Hello gumblossom , sorry to hear your news, ttc is so consuming and despite bad experiences we are forever optimistic. Knowing it just isn't an option anymore for reasons that aren't perhaps 'natural' will be very hard.

I am ok , two weeks to the day since mc and although we have begun SWI obviously I have no idea of cycle but guess af will come in the next four/six weeks

Sorry I don't know all of your histories, know that you can search but seems a bit stalkerish.
You all seem to be supporting each other and I'll keep dropping in to let you know where i am up to

x

(Arrives with 3 huge jugs of Long Island Iced Tea - and sticks the Pointer Sisters I'M SO EXCITED on the stereo) I know you all know which song I mean.

Text from lunatic just now:
"Baby Boy born yelling just before 2pm 5lb 10oz"

He's in special care, as expected, but he's doing well Smile

So completely delighted I might just get on the table and dance... I know it not's the most elegant for a pg lady (19 weeks today Shock )

(Grabs Angie and hands her a big glass of Long Island Iced Tea with one of those tacky cocktail umbrellas) So sorry you are having a crap time - thinking of you always.

Love to everyone else (mwah; mwah)

BeattieBow · 09/02/2011 17:46

Hi gum so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to come to terms with this. We'll miss you on this thread - please pop back in and see us x

Yes, my rtd did show up, and is (sorry tmi) a proper period for once, so progesterone did seem to help. I'm going to see the consultant scary expensive clinic lady next week to get a summary of my various tests, to see what she tells me I should be doing. as the upshot is that I just don't know what to do.

hi Panashe. My history (so you don't have to stalk me, and anyway, you won't be able to as I had to change my name due to a rl stalker on here)
age 40. MMC last feb - around 12 weeks, but foetus 7/8 weeks etc etc. Horrendous experience ended up blue lighted to hospital masses of blood loss etc. a year of turmoil afterwards. since then nothing apart from a couple of chemical pgs. I have had some tests recently but I think they are inconclusive. I have 5 dcs already (aged from 2-12), so am being a bit greedy I know. But also had no problems whatsoever conceiving them, so this is all very new to me.

BeattieBow · 09/02/2011 17:47

oops crossed posts with TTT - 19 weeks Shock wow!!

muchlove · 09/02/2011 18:44

Love to everyone else....... TTT aah honey 19 weeks (AND ALL IS WELL) that's me being the town cryer great news for LUNATIC it brings a smile to my face Smile

God I would give ANYTHING to be 19/20 weeks now..........instead I'm 5dpo and nothing to report

Italiangreyhound · 09/02/2011 19:53

Gum so sorry Sad that you are moving on but hope that it will prove to be the right thing for all of your family, and that you will have peace about it. It is so hard. It is difficult when circumstances break into things and I just hope you and hubby will be at peace together about all this. You do have an incredible family. One day you put a post up about hubby taking the kids to the beach and it sounded so idyllic. I really hope this sadness will not spoil all the joy and happiness you and your hubby have with your family.

With love and hugs Smile, hope we do hear from you in the future.

Italiangreyhound · 09/02/2011 19:56

Lou well the sex with intent went out the window. Seem my hubby was more interested in reading Ewan McGregor's motor biking book until bed time! So, no, I did not take my own advice and dance in my frilly undies! Instead I said gruffly, OK tomorrow then!

So I am on a promise for tonight.

Love to all.

Curlylox · 09/02/2011 20:44

Talking of Dh's....I'm a football flaming widow.....
Gum really don't know what to say but I can imagine how emotional you must be about all this. Please don't go away all together it would be lovely to hear from you to see how you are and what's happening etc. Big virtual hug from me (((((((((@))))))))))

I know our circustances are different but 3 years ago my DH refused outright for us ttc, said he'd been thinking about having the snip and didn't want anymore children!

saw the lunatic news, but went to bed at 7.30 as felt so rough... HOOOOORARRRRR for baby boy lunatic! Good to see you TTT, such great news that you are motoring along the road to 40 weeks.

panashe I am 42, 43 in a couple of weeks. Conceived DS by accident at 39, he's now 2y8m. Started TTC#2 when he turned one, got pg first month of trying, but had a MMC at 13 week scan August 09 (11+6). Then another MMC at 11 week scan Feb 10 (9+0). Then another MMC at 12 week scan August 10 (10+1). Have just had lots of recurrent MC tests, all came back clear. Trying again to find that elusive golden egg! CD 22 for me today.

can't sleep hence up at this stupid o'clock... but feel horrible, sore throat, achy, hot and cold all at once. pants :(

Curlylox · 10/02/2011 09:43

panashe fyi I'm 43 will be 44 in May yikes, have ds 21yo and a dd 6yo. Started ttc in December 09 got lucky and got BFP the next month but had a mc on 6 February 2010. My cycles have not been the same since mc, changed from the usual 28 days to anything between 15 to 24 days. However at the beginning of this month was late and had symptoms that led me to believe I'd got lucky again but af arrived on cd30 Sad but the upside of that is maybe hopefully my cycles will now go back to the average/regular 28 days.

OP posts:
Curlylox · 10/02/2011 09:44

Oh jolls you don't sound great you poor thing.

OP posts:
BeattieBow · 10/02/2011 10:38

Blimey alot of us had mcs in Feb 2010. What a horrible month that was!

jolls hope you're feeling a bit better today. My ds2 is nearly the same age as yours - 2y10 months (April 20008) - such a cute age isn't it?

