hey peeps :0)

I have been TTC for 3 months now to no avail, no idea why not, as am very healthy, fit and SWI at the 'right' times.
Getting slightly stressed as everyone around me is preggers or recently had a little one, which I am happy about but it seems to be happening to people that have/do all the things that everybody says to avoid having/doing!

I shall begin a list:)

Hey purple I heard that too!

Tried it once! Made DH do it too! Whilst singing the queen song. Bicycle, bicyle! {grin].

However, was too funny and has not been repeated!

goldmaple · 06/11/2010 23:39

Lmao!! Legs in the air cycling?! Poor DH already gets a bit spooked when it is SWI-time (though he bravely hides it and doesn't let it affect his performance). Can't imagine what he'd think if I did that!! Having said that I will probably be trying it if I get to cycle 7 or 8 with no BFP Grin

Purplelooby · 07/11/2010 21:06

"Bicycle, bicycle" Grin

I also heard that men make better quality swimmers when they are feeling threatened by the presence of other men. I've been trying to book Sean Bean for some time, but no luck so far...

sufferingbabyfever · 07/11/2010 21:11

That's a good idea. Maybe we could try that! Oi DH there's some competition tonight!

Whereabouts are you at the minute? In cycle terms. Not in a creepy Im outside your window style. Im very much into the waiting game. But as my cycle changes length as it suits I've no idea how long to wait.

Its like waiting on a bus? Except when I've ever done that I don't aimlessly look for signs of the bus coming. Rumbles in the distance? Bus?

Purplelooby · 08/11/2010 21:27

A bus with no timetable - oh no :(

I'm on the boring 2ww, but I'm determined not to get psychological symptoms like last month! I swear I had just about every pregnancy symptom imaginable. Well, except for a baby...

sufferingbabyfever · 08/11/2010 22:57

lol at the missing baby symptom! I was so like that last month. This month I don't have any symptoms! Not even imaginary ones!
So its not looking good for me!

goldmaple · 09/11/2010 00:15

I wish I'd get a few symptoms, but maybe my lack of symptoms month after month means that when I do get a symptom it will be the real deal?!

Very sure AF will come soon, hopefully not late!!

Lol... I like the idea of competition to improve swimmers... but not sure how to pull it off. Maybe tell DH about a 'fake' dream about SWI with someone else?? wow... just re-read that and It sounds dumb:) plus can't see DH getting too worked up. Any better ideas? Grin

Purplelooby · 09/11/2010 19:08

Maybe go on for ages about how fit some famous bloke or other is just before doing the deed... or watch a TV programme with them on.

For example - I'm sure I would have had a much higher chance of getting preggers when Mark Rampakash (sp.) was on Strictly... DH was fed up of me going on about him!

Getting bored of the 2ww Confused

monkeybubbles · 12/11/2010 10:15

hello AF, ready for my new cycle now :)

goldmaple · 12/11/2010 15:03

AF got me too:( knew it was coming but still disappointing. Here come try number 4! But I'm convinced that THIS will be our month!!!

Purplelooby · 13/11/2010 20:42

Sorry about AF gold and monkey Sad...

I have these pains in my lower abdomen on the left hand side. AF is due on Wednesday and I'm usually bang on time, so I'll POAS on Friday if she doesn't arrive. Learning lessons from last month with all the psychological symptoms.

Lesson though ladies - on the off-chance I get a BFP, it means that the cycling thing works Wink

Purplelooby · 13/11/2010 20:49

Purplelooby · 16/11/2010 22:15

Sorry about your AF suffering Sad

Mine is due tomorrow and I have been moody all day, so it looks like it is planning to arrive bang on time... ah well.

By the way ladies: BUMP (where's everyone gone??)

goldmaple · 17/11/2010 16:06

Having a bad month... don't feel too much like posting as DH and I are starting a new business and he has suddenly decided a baby might not be a good idea for a while (even though this was a condition for me doing the business). Oh well... 3 months wont kill me but if it takes us a year then I will be mad. i think we will still TTC but not as much (if that makes any sense). Maybe this whole relaxed approach will actually work?!

Anyone POAS soon?

Purplelooby · 17/11/2010 19:11

Hey gold, that sounds really poop... You might be right though - not trying will probably make you more chilled about the whole thing - I've got two separate friends who tried really hard and didn't get PG, then stopped trying and hey ho - BFP!

My stats today are: Purplelooby, TTC #1 Cycle 2 UCL 29 CD 29

So as you can see - AF was due today... not here yet. In fact, I might POAS tonight but I promised myself I would wait until Friday... hmm...

Purplelooby · 17/11/2010 21:46

BFN Sad

sufferingbabyfever · 17/11/2010 22:11

Sorry to hear that looby.

I cracked and bought myself a CBFM. Im feeling confident this cycle. Since my last was 28 days and a normal cycle. My previous ones since coming off the pill have been very light and I always got bleeding mid cycle. Im thinking I may have returned to normal now. Yay!

Purplelooby · 18/11/2010 19:57

Sounds promising suffering, let us know how it goes.

AF came along time after making me suffer the misery of a BFN - what an evil cow she is...

OK so I might as well update the stats:

TKPepperpot TTC #2 Cycle 8 UCL 27-28 CD ??
GiraffeAHolic TTC#2 Cycle 19 UCL 60-170 CD 57

Anyone else got any news?

GiraffeAHolic · 19/11/2010 11:32

Hi all, went AWOL for a while but discovered MNmobile so am here all the time back :-)

On 2nd round of Clomid, 100mg this time. Trying not to use OPKs this time as get slightly obsessed with them Blush

Blood test on 26th to determine ovulation or not, so fingers crossed (though feeling quite pessimistic :()

Oh and AF actually arrived naturally for the first time in months last cycle, about 3 hours after I paid for the norethiserone prescription Hmm

I do the flinging myself upside down thing with my legs up the wall, oh and glugging grapefruit juice, green tea and guanifisen!!

Hiya everyone

Well I've been trying to conceive now for three months.. actually just did a pregnancy test as I'm due next week, but have 1st response tests which you can do early and I had a BFN! Disappointed but who knows as it is quite early...

Its funny cos I was all laid back initially but it must be my competitive side that wants to get pregnant asap! hehe

Has anyone confided in anyone about ttc? I've kept it quiet cos want it to be a big surprise for everyone when i do get pregs!

Anybody know about BBT? Am thinking of starting.... xxx fairy dust to all *xx
