hey peeps :0)

I have been TTC for 3 months now to no avail, no idea why not, as am very healthy, fit and SWI at the 'right' times.
Getting slightly stressed as everyone around me is preggers or recently had a little one, which I am happy about but it seems to be happening to people that have/do all the things that everybody says to avoid having/doing!

I shall begin a list:)

Alien06 TTC #1 Cycle 3 UCL 32-33 CD 3

green thats too bad about DH being away. If you get a few days of it any chance he can make it back for the tail end of it?

I work on Sat too, but get Sunday and Monday off so its not too bad:) The job is going better though.

alien sounds like we will both be SWI this weekend! Maybe we can keep eachother from going crazy on the 2ww. (or else we will egg eachother alongGrin which is more likely!!)

GreenLillium · 24/09/2010 18:20

. Be ashamed of yourself, gold, that pun was not eggceptional at all!

  • I'll have enough for you all this month, ok?
alien06 · 24/09/2010 18:31

gold haha love it ! yup be good to share the dreaded 2ww , It may help for me to not be so tired to aid SWI lol

Sorry Blush - that is my embarrased face, hope its good enough green Wink

Going to SWI tonight! alien last month we SWI at all the right times to and nothing... but fingers crossed for all of us!

GreenLillium · 25/09/2010 22:21

Have fun with your SWI, both of you! :o

All my signs are saying perhaps ov tomorrow, but want it to stay off until Wed (hopefully me SWI on Tues night? If I get a temp rise tomorrow I will be annoyed, especially after I thought this might be the right date and Fertility Friend thinks it's the one we've gone with).

Anyway, DP has agreed to really, really start trying in Dec., but even though he has twins already they were an accident and this afternoon had to spell out to him actually why the window of opportunity was small, he had no idea because, ahem, he is highly provenly fertile and didn't believe 'Dr crap'.

Baby Dust! Baby Dust for all!

GreenLillium · 25/09/2010 22:24

Oh, but PS, it has been revealed to me that a)I won't be in London when he proposes, and b)The shiny piece of jewellery his best friend is minding will not be used until next year but will help give an excellent start to the year...because he had had a few pints and tends to spill his plans and secrets when intoxicated, had to desperately tell him to not tell me any more, whilst secretly jumping around in excitement inside!

alien06 · 29/09/2010 18:03

Hey everyone, how are we all?

Busy week at work for me, barely have time to breath at the moment lol

Think I am oving at the mo thanks to the symptoms so hoping to SWI if I can catch my DH for long enough :0)

Hello, I know the bench is pretty full, so I;ve bought my own 3 seater.. :) hope you are all well.. I am new to this, mumsnet, thinking about TTC etc..
A little history (and apology that I am not up to date on the lingo!)
29, came off pill in April, only been TTC for 2 weeks, loooked up every website known to man about TTC, my cylcle is still a bit in the air, last month it was 40 days. they only last 4 days at max.
Have been doing the BD every 3 days and trying not to get too worked up, as only just started trying.. but hard and SO impatient. Wishing you all luck and hopefully we can share some more stories (hard not to be able to tell any family/friends about trying)

Essay over ! :)

goldmaple · 29/09/2010 22:47

loveslondon welcome!! Sounds like you and I are in about the same boat! I went off the pill in feb and had 3 really long cycles but it seems to have worked itself out now. I am just about on my second 2ww and it feels like time is inching by. I have only told my mum we are ttc, so it is great to talk to people on here.

alien and green I think we are now all on the 2ww? any symptoms? I think I ovulated today so none here yet... I'll probably have a bunch tomorrow:)

Purplelooby · 29/09/2010 23:27

Hello there, I know it's late in the month and the bench is squished, but I'll just sit here on the sand...

Hello to the teachers by the way - I'm another and also quite new (last year was the NQT year).

Goldmaple --> I'm sure cycle 2 is nothing! None of my friends have had a BFP before 4 months and one of my friends took 2 years but it happened naturally! Hmm, wonder if I'll still be saying this in 5 months?