Anyway, feel shit today too. Thought it was a good idea to go out after work and drink too much wine and then get the very late train home. Never again! (well until tomorrow night anyway). have decided to cut down on caffeine this month - so just one cup a day (apart from today obviously), and am taking agnus castus religiously.

Any other ideas about what you can take to boost womb lining?

louisesh · 10/02/2011 10:44

Bad lost very long post!!!! Sh laptop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right here we go again!!!!

Italian tut tut!!!! However, i hope you enjoyed yourself last night.Wink

Jolls hope things improve soon.I always think things can t get any worse then they do!!!!!!

Hi Curly

BB sorry rtd got you.At least you re seeing your consultant soon and hopefully get some answers. You had a stalker?????Hmm

Much i m totally with you.I would love to 20 weeks pregnant.Keep thinking that next time i ll try and enjoy it all.Probably won t work like that but i didn t enjoy Georgie as was too worried.[turns out i didn t need to worry about the pregnancy though!!!!].We will get to that point again.

Hi Panashe I m 40, just,2 months ago.I m one of the spring chickens on here!!!!.I stopped the ocp in Jan 08 ,had a MMC in Oct 08 diagnosed at 12 week scan baby died at 8/9 weeks had medical management. That was awful.2nd Mc in Sept 09 had erpc ,much better.CP in Dec09.Concieved Georgie in Jan 10 with a due date of 1st October.Pregnancy well monitored had 2 weekly scans and pregnanyl twice weekly up to 13 weeks. Was on asprin, consultant led due to my history. At 40 weeks + 5 days i had my first sweep started off contractions.2 days later i lost my mucus plug and had my 2 nd sweep.Within 20 hours Georgie was dead.No movement felt so went to hospital on 9th October advised no heartbeat heard/felt.Delivered Georgie on 10th October. She was perfect weighed 7lbs,12 ozs.Pm showed Georgie died of choriamitios[sp] which is inflamation of the membranes due to an infection. The placental swabs showed E coli which we, deduced was in my vagina and via the 2 nd sweep infiltrated the placenta.Georgie died of hypoxia [lack of oxygen] and went to sleep Sad Sad.

All very ,very, very bad luck and timing.Had Georgie have come on her due date or earlier the outcome would have been totally different.Another CP in Jan 11.Thats my story and how i ended up here!!!!

Well, cd8 here so swi this am.Yeh here we go again!!!! This month with a venegance.

Hi to everyone ,hope all are well.[apart from poor Jolls] XXXX

hippychick66 · 10/02/2011 13:27

lou I'm in bloody tears again - just reading about Georgie always does that to me. So sorry for you, my love - it should have been so different.

On a brighter note - hurray for lunatic - glad to hear her little lad is safely here. I was 4 pounds 7 ounces at birth - proof that premature babies get bigger (much bloody bigger in my case Wink).

tank hooray for you - 19 weeks. Fabulous news. I miss your posts BUT i do understand why you are so quiet at the moment - you don't need all that shit right now!

I am so excited. Have been doing loads of research on IOW and really feel like we are gonna be living there THIS SUMMER!

Interview tomorrow. It's an open-day thing cos they are looking for lots of people - so there is some interacting and role play type stuff - curly I can't wait for an excuse to make 'em laugh!

panache to save you stalking here are my details:- 2 X DSs aged 10 and 7. No probs with conception or pregnancy and birth. We decided the year before last to try for a cheeky last baby. Got pregnant at aged 43 but was one of the unlucky February 10 ladies. MMC 12th feb(1 year anniversary on Saturday Sad) (I was 11.5 weeks but feotus was about 8 weeks). Had eprc. 3 months later was pregnant again but had a spontanious complete MC at 7 weeks. It's now been 8 months since I was pregnant and I am wondering if I should keep going???? (I'm 44 and a half now!!! ShockShock)

I hope you're keeping notes on us all Grin.
I know it's only been 2 weeks since your MC and i just wanted to re-assure you that it does get easier and whilst I still get sad about it - I do feel like I've moved on from it.

jolls ((())) Hate to think of you ill, sweetie. XX

Big wave to my mate nicole.

SameOldJollster · 10/02/2011 13:30

lou like Hippy I always cry when I read about Georgie. I read your post earlier and had to log off.

In fact now I'm crying typing about her too :(

Diege · 10/02/2011 16:15

Hello, I'm still here! Just peeking from behind a pile of scripts Grin. Will be back on tomorrow night for bistro - only 137 scripts left to mark!
Have skimmed and seen the sad post from Gum - you will be missed; please don't disappear Sad
Oh and quick question, am taking vit B6 along with agnus, and wondering if it should be stopped after temp rise (ie. ovulation) like AC? Confused

BeattieBow · 10/02/2011 20:51

hello all, yes diege i stop taking vit b at ovulation.

Anyway, I've been researching light periods and have decided I've got Asherman's syndrome. All my symptoms fit in - light periods, cramping, botched mc (forceps involved Sad and the cps. I'm going to mention it to scary clinic boss on Monday, but I feel a bit cross that they should have thought about this.

sorry all about me. It's a bugger if its that because operations and stuff are involved I think. and many more months waiting. and time off work. and risks. Not good. eek.

Who is coming up for testing now? muchlove? we need some good news on this thread very soon I think.

SameOldJollster · 10/02/2011 21:01

BB there's a woman on the MC thread who knows a LOT about Ashermann's. Will ask her to pop by and get in touch with you. She lives in Costa Rica so not sure what her posting hours are.
