Oh blimey, nearly forgot to tell you. Me and the boys were in the Co-op last night at about 7.30 and two blokes came in with their faces covered by scarves and nicked some alcohol and just walked out with it. They left the shop at the same time as us and were calling out to people, What are you looking at you cu..... I turned away from them and said to the boys, stay near me and don't look at them. Flippin' numpty DS2 only started pointing at them!!!!!

I was very mad at him and made him stand in the naughty spot (by the front door) when we got home. How many times do we tell them that if we get into a dangerous situation you must do what I say immediately. Arrghh he said he might not have heard me but I take that to mean that he did and DS1 said he heard me. Fortunately, they just carried on accross the car park and didn't look back at us but it was all a bit scary. DS2 must be on the CCTV looking at them cos he was facinated by them.

Note to self:- MOVE to a nicer area!!! Hmm

randomimposter · 19/03/2011 16:56

hippy I hear the IOW's nice, might you consider it...?

back later x

Diege · 19/03/2011 18:04

OMG HIppy what a scary situation Shock I agree, IOW here you come!
Sorry about the bistro last night Blush. All I could offer up was diluted cream of chicken soup, and didn't think that would pass muster. My cyclizine is mocking me, so will have to revisit gp I think (can only keep liquids done for 20 mins). Sickness lasts in previous pregnancies up to week 14-20, so not as bad as some, but difficult to think about it going on even that long. SOrry for the me post and for moaning when I know so many would give their right arm to be in my situation, but my god I feel rough!

lolfactor · 19/03/2011 19:44

Diege that sounds completely awful. 20 minutes before you return a mug of tea? You'll be a shadow. Really feel for you. Let's hope your GP searches the back of her bathroom cabinet and comes up with something more powerful.

Hippy you've got a wannabe policeman on your hands. Your ds will date his decision to become a detective from the moment he stepped into the local co-op. How long till the IoW? Can't come soon enough by the sound of it. Scary.

Big BFN for me today. Don't know why I bothered - just got a cheapy cb digital pack from Amazon (probably second-hand. euchhh) I'm due on Tuesday and I just wanted to see the 'not pregnant' so I could stop daydreaming and symptom spotting and actually get on with something this weekend. And it actually worked. I sulked, then mowed the lawn. Result! Looks really pretty. I planted 100 bulbs in October. The cat dug most of them up, but I sat there today surrounded by snowdrops and crocuses. Lovely.

BeattieBow · 19/03/2011 20:54

posted a massive post and then it all disappeared gah!

Anyway, a quick precis - hello Mitzi and sorry that you're here under such circumstances. it's grim I know. I hope your stay here is short.

lol sorry about your bfn. What is the name of those cyst things? i ask because when I had the scan a couple of days ago, my promising follicle had grown too big and they thought it may become one of those cysts.

I did have another follicle developing luckily. They didn't know whether I would ovulate, but said that if I did, there was a chance that the ovulation on the new follicle would trigger an ovulation on the first one. Anyway, this scared me slightly as I don't really want twins Shock but in the end I dtd anyway!!! (didn't tell dh though). so who knows nos 6 and 7 may be the result Shock

hippy sounds scary - better get moving asap. i was in a shop in Clapham years ago when it was robbed.

diege sorry you're feeling so awful.

curly any news?

jolls any signs? A woman kept smiling at me in the clinic the other day and I wondered if you were there.... (or is it a lurker?)

Italian i couldn't watch comic relief in the end. Just too sad. Me and dh had tears streaming down our faces.

Lou hope everything is ok for you today. Glad you had a good scan.

Hello to everyone else. And lia hope you aren't pregnant anymore!

Curlylox · 20/03/2011 10:45

Hippy hope that incident doesnt have a lasting effect on you or your boys. BB fingers crossed for you all sounds hopeful. Sorry Lol re your bfn, it's a kick in the teeth isn't it but you pick yourself up and get going again after af has been and gone. Italian I phoned a friend of mine yesterday to catch up, she told me.........she's booked to go Disneyland Paris for her DD's 7th birthday! Had to talk in code with her so my DD wouldn't hear or I'll never hear the last of it. Diege you poor thing, hope the Dr can give you something else to help you feel human again. Give me backache, headache etc anything else rather than hurling up anyday. Lia you must be holding that baby in your arms now...surely?
Af due today but temp has risen not sure if that means anything, have cramps, tired, boobs a touch tender all usual symptoms for when af arrives. But no sugar craving and yesterday and this morning woke up feeling very hungry. Have been taking Vitamin E for about a month, wonder if this has had an effect on PMS?
Waves and hugs to all, you know who you are.

