lou I think I can probably speak for everyone when I say we are all absolutely delighted for your positive news and posts, and are all willing everything to be easy and happy and successful with this pregnancy. And that we totally want you to hang around with us with your fertile vibes Grin. x

louisesh · 01/03/2011 11:18

Thanks Jolls maybe i can shimmy some of my positive fertility vibes around...I need "journey* buddies!!!!!

BeattieBow · 01/03/2011 11:19

Hi all. lou so pleased for you!

I'm out this month I think. After the shorted LP ever, started spotting yesterday and cramping today (around 10dpo today possibly less).

Do feel a bit fed up actually, because after spending so much money my LP is still short and my period will probably be 2 days still. grr.

on the upside, I don't have to wait long for swi time to start again, and I won't be pg (much) in Vietnam! I am starting clomid this time too and another monitored cycle so might be pg with triplets anytime!

Hippy Diege any news?

Oh and I've found schools for 3 children in London! V excited. Looks like it will happen for us over Easter. EEk. (small problem of dh's job and a school for ds1, but they might stay behind in B for a little while).

randomimposter · 01/03/2011 11:30

bloody hell BB, you've really got shifted!!!! Where will you live?

TinaO99 · 01/03/2011 12:04

hi again lou yes indeed we both are! Am hoping I pick up some of your vibes lol

BeattieBow · 01/03/2011 12:04

I know, it's moved really quickly. Am looking at 2 primary schools in N London!

We hope to keep our house in B - there is a basement flat which we could all lodge in and rent the rest of the house out. (we'll only rent in L to start with). But it's very scary.

JugglingMama · 01/03/2011 12:55

Hello Hello! I just heard about this thread on another one I was on. Im 41, 42 in August, currently almost 13wks pgt. I have one ds aged 2y8m, a real monkey. I had 1 mc 10 years ago, and 3 in a row last year. V soul destroying. I have been a basket case of fear and nerves this entire pgcy up unitl last Friday when i had a private 12 wk combined test and scan - saw baba jumping around and tests reduced all my risks to that of a 28yr old. Rock on older gals!
I was prescribed aspirin and progesterone at 7wks, not sure if it helped but maybe? all my mcs were 5-7.5wks. Good luck to everyone..x

Blimey I wish that lou would shut up about being preggers Wink Seriously my love, we are so pleased for you. Of course we all want BFP's but no-one can deny that you are definitely owed a decent pregnancy and a take home baby. If anyone says they don't want to hear about it then they are mad and you must send them to me for a good kickin' Grin

BB Hang on - you're moving at Easter???? You can't bloody move before me - I've been banging on about it for donkey's years and you just jump right in there - have you no etiquette lady???

lia can not believe how imminent the birth is. Good luck - at least you've been to a few births already - just the 20-30 is it??

diege whoo hoo where the flippin' 'eck are you?? Testing??

I did a test this morning BFN - no surprise as spotting has increased and endo pain has joined the party but as my boobs were still a bit tingly I thought I'd use the asda test. My boobs are always the last to know when it's not worked - bless their ignorance.

Love to all. Where is muchlove?

ps. Jolls - the list is a great idea - I love it. Especially as I have a decrepid old brain. Grin

Diege · 01/03/2011 16:33

Helloo-ooo...anyone out there? Just back from hossie with friend and have been torturing myself stupid about testing. Lurked in a few pound shops looking for cheap ultra-sensitive tests, ditto Boots and Superdrug, then just though f*ck it, I'll do one of the free ones I got with ov kit (as I realsied 25iu is actually quite sensitive)I'm also sick of temping and would like any excuse to stop.
So (Diege finally gets to the point) held my wee for 4 hrs (thought of Hippy advice), peed in the girls hairwash cup and what do you know a BFP Grin. LIne started forming straight away and while not anywhere near as dark as control line, is strong and easy to see. 13dpo today. So, very excited (relieved I can dump the thermometer for now) but mindful of early mc last time and will be waiting obsessively for sickness). As Lou says though, 'for today I am pregnant GrinBit worried becaise of my (to date) short LP, but then I started taking B6 this month so you never know that may have down the trick?

muchlove · 01/03/2011 17:13

Hey All

LOU Oh thankgod all is ok for you great news xx

DIEGE Wowzer fantastic little surprise there !!!! Fingers and toes crossed...... for today youre PREGNANT !!!!!!

