Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, - for the first 2 weeks and - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Ah, sorry to hear that Lilliana- are you certain you ov'ed this month. In hindsight last month I don't think I did, and that always seems to result in a much longer cycle for me.

Darn, so sorry Liliana, came on early especially to check.

Well done mrscog, if you've had a faint positive you could always go to the doc for a blood test don't forget

A quick question for you all (I've asked this on another thread as well, sorry!)

I'm trying to work out when I can test. My cycle last time was 40 days but then ov sticks show I had LH surge on about CD19 this time so it surely can't be 40 days again. Just come off Pill recently so my body is still making its mind up!

So when do you think I can test... 2 weeks after CD18, or CD40 (which would be about 3 weeks after ov)? .... Sooo impatient.

Hi minipie I think a luteal phase is normally max 16 days (do you know luteal phase from other months using opks?). So say you ovulated on cd20 then cd36 is the last possible day af could be due?

hi minipie - are you charting? If so that should tell you when your test date is.......... otherwise, I would go with what Pomme said if you can possibly hold out that long.

Hi SWI and pomme no I'm not charting, just using OPKs. It's my first month using them so I don't know my luteal phase. pomme that helps, thanks, I will test on CD36 (if I can hold off that long... !). Got some cheapy pg tests so don't mind wasting a couple.

Tesco are the best tests imho and not very dear either.

I'm going to go and buy a cbdigi to use Friday morning, I might start to believe it then, try again in a few days Liliana hun, you might of just ov'ed later than you thought perhaps?

Your right Setara, seeing the words was sooooo much worse than not getting a line.

Skjifox you could be right, I had 2 temp dips and rises a few days apart so think ff is confused too as I get one date on the advanced setting and another on the research setting

Still no AF - 4 days late is unheard of for me so something is up! Going to use my amazon ones until Friday and then if I still have no AF I'll use my other CB digi.

Sorry for being so me me me lately - I will try to snap out of it!

Don't worry Liliana - the 2WW is so utterly frustrating and can get a bit all consuming!

I'm sitting here trying to tell myself that testing tomorrow morning wouldn't be a bad thing even though I will only be 10DPO when really I know there is minimal chance of a BFP finding it really tough

Lilliana - sorry to hear your frustration. I don't know what situation you've been in last month, but when I had chem PG it lengthened my next cycle to 35 days, so I do think various factors including stressing about ttc can probably affect things.

Liliana I had that FF confusion last cycle, in the end the "Research" setting had it right considering when I got my BFP. Interestingly the "Research" and "Fertility Awareness" settings agreed with each other, but the "Advanced" rebelled and decided I ovulated much earlier , I guess the next few days will tell you, but I feel your pain

5DPO here and crampy with extremely sore boobs...had this last cycle too but for all I know this could just be normal pill-free post ovulation symptoms...ahhh hate love the 2ww

liliana dont give up hope yet.....with DD4 i tested on my due day, bfn, then, a week later, it was the result i wanted, sometimes the hormones just dont build up as quickly as the tests suggest they might.

Poppy thanks for sharing that info, at least I'm not the only one.

If research is right I'm 4 days late, if advanced is right I will be 14 dpo tomorrow - does your luteal phase always stay the same? Mine seems to be 14 days so maybe that explains it. Never had to think about it before and assumed the cycle length was the same irrespective of when you ov'd. Will see what happens in the morning fx stuff but feels like AF is on it's way.

Lil I did another budgens test yesterday and got a bfn. Freaked out a bit and did another test cbearlyresult this morning BFP. Friend had late clearbluedigi BFP when I was UTD with DS so could still be good news but not good news if you feel AF coming on.

Liliana been just reading past the last few pages and really feel for you.
Don't know if it's similar but last month I'd had a faint line and got excited about being pregnant and just got a bit ahead of myself, started planning and dreaming. Anyways, tested over the next few days again and got 3 BFNs in a row but AF wasn't there after 3 days. In hindsight, I'm unsure if it was a chemical pregnancy or just me and my body being so desperate for a baby that I kind of 'held on' to my period, if that makes sense? In the end, I got in the bath, forced myself to relax (I'm quite stressed at work, a month off getting married and coming back to the UK for the first time in a few years- so a lot had built up) and told myself, 'come on AF, it's okay for you to arrive' and the next morning she was there.

I hope to goodness that it's not like that for you and you get a BFP really soon. Just really felt for you and thought maybe it might be stress and really wanting a baby or a chem preg.

As for me, AF due today and got the usual pimple on my chin that I get, am craving sweet things...guess it's not my month again. Ah well, at least I'll be able to drink at my wedding and not having morning sickness on the cripplingly longhaul flights.
