Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

Yeah condoms are the invention of the devil!! Whoever invented them must have been a virgin

Thats what we are using at the mo, until we come to a decision about what we are going to do. Don't want to have a coil now, as by the time things settle down with it, DH and me should be dicussing TTCing or not.

Coathanger · 27/09/2005 16:42

Good luck lottie!! XXXXX speak to you soon

Coathanger · 27/09/2005 16:57

HellKat · 27/09/2005 17:29

By christ you lot can chat for England! .
Congrats Miss!
Mums- Go ahead and stop your pills, and have a massive bonkathon!! .
Talking about young mums, he he, I was 16 when I was pg with ds1 and had him at 17! I love it now though, makes teenage years far easier to deal with (I'm a dippy mare half the time anyway and act like a child).
I've personally found it really hard to conceive after this last mc.
Weird thing here girlies, had af (lasted 8 days) but was'nt that heavy. This morning, boobs are all swollen and sore. Any answers? Tested day before I came on and -ve. Don't know if it's worth testing or leaving it to see if I come on again in a few weeks.

HumphreysCorner · 27/09/2005 17:35

GOOD LORD what alot to catch up on!

Missmibaby-brill news girlie-test again tomorrow or the day after and I bet it will be an even stronger line (((xxx)))

mumswish-welcome to you. Hope you get sorted with your pill decision. I would finish the pack so your AF starts as normal to give you a CD1. My doctor told me that as soon as you stop taking it, it goes out of your system within 24 hours. I am seriously overweight too and daren't go to the doctors about anything as they blame everything on my weight. Don't do exercise either-life is too short to spend time doing something you hate! ((xx))

slinkstah-can't remember if I welcomed you so welcome ((xx))

My cold is improved and I hope everyone else with the lurgy is feeling better soon.

Right, must get tea on. Byee for now.

xx

HellKat · 27/09/2005 17:51

Hear hear HC.
When I got pg with ds1, i was actually underweight. That poses more risks compared to a few pounds overweight. As far as I'm concerned (being as I've been both ends of the spectrum) it's far better to be slightly overweight and healthy. I don't bother weighing myself now. Just go by how my clothes look. If my jeans start getting snug, it's time to ease back on the choc. Simple

HellKat · 27/09/2005 18:08

Off to get ds2 ready. Back tomorrow.
Take care all xxxxxxxxxxxx

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 27/09/2005 19:17

Lots of chatting today eh?!!

Missmibaby-Great News!!You have started this thread off with a bang!!I am sure that line will get darker as the days go on.Mine always did when I was expecting.

Mumswish-Welcome.I am sorry you have had to join us but you are amongst a very friendly and supportive bunch xx

slinkstah-I am sorry to hear of your experience.I lost my daughter at 25 weeks in April.

I get fed up too when I see scumbag mothers, life is so unfair and in the course of my work I see a lot.My next door neighbour smoked throughout her pregnancy and when her baby was born her placenta fell apart and she lost a lot of blood. Her baby was born days before mine and when I eventually plucked up the nerve to go and see him,she was talking about her birth as if she did not know why it happened and I wanted to scream "its because you smoked you silly cow".

And I have had that one too, when they say "its for the best" or "there was probably something wrong with IT".Aghhhhhhh

I end up getting really stroppy and say "Well ACTUALLY there was nothing wrong with HER as I saw her and we had a full post mortem, not that that would make ANY differance as at the end of the day she was mine and very much wanted,'perfect' or not".

B*stards.

Sorry rant over.Prob PMT as AF not here yet.

Will test Friday if not here by then but not counting chickens at this stage.

Hi to everyone else and a hug to all the ladies in waiting this thread has produced

xx

Diddle · 27/09/2005 19:32

don't have the energy to read through all the posts have just scanned it so i apologise if i missed anyone.

Coathanger - I would say your pink dsicharge is normal after a smear, don't panic, just keep and eye on it.

new people - mumswish, slinkstah, Carly hope you're doing ok.
Carly I would say go for it. have a bath before you BD (have sex) and then the blood will stay away for a bit and you can have good clean fun.

hellkat - Hello.

Hi to CP.

missmibaby - you're pregnant - keep testing and watch that line get darker and darker, do another tomorrow ansd let us know. how exciting

WHOO-HOO!! Aww, bless, DS3 (2yr 2 months) has just come up to me and said "wee-wee". So I said okay take nappy off and get potty. And he did it!! HE DID A WEE ON THE POTTY!!!!

He has got a potty on full view to get him used to the idea but we aren't pushing him. but he did this on his own, without prompting him!!

Sorry, but i had to share this milestone with my friends! hope you don't mind...

Diddle,

The book I read was Getting Pregnant by Niels Lauersen and Colette Bouchez. It is full of self help ideas and recommends all sorts of vitamins etc for healthy pregnancies. Talking of which, those of u who may be running out of Folic acid can get a good deal at Superdrug at the moment. Sanatogen ProNatal is only £8.42 for 90 tabs. reduced from £11.42.
Anyway, I suggest u try and have a quick read of the book mentioned b 4 u buy as it may not b 4 u. Any large book store will stock it. Most in London now have a little seated area where u can read quietly. The book costs 9.99.

Congrats to Wills and Maddyd........

There are going to be some more to come.. I am sure of it. Come on Ladies!

Good Luck........

Diddle · 27/09/2005 20:37

thanks peepee - will give the book a look wish i could come down to london and sit in a lovely bookshop and do coffee. our bookshop has no seats at all. hope you're doing ok peepee.
