There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

My friend reckons she got pg the day after af left so we too will be having swi from tonight. bit weird with all my family here but got room next to Dad who snores like a train! Dh seems to be nearly better thank goodness.

dizzy hope you're feeling ok today. know family stuff like that can be really tough to deal with.

Ah had a lovely day! Been for a 9 mile walk alongside Lake Windermere, glorious sunshine, legs officially stretched! Got some sun. Now relaxing with a gin :-)
Just watched Dh read Dnephew a bedtime story, made me cry - he's so good with him! I so want to give him a child so he can be a Daddy himself!
Weirdly am still spotting, not sure if that's what happens for me during an anovulatory cycle?!

Spent today wandering around a local nature reserve thing, gazing hungrily at women with bumps or babies... Therr has been plenty of sex though.

How are your weekends going?

Bexamundo · 01/05/2011 21:46

Dh is tipsy, let's just hope It's the right side and there'll be bd in a bit and not snoring!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 01/05/2011 21:55

I made certain we did it before dinner, as I knew DP would be too alcohol-happy afterwards!

Bexamundo · 02/05/2011 07:33

Hooray Dh was tipsy but still capable! [cwink]

PatientGriselda · 02/05/2011 07:36

Yay! I need to do it this morning if in going to do it today or tomorrow. Sadly, DP is still snowing sweetly and will probably do so for hours yet.

It's amazing really that the optimism keeps going, after the miserable depression of the end of the previous cycles!

Bexamundo · 02/05/2011 23:07

Laughing at dp "snowing". How was your day?
I had a lovely walk which.ended at a pub (yay) and a train.ride home. Dnephew being v cute. Mega tired now, bit emotional about lack of baby/*?ovulation. Also stressed cos I spent about half an hour rubbing at my eye to remove a contact which does not appear to be there!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 03/05/2011 07:09

Oops! Snoring, obviously.

I also had a lovely walk that ended up at a pub! Sadly it was a pub full of people with adorable newborns (or so it seemed to me). Spent the next few hours trying to create a pregnancy by sheer force of will. Have been shagging intently far earlier this cycle, so am hoping that might turn out to be the crucial difference that results in a glorious bfp!

Bexamundo · 03/05/2011 22:25

Dh has just promised me some swi ;) bring on bedtime!
Had another nice day but my.vocal chords are worn out from singing baa baa black sheep 10 times to Dnephew and other nursery rhymes to keep him happy up the hills. Finished in another pub where they sell real ale in 'bats', 3 1/3 pints to sample them. I can't tolerate wheat so I volunteered to drive. Enjoying a cider now.
Not heard from my friend, assuming she's falling apart and sending texts of affection and support.
How were your days ladies?

Nephew sounds sweet!

Am home now after a long weekend away, and spent last night in a fug of baby dreams. Feeling quite anxious and sad this morning at the possibility that I will never get there :(

Bexamundo · 04/05/2011 07:58

Try to stay positive! Remember this is your ironic bfp cycle! If not, at least you'll be closer to some answers soon.
I've decided to give it a good crack this time (more swi last night!) but if I don't clearly ovulate this time will demand more tests and ask for gynae referral.
In the present time, after years if suggesting it my dsis has persuaded us to climb Hellvellyn. Am nervous about heights and she insists we must.climb Striding edge. It's been nice knowing you guys!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 04/05/2011 08:32

Oh cool! Do you do lots of hilly stuff? DP and I climbed Helvellyn a couple of years ago, with DP insisting on bloody Striding Edge as well. There's a tiny little track down the aide of the edge itself though, which I fell upon with sobs of relief. It's probably narrower than the Edge itself, but feels so much safer that I would heartily recommend it if you realise you don't fancy the Edge after all :)

I just averted my eyes from DP prancing along the top.

Bexamundo · 04/05/2011 20:31

We are hilly types but one week a year! We come to the Lakes each May and.climb a few hills. It's my hare brained sis who's been banging on about this for ages! Walked the old man a few times and scafell 3 years ago. every year "shall we do helvellyn this year?". Think we've cured her now. she too insisted on bloody striding edge, I don't do well with heights! I decided to tackle it head on, faced ky fears. they started calling me Dora as in Dora the explorer cos I just went got it! Felt ok during was only when I looked down on it I realised just how hairy it was! Man I ache now!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 05/05/2011 09:04

I love the Lakes, and wish I'd been there lots more than the paltry few times I've managed. Don't mock ( oh ok, mock if you must) but I actually have a baby carrier backpack thing hidden in the shed in anticipation of the time we can plonk a baby in it and go walking. It is sadly cobwebby...

Bexamundo · 05/05/2011 18:18

I have dibs on my sister's from.next year on cos I think Dnephew will insist on walking! At one point today he did, sat down and refused to move. Turned out he was waiting for my Dad/his Grampy to catch up! Started walking when Dad turned up!
Still trying to.be positive that this is the month!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 05/05/2011 20:51

And me. FFS, it MUST be this month. It is just getting too depressing each failed cycle.

Still,I suppose next cycle I'll be able to distract myself with whatever happens frOm the hospital appointment.

PatientGriselda · 05/05/2011 20:52

How are you getting on, though? Are you feeling ok?

Bexamundo · 05/05/2011 21:28

I am SO sore can barely walk! Still insisting on some kind of bd/'alternative method' tonight. Am cd9, who knows? Might be the right time!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 05/05/2011 21:54

Oh my God, I have no idea what you mean by "alternative method". I may regret asking, but what on earth...? I hope it is the right time, whatever you are doing :o

Bexamundo · 05/05/2011 22:49

Ha ha, I saw it on here, also in taking charge of your fertility. Sometimes the pressure of sex means performance difficulties, where the functional side of the hand job does not (apparently) so he can provide a sample into a sterile cup and we will use a syringe. Not actually tried it yet! But tonight might be ideal since physical side of bd may be difficult due to pain!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 06/05/2011 07:08

And...?

Just heard DP is away all next week for work. I bet that that will be the beginning of a fertile time for me. Grrr.

Bexamundo · 06/05/2011 07:39

No joy last night, didn't have the oomph even for alternative method! Have been promised real deal when.we get home today. No anticipating ovulation til.Monday so plenty of bd over weekend methinks!
Do you get ewcm so you can track your fertile time? Sorry to hear about dp going away, that sucks!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 06/05/2011 08:02

I don't really get ewcm, and get very bizarre temp charts socant do that either. Blood tests showed I ovulated for that cycle recently, so I assume that I ovulate generally. It's just hard to know when, which means a need for masses of sex all the time. DP travelling for work a lot is only for the next couple of months, but it's just a pain at the moment.

Are you still in the Lakes?