Diege · 20/03/2011 11:13

Hey Curly that sounds good, as does your double-egg scenario BB (though would that place you back into odd numbers? Wink)
Thanks for sympathies all - feeling a bit brighter today after a lie-in, plus I am ^hoping* that the vit B6 combi may be taking the edge off (only sick once today so far and have kept some melon down) - onwards and upwards!
Lol sorry about the bfn ( I understand the word thing) Your bulbs sound beautiful - I especially love crocuses (croci?)
Love to all - planning a cinema trip this afternoon!

Curlylox · 20/03/2011 16:47

Please don't get excited......BFN! Lol where are you?

OP posts:
lolfactor · 20/03/2011 22:29

So sorry Curly. The kids nicked the laptop and I've only just read. Bloody BFNs. And I feel so pregnant today. Due on Tuesday. I actually think I want this so much I'm having a phantom pregnancy. Next I'll be buying babygrows in John Lewis with a cushion stuffed down my knickers :-( Let's get hopeful for next month and try not to go insane.

That follicle thing that you had BB might explain my double high this month. I wonder. Hope one of those eggs is the chosen one for you.

Why hasn't Lia posted from the delivery ward? How inconsiderate of her (;-)

hopefulgum · 20/03/2011 22:49

Sorry Curly and Lol about the bfn's. I got one too.
Only 9dpo and not many symptoms, but had the most amazing dream this a.m, I gave birth in the bath to a beautiful little boy.So I figured it was a sure sign and I should test! There's definately no second line, but although I got bfp with Charlie at 9 dpo, it was 10dpo with the mc.

The dream was so vivid, and even if I'm not pregnant his month, I still want to keep trying.

Deige - did you manage a movie? I'm guessing it must be pretty difficult to do anything much when you are vomiting all the time? I remember a friend had bad morning sickness, and she had to have a bucket between her knees as she drove to work! She couldn't stop on the freeway, and her body wasn't going to wait!

I wonder if Lia has had her babe?

randomimposter · 21/03/2011 08:00

Hi all
No news from Lia on FB, but no posts since Sat so guess something could be occurrin'.

Sorry about the BFNs :(

CD9 here, so started SWI last night. Have had a shitty week with loads of big and little things going wrong, and DP being grumpy and irritating and breaking my phone when trying to replace the glass "because he was tired and in a rush"... Hmm thanks for that. So it took a bit of positive visualization and "eyes on the bigger prize" to get down to it, plus he'd just "caught" a drunk driver who'd crashed into scaffolding and was slumped at the wheel, so had his mobile on to be ready to give statement to the police when they phoned. Ooo the romance Grin. Fortunately PC rang post-coitally as it were...

Hope this week is better :)

Love to all. How are those bumped birds getting on?

x

TinaO99 · 21/03/2011 08:21

morning ladies, hippy what on awful experience! What horrid people, hope you are recovered now!

Sorry about all the BFN's - I am on day 22 and still on highs getting very bored by them but af is due in a couple of days so at least I'll start with some lows after (I think!)

had a heavy weekend on the vino and beers so have decided to completely give up alcohol starting today, it's going to be hard but worth it as I don't want to think that drinking is affecting my fertility

DH is due to do his test on thursday so one more night tonight of SWOI then abstinence for a few nights Wink

hope everyone else is ok?

hippychick66 · 21/03/2011 09:33

jolls I think you did very well to get him (and you) in the mood after all that. As you say 'eyes on the prize' can do amazing things to a woman's dedication Grin

Sorry for all the BFN's - although some of you are testing too early ( gum that's you incase you wondered Wink). It is very bitter sweet when we have those dreams isn't it. I've had dreams like that where I've given birth or been preggers and it's very sad when you wake up and realise it's not true.

diege I will not make any more jokes about vomitting as it does sound like it's getting really awful. Are you getting a scan soon. Want me to come, like I did for lou???

curly any news from the speed camera yet??

I am so tired at the moment - fell asleep in the middle of the Mentalist - WTF??? Even dear old Simon Baker can't keep me awake!!! Wish it was cos I'm preggers but fear it is cos I am just so old Blush.

hippychick66 · 21/03/2011 09:34

tina good luck for DH's test on Thurs - I hope he's studied hard Grin

BeattieBow · 21/03/2011 10:31

Lol at jolls swi - i was thinking last night how clinical swi can be when you wouldnt otherwise be in the mood.

gum , tina, hippy and curly I think you're ahead of me, so fingers crossed for you all

lol still might get a bfp - it's early days. I didn't get bfps with any of my other pregnancies until well after my af due date.

