vegas don't give up yet I got a BFN on day 24 then a BFP on day 28.

sevendwarves · 17/04/2011 12:43

deafworm I hope your dd2 gets better soon. It's a good sign that AF is late, other than a faint line at 10dpo I didn't get a BFP until 8 days after AF was due.

orangehead · 17/04/2011 12:46

Hope all well for your scan tomorrow Mickey
Hope dd2 gets better soon deaf

Deafworm · 17/04/2011 13:31

thanks all, she is ok in herself just bright red cheeks with a spotty rash, will ring dr for a chat in the morning i think and see if they want to see her.

good luck getting a scan mickey, that must be great to be able to put your mind at rest so easily

i think i will have torn my hair out by then seven!

fingers crossed for that bfp soon for you vegas

xstitch · 17/04/2011 13:49

deafworm I was exposed when I was pregnant with dd. I was told it was unusual for adults not to have immunity. fx for you.

peapop · 17/04/2011 18:13

Oh spidookly I'm so sorry, agree with others tho its not all over til its over!
mickey hope all goes well, let us know if you feel you can.
Just have to say its brilliant knowing you ladies are here going through the same thing, I honestly find it invaluable Smile you are all brilliant Grin

Deafworm · 17/04/2011 18:37

thanks xstitch, thats good to hear, its so frustrating knowing i could be worrying about nothing at all or i could be ignoring something important!

its nice being able to think aloud isnt it peapop, dh is away for the next 4 months so im trying not to be too neurotic in the time we do get to talk!

weimy · 17/04/2011 19:46

Sorry about BFN's and AF's :(

Blue what a strange Dr!!!

BlueCrane · 17/04/2011 21:50

spidookly how are you getting on? Hope you're not feeling too rough?!

micky hope you get to have a scan tomorrow...amazing you can get it so easily!

Hang in there deafworm !

And to everyone else...hang in there waiting for your bfp or AF...took me til 4 days after AF due to get a bfp and a week until it showed on a digi (which I must say is the most reassuring test...none of this peering at lines!!)

olismum23 · 17/04/2011 22:02

scuffle · 18/04/2011 00:38

Hi Ladies,

Good luck Mickey, sorry Spidookly & Olismum- Fx we'll be celebrating together next month.

I'm out . AF came, a couple of days late and really had me & DH's hopes up. Feel like a cat that's just been hosed!

Deaf- I'll be interested in hearing what Doc says. I've done quite a bit of work on rubella in RL, as said I'm sure you'll be fine.

Good luck to everyone still in the game..

MickyLee · 18/04/2011 05:53

orangehead · 18/04/2011 12:00

Sorry scuffle

whitegold · 18/04/2011 13:54

Just catching up with this thread

Sorry to everyone who af got Sad

Af is due here tomorrow and so far I've managed to resist POAS. I've got sore boobs and dull cramps so fully expecting af tomorrow. Trying not to be too disappointed as its only our second month of trying.

Good luck to those still waiting to test

Karbea · 18/04/2011 16:40

Hello,

AF hasn't arrived yet, but based on this I think it's pretty clear it's on it's way...

So i'll be jumping off here soon, onto the Jan bus... that'll be the last month of trying for us before I book an appointment with the doc's.

Bit sad as now this means i'll definitely be at least 38 before i'm a mummy - gahhh OLD!

Sorry white but you never know, fx

karbea same goes for you.. your temp has gone down but maaybe you were cold last night.

I didn't book an appointment for a scan. I want your advice to be honest before I do. So far 2nd cycle off pill. twinge on left side CD8, CD 14 heavy period type pains (no AF) CD17-CD19 really heavy feeling womb then CD20 pain in my left ovary all day - like a cramp feeling. Had EWCM since CD17.

All not normal but am I being OTT here or what? AF due sat, should I wait to see what happens first? I am going to the UK on sat for two weeks and not entitled to NHS so will have to wait to come home for a check up if I leave it. Money isn't an issue because seeing the doctor and a scan costs 40quid so can afford that.

weimy · 18/04/2011 17:21

micky I'm not sure Confused

I would be inclined to wait until AF, TTC makes you hyper aware of everything going on in your body for the 5 months of TTC, I have been getting twinges and pains I never noticed before.

But you know your own body and if you are really worried it may be best to get it checked because worrying just makes things worse :(

BlueCrane · 18/04/2011 17:22

micky your 'symptoms' sound similar to mine when I came off the pill. Takes a while for your body to settle down and find it's own rhythm again as well as the fact that you might be noticing everything more than usual since you are ttc. If AF not due until saturday then it's probably worth waiting. If AF comes on sat/early next week then you know a bit more what's going on. If not then you can start POAS and have a scan when you get home if it's looking good/or confusing. If you do have an emergency while you're in the UK then I think you're entitled to go to A&E as the NHS will treat you for an 'emergency' condition (I think - worth checking).

MickyLee · 18/04/2011 18:31

Ok so general cenus is I am being slightly neurotic Grin

I suppose I was thinking I either could be pregnant and having an eptopic pregnancy or that I had a cyst on my left ovary Blush

will wait to see is AF comes and if I have anymore pains while I am away.

Deafworm · 18/04/2011 19:09

whitegold and karbea, good luck really hope you dont get caught

mickylee sorry its stressful at the moment, its horrible guessing isnt it. hope you get good news soon.

im still in limbo no af and no bfp Confused
