Hey ladies,
Just checking in to catch up on all your news. Hoping to see some BFPs on this bus soon.
No symptoms over here, not feeling like it's my month though still a few days to go. I'm away for four days from Christmas Eve so will be taking some tampons and NO tests, giving myself no option but to be patient. Trying to take a leaf out of arabella's book (at least that's what I tell myself now!)

Thanks conkertree, i know what it stands for i just dont know what my UCL is as only just had 1st af since coming off the pill in may.

if my cycle is regular(in my dreams) my next af is due 6th jan but thinkin thats highly unlikely. mid SWI just in case we get lucky.

I recognise a lot of you from the August bus and hello to everyone else too!

I've been a bit quiet on this bus, but just wanted to pop in to see how you are all getting on.

I'm a bit frustrated because I'm on CD21 and still haven't ov'd Don't know what is going on. This cycle is going to be even longer than the WTF cycle I had. Keep getting very confusing signals too - stretchy CM one day and then back to creamy the next

Anyway, am moving myself down the list as I don't yet know when AF is definitely due until ov shows up!

Hi broody. I thought I might test on 24th, although I know that could still be too early. It's a tradition to have port and cheese on Christmas eve, and then obviously drinking on Christmas Day so just wanted to check!

I'm not even certain AF is due on the 28th. This is only my 1st cycle after coming off the pill. I believe I ovulated on the 14th so i'm hazarding a guess on 28th based on a normal 14-day luteal phase.

I am feeling liberated after blocking the facebook posts of 2 of my most smug new mother and pregnant friends.

Do I really need thrice daily updates on pregnancy, bump kicking, scans, maternity wear, swine flu vaccine....no I do not!

Do I really need to hear about how well or otherwise baby sleeps, eats, reacts to vaccines, snow, Christmas tree lights....or watch a 2 minute VIDEO of said baby eating a fecking rusk!? No I do not.

Glad that is out of my system!

Am not a horrible person really, am on CD2 on cycle 9 TTC #1 and am just feeling it today. Off for some retail therapy.

Right, am after tips and advice and am too scared to start own thread so hope you September ladies can help me.

DH and I are ttc#1 we've had five 'proper' enthusiatic goes (includes some use of OPKs, pre-seed, reading of TCOYF but also trying to DTD every other day and 'relax', plus eat healthy, munch vitamins, give up alcohol etc. etc.) and also had a sixth more half-hearted effort in the first month.

Obviously it's very possible this month will be our month and we just need to be patient but was just wondering if any of you can offer any new suggestions? DH and I are now wondering whether a past medical problem might have effected his sperm count so anything you have heard might boost his swimmers appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Teds77- apparantly zinc is good for sperm, so get him either taking a zinc supplement or multivitamins. I have also heard that eating brazil nuts is a good one for sperm, although I can't remember why!

Also make sure he cuts down on the booze as well, and quits if he's a smoker.

Sorry, also encourage him to drink 2litres a day and cut down on caffeine (if he can).

Thanks chocolatebt most of this done but googling brazil nuts also comes up with recommendations for walnuts and almonds so DH may be getting nuts to improve his nuts ahem...

Also read that it takes about 100 days to make a swimmer so I guess we need to be more patient to see real impact of clean living regime. Ho hum! Any more tips always appreciated.

I've added you to the stats dietcoke, I read/was advised that you should SWI every two days, but not every day cos thats not good for the swimmers. Meh, who knows, its the xmas holidays, for me anyway no more work till January

Am starting off on the annual festive drive down to see the family, have a huge box full of food to contribute to the meal and so many presents, it's indecent!!!

Oh well. Spotting started for me here. Not tested since I ran out of HPT's but this is defo AF making a start now so looks like my ride on the September bus is over :(

Fingers really are crossed for the rest of you and the BFP's for Xmas/New Year but for me it looks like roll on 2011... Maybe it'll be our lucky year.

Hello everyone.

I've been using Clearblue OPK (that I got given from some company when DD was born) now we've started trying - and got a smiley face this morning (on CD 20!! ).

Its quite weird - it's additive as when that smiley face pops up it feels like you got a BFP.

Must not start buying them myself - they cost £20 for one month's worth!

Finished work for the holiday now - going home to demand that DH step up to the mark over the next 48 hours ...

hello all.

Haven't been onto the thread for ages. Have been walloped really hard by the winter blues this year and wallowing in self-pity. I haven't stressed once about TTC this month though, and as DP had two unexpected days at home last week (work cancelled meetings, so no point going into London) we've been enjoying having some quality time together. Have been enjoying the SWI, but without the I bit being at the forefront of my mind

Have decided to wait for next AF, if i don't get a BFP this time round then we'll start pestering the GP. I don't really want to be thinking about it over Christmas.

Feeling a bit brighter now so will try and be a more regular visitor to the thread.
