Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Same with me in the morning's too! I only drink 3 cups a day though and they're all in the morning. If I have any more then it's normally decaf.

Diddle · 06/10/2005 07:11

For those of you that haven't already seen it from your mumsnet newsletter, there is an article in the telegraph about pregnancy tests and miscarriage (not a link between the two) but that early tests cause women to be more aware of early pg and may go on to have a period, as the pregnancy was never going to carry on, just like what happened to maddyd a few months ago.

i thin decaf tastes weird, makes my mouth funny, might give ti a go though, couldn't have all my cups in the morning would NEED one later on.

Its freezing here, whats it like in northants? i'm dithering and heating is on

cd35 so tempted!!!

HellKat · 06/10/2005 07:19

Go on hun! Test!!!!!! Lol You know you're tempted!
I never used to test until I was actually late. Makes sense though, testing to early etc.
I think it's a bit milder this morning but whacked the heating on. Can't get warm at all! Think it's 'cos I'm tired. So dark though now in the mornings. It's more like winter than autumn.

Diddle · 06/10/2005 08:16

i agree - i think we're going to skip autumn and go straight to winter. nope not testing promised lottie i'd wait for her, thought it would be easy to hang on, buts its toguher than i thought, af is ude today. just feel a bit blated and sicky, thast normal for pg or af

OP posts:
HellKat · 06/10/2005 08:22

You have'nt got long to wait! What time's she due back?
I really hope we have a severe winter! I need my snow.

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 08:47

Morning!
Just a quick one! Taking DS3 to nursery in a mo.

How are you all?

Diddle - i think you have amazing will power! XXX

HK - glad there were no charred bermen last night No more talk of "chilli" now!XXX

HC - Thank you for the kind words. I'm sure I'll be full of the joys of spring soon. Just want to get back to normal and enjoy life again.XXX

I can only drink decaf -tea nd coffee, coz caffeine irritates my crohns disease. So, no wake up for me in the mornings

mumswish · 06/10/2005 08:57

Morning All,

Back at crummy work!! I HATE work. Never mind.

Still no AF here but I dont really care cos I'm so not aware of my body yet.

I had really bad night sleep last night and apparently kept my DB up all night snoring (due to my cold of course) He's made a recording of it and refused to delete it so he can embarass me! EVIL MAN!! LOL

Hope everyone is ok. I agree about the winter thing. I just hope it snows this year

HellKat · 06/10/2005 09:00

Morning Hc and Ch!
Ch- Poor you with crohns! My grandad had that, not nice.

HellKat · 06/10/2005 09:03

Hc- When are you testing? I'm due on next friday so you should be due around then should'nt you? (or do you normally start as I finish?)

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 09:31

HK - Its not nice but I've learnt to live with it. Just can't go anywhere too fsr from a toilet when its bad! (hence my toilet humour! If I can't laugh about it it would send me mad!)

HellKat · 06/10/2005 09:34

Morning Mums!
Aww Ch. I'm like that but with my bladder lol. Ds2 danced all the life out of it and now it does'nt last me long.

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 09:49

Well, your not alone there! All 3 of my boys used my bladder as a springboard and the results are frightening!! Never did my pelvic floor exercises - naughty, naughty coathanger on shame

mumswish · 06/10/2005 10:01

Poor CH & HK,

Surely you can get your bladders back up and running. Do the squeeze method while your sitting at work?

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 10:04

Yeah, Mums, but its more interesting to do it whilst having sex....... hee-hee!!

HumphreysCorner · 06/10/2005 10:07

Morning ladies

DD still poorly (abit) but have dropped her off at nursery-well, she started screaming as we pulled up outside and carried on inside. I have had to leave her as I do think she is all clingy because of nursery and I think she is playing on her illness somewhat. Nursery said I could ring later to check on her but it would only make me feel worse knowing she is crying. I must ride through this as I'm sure she will come through it-I either go through it now or when she starts school in 2 years-better now I suppose as it is only for half a day. Bumped into the MIL from hell yesterday who went mad at me for taking her to that 'awful' nursery when she is poorly-evil witch-has she been to the nursery??? NO. I told her that when children start nursery or school they are poorly for awhile until their immune system builds up to fight the germs. Of course, her 2 were never ill-BAH!

Phew-rant over and I am not going to cry over this nursery lark.

HellKat-I will be testing Monday 17th as will be due on Saturday 22nd. I usually get your AF when you have finished with her so am hoping that she doesn't visit you so that she won't then bother me. Good luck for your testing-bit worrying after reading the Telegraph article. ((xx))

Diddle and Lottielou-good luck for your testing too. ((xx))

mumswish-hope you have a better night tonight. ((xx))

Coathanger-how's it hanging? ((xx))

Hello to everyone else. Off to have a cup of tea and watch City Hospital to take my mind off DD. Can't stand coffee ever since I had DD. It's tea for me all the way but I do go off it when PG-knew something was wrong last time when I started drinking tea again I don't want tea for the next 9 months. Are you listening body ?.

Back soon
xxx

HellKat · 06/10/2005 10:07

Pmsl .
My bladder control's great just when itgets chilly I'm always deperate for a wee.

mumswish · 06/10/2005 10:12

Morning HC - Sorry to her about you DD I hope she gets better soon. Just ignore the MIL their always so overprotective of their g-kids.

CH - I know what you mean about during sex. Men say they like to make womens eyes pop. Its always cool when we can do it to them.

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 10:24

Did you like that pic HK!! PMSL when I got it!!!

slinkstah · 06/10/2005 10:28

morning

HK- you get up so early! you must be crackered'

diddle- only 2 more days, you can do it.

i reckon if you test early you have to realise the implications. if i get a bfp i will not really consider myself pg until 6 weeks and because of the night mare in may i will not consider that the pg might lead to a live baby until i pass 24 weeks. pg is always a risk no matter when you find out as we all know.

Coathanger · 06/10/2005 10:36

Morning Slinkie

mumswish · 06/10/2005 10:45

Slink - I agree with you on the whole m/c route. I only think of it as a proper m/c if its at least 6 wks past af then if you lose it it could be thought of like an m/c. The rest of the time it was just one that never stuck and without pg tests you'd never have known you were pg.

I'm not saying that you wouldnt be hurt if you did mc at this stage. I@m just saying you wouldnt have noticed it if you didnt have a pg test.

I hope I'm not coming across all high & mighty. Just trying to explain what I think. Hope I dont offend anyone

Diddle · 06/10/2005 11:04
