense · 30/06/2011 21:15
  1. I tested today, AF due 5th, so if my personal experience is anything to go by then sunday or monday with a first response test

M4z, which tests are you using? It may be that a more sensitive test would be more accurate.

goingmadtrying · 30/06/2011 21:30

Hi m4z I'm also late and had a bfn I've spokent to dr today and she suggested I have to wait until missed more than one period, she advised do another test in a week and then wait to see if period comes next month

hth

MeconiumHappens · 30/06/2011 21:38

M4Z this happened to me a couple of months ago and after much googling it really can go either way. Sometimes its just a long cycle/delayed ovulation etc and more rarely its a shy bfp. Fingers crossed for you, although i got my hopes up a little too much really and wish i had just waited, i had lots of 'symptoms' too :( Best plan is to leave it a week (i know! it seems like an age!) and retest the if af isnt here. daily testing is soul destroying, a week will brng an answer. Good luck

Relaxbaby · 30/06/2011 22:58

Stuff- I used a predictor and a cheapy one. Can't remember the name. Which ones are more sensitive? I was going to get a clearblue one, are they more sensitive?

Goingmad-Did your doc not suggest a blood test? Reading of Internet some people suggest that?

Meco-yes it's totally soul destroying. I just felt so drained after the test. I'm not doing another for at least a few days.

I just want to know either way as until I get af I can't use cb monitor, don't know about ovulations etc. Aaaahh, I just need answers.

Relaxbaby · 30/06/2011 23:31

Just so you know it's m4z, I had to change my username.

180 · 01/07/2011 14:26

Thanks stuff. Didn't have to go through this last time as number 2 was a surprise baby :). I'm not sure if I love or hate this malarky. It's quite exciting but if I'm not I'm forgoing an awful lot if wine!

stuffthenonsense · 01/07/2011 16:01

The test I used was first response early response. I used them with DD4 and got a - until about 5 days late. This one though, + at AF-5, ha I am now wondering if it picked it up because it could be twins!!! I'm 38 and 5th pregnancy so its a possibility I guess.

180 · 01/07/2011 18:42

Omg hadn't thought about twins. Am defo feeling pregnant now and a bit sick already. One baby is hard enough at a time! I'm 37 so not far behind you! From. What -'ve heard with each pregnancy the symptoms get stronger but that could be age too, I suppose. Will try and hold out until Monday but I strongly expect I know the answer. We shall see!

orangehead · 01/07/2011 20:18

due on sunday but feel pretty sure Im not this month Sad, tempted to do a test just to confirm to myself that Im not. Otherwise I will keep thinking well I feel like Im not but just maybe. Does that make sense? Think I am going mad

emmaloupolman · 01/07/2011 21:33

Can i join i came on saturday on my wedding day Sad
ttc#2(29) cycle 23 ucl 28 -43 as on clomid af due 23rd july

Reallea · 01/07/2011 23:25

Are twins supposed to be more common the older you are? I'm 35. accidentally put 36 on stats as forgot to put actual age rather than age in march

ShaggingWithIntent · 02/07/2011 07:45

Hi all!!

Can someone update the stats please (on iPhone so a little tricky to format!!!) I got a few faint lines on Internet strips on Wed and Thurs and then a "Pregnant 1-2" on my CBD yesterday morning!!! So excited :)

Where do I go now?!?!

BitsyVonMuffling · 02/07/2011 08:05

Can I hop aboard? We're ttc number 3, have been pill-free for 3 months now and have high hopes this month so fingers crossed :) Not due on til next Saturday but am already driving myself mad symptom spotting, one thing that's really got me wondering is that since yesterday I am just peeing all the time Blush. I can't remember this being an early symptom with my other 2, but my god it made a trip to the loo-free park difficult yesterday Hmm Good luck to everyone, realistically when shall I test? Am dying to, but I know all I'll get from it is wasting a few quid.

Bollocks2u · 02/07/2011 10:47

Another newbie.
Age 42, ttc no. 3, first month of trying, AF due next Sat, triplets in family and wishing for them for myself Grin Being so very old increases my chances. Feeling sick as a pig, but have been poorley for the last week, with fever, antibiotics etc, so any bean surviving this will be a tough 'un.

emmaloupolman · 02/07/2011 11:32

Congrats shaggy next step is to call your gp and get it confirmed

Byrnsie30 · 02/07/2011 11:32

Hiya all,

Had a little trouble adding a new comment to this thread this morning - fx this one will work!

SWI Congratulations!! I think you have been on a few buses with me now so it's definately your turn! And I hope you will keep us updated, I may even encounter you on a PG bus if I'm lucky!! (Is there such a bus BTW?)

Relax I agree that your best option is to wait a week. I would also use a digital. I have used First Response and cheapy pee in a cup tests before, they were fine, but I definately prefer CB digital - they are so clear. Amazon £7.99 for 2 Clear Blue Digital tests -free p&p - best price I've found!!

Those debating about twins. I have heard that as you get older there is more of a chance of releasing more than one egg per cycle, and therefore increasing your chances of conceiving twins!

My CB tests arrived from Amazon this morning and I shall now have to increase the will power so that I don't test before 7th July (CD 35) Heeelllpp!!!

Liliana1 · 02/07/2011 16:57

SWI woohoo!! So pleased you got your BFP :) scope out the next bus for us as let us know - Hoping we will join you soon x