Alien06 --> Last year I was teaching 11-18 but this year I am at a 6th form college and I love it! Last year was blooming hard work though, but I promise that the next year is much easier. What age are you teaching??

laloony · 02/10/2010 18:56

OOOh ooh can i join please??
TTC # 2 for 3 years (3 mcs in last 2 years)
BUT

GrinGrin

DH wont discuss it at all Sad so i can only talk to you all Smile

InTheSunshine · 03/10/2010 09:31

Hey ladies. Well I'm excited - no BFP but my cycle temp chart has had a definite dip & rise this month and the acupuncturist was very pleased with my progress so I am holding out for over a 24 day cycle this month...... we're also thinking of buying a fertility monitor - anyone else used one? Hmm

laloony · 03/10/2010 09:55

no but used those stics.....rubbish, waste of money and just caused me so much stress. In the end i concluded that there was something terribly wrong with me and that i would remain barron for the rest of my natural..just because they did not do what the packet suggested should happen.

I got in a real mess about it, out of desperation.

Im sure the argument will be balanced by some one who will come along and say that they used one and struck lucky 1st month of trying tho, so ignore me Grin

Purplelooby · 03/10/2010 22:09

Hi laloony!
I thought about buying those sticks, but I only know 2 people (3 now!) who used them and they didn't work for either of them...

By the way I have my legs crossed twice now and it hurts ha ha.

Too much BD I'm sure...

sufferingbabyfever · 03/10/2010 22:23

Hey alien,

a lot in common!

Also teaching! and TTC #1

Sufferingbabyfever TTC #1 Cycle 2 UCL Confused CD 20

Came off contraception in April. Ovaries etc seem to be still in a daze and behaving as they like - much to my annoyance.

C'mon ovaries shape up! Targets to reach!

sufferingbabyfever · 03/10/2010 22:30

Just noticed a number of you wanting to do a Christmas reveal! This is so my board! Im dying to do that too. I feel I am now putting quite a bit of pressure on!

alien06 · 04/10/2010 07:51

hey everyone,

purplelooby I teach 6 year olds!- Year 1. not enjoying it that much to be honest but only maternity cover until Xmas.

laloony symptoms look good! I know what you mean about DH not discussing it, mine is the same, he is soo relaxed!

I have had cramps in my lower abdomen for few days and it feels weird, maybe ERTD is coming earlier than expected? also have increase of CM (TMI!)

anyone shed any light on these symptoms? ps my boobs havent got sore or anything yet which is my first sign of imminent arrival of ERTD!

xx

InTheSunshine · 04/10/2010 20:37

Those bloody sticks - they should come with a health warning! They just confused me and made me anxious. AF due tomorrow but I'm hoping to hold out for a full 28 day cycle or a miracle....suffering I like your target attitude! Grin

Purplelooby · 04/10/2010 21:09

I like this target attitude too - I'm going for it...
shouts DH! DH come here - we've got a target!

He's so unimpressed by the way.

alien Year 1 yuck - I did 2 weeks in a primary school and I ran away very fast at the end of it. They, like, hugged me and stuff. Eugh. Did I mention that I'm not very maternal??

By the way - has everyone managed to keep secret from people that they are TTC? I keep accidently telling people whenever I have a drink...

ijceb · 04/10/2010 21:18

Hello ladies,

Please can I join Smile

ijceb TTC#1 Cycle 8 UCL 26 CD 20

I have tried those sticks and I'm afraid that I have to agree, a complete waste of time. Just ended up getting really stressed out with them, holding them up to the light to see if there was a faint line...nothing...ahhh - given up on them now and feeling more relaxed.

Haven't told anyone about TTC just incase

XX

sufferingbabyfever · 04/10/2010 22:52

I find I've let it slip out to a few too many people! Usually after alcohol!

I used the sticks and I didn't find them clear enough. Like it had two lines and then when I tested again a little later (line was less dark this time!) They confused me.

Though it doesn't take much Grin

Purplelooby · 05/10/2010 21:41

Hello ijceb nice to have you here!

Now I wanted to update the list but I realised that everybodies CCD will be wrong... confusing.

As for sticks, I've got some EWM today and that's enough of a sign for me! Ha ha there is no other place in my life where I could tell/type that Wink