Be back soon x

Diege · 01/03/2011 17:20

Thanks muchlove Grin. Rang up dh and he seemed a little underwhelmed but there you go, that's dh Wink So my formula for success is swi the day before ovulation and the day after, nothing on the actual ov day Hmm. Hardly SME Grin

louisesh · 01/03/2011 17:26

OMG woweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Diege Knew it,knew it ,knew it!!!!!!!!!!!

Fab...i m sat here with a whopping great smile on my face.Grin,Grin.Grin.

I m so happy for you.XXXXXX

Hi Much Smile X

Today Diege you are indeed upduffed!!!!

Thanks Curly X

Hippy cheers mate XXXX Its nice to have a personal bodyguard.Don t worry it may still be too early X

Diege · 01/03/2011 17:30

Thanks Lou, I'm grinning too! I think, for me, the anxiety about when to test/which test to do just did me in (oh and plus you lot nagging me Wink) and I crumbled. I have also woken up at 4am for the last 4 mornings which is usually a give away for me. I'm so pleased I can stop temoing now though - last night I dreamt I was answering the phone and it was actually the thermometer bleeping away...
I am a tad bit worried about having to delay my smear (I was due one in March) as I have yearly ones due to past dodgy cells. Having said that the last 3 smears (3 year's worth) have been clear so hopefully I'm worrying about nothing.

louisesh · 01/03/2011 17:35

Tell me about it!!! My smear was due last August but obviously i was preggers.Meant to get it done after Georgie but obviously that went tits up then I booked for 14 th Feb [funnily enough] then i ovulated the day before so cancelled!!! I ve never left it this long but not worried as they've all been fine in the past.
It sounds ok if the last 3 have been fine. How many more annual smears were you suppose to have before they extend them? Guess all you can do is wait and hopefully have in November XXX

nicole333 · 01/03/2011 17:44

Just popped on briefly and couldn't go without saying a big congratulations to Diege !!!! Grin

Is this thread now officially on a roll?!

hippychick66 · 01/03/2011 17:58

diege way to go matey. So glad lou isn't on this journey alone. Will keep my fingers crossed that both of you will have an easy 8 months or so. Grin

Personally I can't wait until I give up this whole TTC thing - and get another mirena coil put in my nunu. I currently have cramps, feel sick, have endo pain and feel like I could burst into tears at any point. I can literally feel the progesterone draining from my body. I had a bit of a mis-understanding with a friend in RL last night and today and I feel very emotional and down. BUT - I know it is just a fucking chemical reaction and is all caused by bleedin' hormones Sad- so I know I'll feel better soon.

lou you said you cancelled the smear cos you'd ovulated - i think I'm gonna book one for early next week so I have finished bleeding but wont have actually ovulated - will that be ok nursey??

lolfactor · 01/03/2011 18:31

Diege ohmygod ohmygod - I am so pleased!!! Just so delighted for you. God, you guys give me hope. Ok, so I'm the oldest person on the list, but an old girl can dream.

Lou I quite understand the testing. Just don't go bankrupt. You're going to need the cash for the baby!

Beattie I'm stunned. Once you get a plan in your head, there's clearly no stopping you. It might be scary but you sound a lot more positive, so it's got to be a good thing, hasn't it?

Hippy big hug. I know how you feel. I've just stopped bleeding from the CP and am wondering if I should try again. It's so bloody heartbreaking. I'm desperate to stop 'wanting' to be pregnant. Not sure if isn't my time to start accepting it's all over - and I'm just fighting middle-age/menopause. I've got 3 lovely kids - and a cute stepds. That should be enough for us both. We wanted one together - but we should probably be happy that we've got each other.

Right - you're going to have to tell me, one of you. What the HELL is a swi? Can anyone do it? Is it legal?

lolfactor · 01/03/2011 18:32

and SMEP? WTF?

randomimposter · 01/03/2011 18:41

wooooooohooooooo
read this on my phone whilst midst bedtime routine for DS and (terrible mummy alert) have said "ten minutes to play with your trains", whilst I come on here to yipdoodledandy for Diege... Fab news, have all crossed that it's sticky and successful all the way.
Will pop back later for more Wine!