We're off to Vietnam on Sunday and I'm not taking any preg tests with me. Will just wait and see. And probably won't be ttc while i'm away as not sure I'll be even sharing a room with dh, let alone a bed. Smile.

hippychick66 · 21/03/2011 11:00

Wow that trip came around quickly BB - have a fabulous time and report back with all the details as soon as you can. Take care and be safe, honey. Yes, I can see how TTC when not in the same room could be a problem Shock.

randomimposter · 21/03/2011 11:39

aww hippy you're not old, just experienced Grin.

BB can't believe it's here already, wow better find my passport. You did get that message about me stowing in your lugguage didn't you?

update on drunk driver... DP went to the station at 11pm to give statement, apparently got back at 1am (I was sparko!) - he was 5andahalf times the limit, is denying he was driving Hmm, tried to hit the policeman arresting him, and is a local stand-up comedian (not so stand-up last night Grin)...

hippychick66 · 21/03/2011 12:28

jolls OMG - it sounds like something of the telly! I hope the SWI was successful - you are due a bit of luck, lovey.

Curlylox · 21/03/2011 13:36

BB have a fantastic trip, how long will you be away for?
Hippy think it'll be a couple of weeks before I hear anything about my speeding. Re feeling tired I'm like that most nights but that's down to my own doing as I do go to bed quite late.
Af still hasn't arrived usual cycle 24 days but have been here before - body tricks me into thinking I'm maybe upduffed only to find my cycle extended to the "normal" 28 days, temp has dropped slightly so will test again in a few days if af hasn't arrived.

Diege · 21/03/2011 15:03

Hello! Thanks for your good wishes re: the sickness! (I don't mind the jokes Hippy - in fact anything that lightens the mood, the better!). I have taken a liking to cold boiled egg sarnies, so there is some hope Grin. Trying and failing to actually speak to a person at the EPU (would have been easier to book throguh the GP last week Hmm)but fingers crossed someone will get back to me by the end of today...
BB wow your trip really has come round fast; I was thinking it was in the summer for some reason. Have a great time, and fingers crossed a bfp won't be far behind x
Lou the paperweight sounds beautiful - what a lovely idea Smile. Your journey sounds nightmarish though Shock Re: the pregnanyl, do you have to go into hospital for this?
Sorry for the bfns Sad (Curly I was widely placing my hopes in your raised temp!)
Hope everyone is well - have an egg butty or two on me - that's all the bistro has on offer this week! Wink

TinaO99 · 21/03/2011 15:11

louise he's always up for it lol

hairylights · 21/03/2011 18:15

Hello all, hope everyone is well.

Well, my 43rd birthday looms in less than a month Confused and I'm still childless and not upduffed.

Have had three pregnancies since last March and three losses.

But I've had my egg reserve test, and I'm at the low end of 'reduced ovarian reserve' but not in the 'low ovarian reserve' category yet!

Saw a great embryologist at an open night who was most helpful, and doesn't think I need to resort to IVF yet.

Got my referral appointment next Tuesday .. so hope the recurrent MC testing can happen quickly.

lolfactor · 21/03/2011 18:42

Hi Hairy. Does that abbreviation sound wrong? Sorry. And sorry about your losses - that must have been so hard. Intrigued by your embryologist, and a bit chastened as I'm 45 on Wednesday (YES 45!!!) there, I've said it out loud. I'm in the 'sorry, did you say EGGS ???? Ha Ha Ha' category, rather than reduced ovarian reserved. 2.2. Whatever that is. Still, at the time it sounded better than 1.75 which is the average for my age. Good luck with it all, it sounds like it's all systems go for you.

Hippy's right - we're all testing really early, but for me it's to avoid the disappointment. Not so secretly, I'm hoping BB's experience will be mine. I'm sitting here with cramps and tingles, but my BFN means that if AF comes tomorrow I won't be so low. I'll never know if those symptoms are just 'me' or if things aren't bedding in properly and I'm trying not to mind. I've just been looking after 5 month-old twins (my friend's coming back after maternity leave and she left them with me in the staffroom Confused). I smell faintly of sick but they were soooo cute. Even when they screamed.

Lou are you going to take that car for a long drive on a short pier?
BB are you going to post from V or just go silent on us? Eeek

Lou HOw did you hear about the paperweight idea? How great is that?
