Hi livin how late are you? If there's enough hcg then you should get an ok result this eve but if you get a bfn you'll just be annoyed with yourself that you didn't save it for fmu so if you can I'd wait until then and test first thing in the morning. let us know how you get on!

livin sorry for the acronym...fmu = first morning urine. Your urine and hormone levels are much more concentrated in the morning so you are more likely to pick up the hcg/pregnancy hormone in the morning when it's still early days than nat any other time of the day. It took me until 7 days late to get a + result on a digital test, though I got one on a First response at 4 days late.

3 days late is a good sign here's hoping for some good news!

Takes my mind off the horrid cold I've picked up from DH... feeling bit sorry for myself with nose streaming and sneezing fits and back to work tomorrow albeit for a short week!

Oh vegas so sorry to hear about the bfn...if it's any consolation my internet cheapies didn't prove to be that great tbh as the lines were sooo faint on them I only saw it when I'd used another type of test at the same time and knew it should be there IYSWIM? The Tesco own brand were quite good and a lot cheaper than FR, digital etc. Hope you get some answers soon!

Sorry about the cm vegas here's hoping it's implantation but you know your body better than anyone else...but then it's not totally over until AF makes a full and proper appearance!!

Guess it's another night of being patient vegas ...there's far too much waiting in this conception lark for an impatient person like me! 2ww, then the wait for 12 week scan and I'm sure after that it feels like more waiting...though yet to experience any of that yet as this is first time ever being pg!

Blue in my experience last time you wait what seems like forever for the 12 week scan then time skips along quite nicely until you get to about 37 weeks then you enter another twilight zone where time stands still! Gets even worse if you go over your due date by any distance (DS was 16 days late I felt like I was living the same day every day, very strange)

Waiting at the beginning drives you crazy then waiting at the end does too all definitely worth it though

You're right peapop and vegas ...despite the waiting I've been feeling remarkably chilled about it all but then panic that I'm being too relaxed and not preparing myself for the fact that something could go wrong IYSWIM. Think I'm just going to try and stay positive and enjoy it all though...worrying would drive me insane (and DH for that matter!)
