hey peeps :0)

I have been TTC for 3 months now to no avail, no idea why not, as am very healthy, fit and SWI at the 'right' times.
Getting slightly stressed as everyone around me is preggers or recently had a little one, which I am happy about but it seems to be happening to people that have/do all the things that everybody says to avoid having/doing!

I shall begin a list:)

Thank you Purplelooby Smile

hmm I've just had a read through and it's too much to work out everyone's stats Confused..we're all just TTC, so I guess that's all that counts really. Grin

Having a bad day today, feeling really emotional. AF due this Sunday. I hate the 2WW, drives me crazy

goldmaple · 07/10/2010 04:32

Been MIA for a few days. Temps all over the place so I'm not sure if I even ovulated. Usually boobs get sore 2-4 days after ovulation and nothing yet on day 23:( Did SWI but DH is out of town until sunday now so don't know if we hit the right days.

Its great to see so many new TTC#1!!

inthesunshine I'm thinking of getting a clear blue fertility montor as everyone who has one likes it. Which one are you thinking of?

laloony i find the opk sticks a total waste of time too... never gotten a + despite ewcm and temp shifts...

I will stupidly bravely take a stab at Todays stats:

Alien06 TTC #1 Cycle 3 UCL 32-33 CD 25
TKPepperpot TTC #2 Cycle 8 UCL 27-28 CD ??
InTheSunshine TTC #1 cycle 9 UCL 23-27 CD26
Goldmaple TTC#1 Cycle 2 UCL 30 CD24
ijceb TTC#1 Cycle 8 UCL 26 CD 23
Sufferingbabyfever TTC #1 Cycle 2 UCL CD 24
GiraffeAHolic TTC#2 Cycle 19 UCL 60-170 CD17

Looks like we have some POAS soon!

Did I get anyone's right??:)

sufferingbabyfever · 07/10/2010 18:16

Hi everyone!
Seem to be lurking about these boards quite a bit. Undecided if its actually healthy for you. But I seem to find it quite supportive. I'm into the realm of early testing tommorow. I would like to not. But I know I will! Anyone else find the last few days of the wait the worst?

Im thinking about getting a CBFM. Although obviously will be a waster of time as I will be getting my BFP this month Grin. However, back in the real world Ive been looking at them on Ebay - so much cheaper!

alien06 · 07/10/2010 18:40

hey suffering I bought a CBFM and will be using it once ERTD arrives this week!

What cycle day do you think you will test? I am onCD26 now so updated my status!

Alien06 TTC #1 Cycle 3 UCL 32-33 CD 26

how have your weeks been? I have had a busy one as my TA has been off ill and boy its tough on my own !

sufferingbabyfever · 07/10/2010 18:55

Hey alien
Well my cycles are never the same length (nearly usually 25, 27 or 29 days) so I could be due AF sun, mon, tues or wed!?! I daftly did a test on Tues (a 1st response 6 day one) obv too early to bfn. I got some cheapy ones. I might try one at the weekend (lets be fair it will be tommorow.

Im not positive this month though I had lots of good signs the first week which have disappeared. Symptoms of wishful thinking I have decided.

Also Im concerned that the spotting I had lasted 4 days. Was this a bizarre smallest AF in the world? Im not sure what that even was. So maybe Im into a new cycle. But (this is way tmi but..) proper AFs for me = lumpy bits not just blood, and never bright red either. Im thinking that if I get this again next month it might be an idea to see the dr. Though I know they will be like blah blah body settling down after years on contraception etc.

Week at work has been quite good. And Ive just got an inservice tommorow (boring) and then a week off. Woo Hoo

Sorry gigantic message

GiraffeAHolic · 07/10/2010 19:34

Hi all, been AWOL for a while, nothing exciting happening :(

Took Clomid days cd2-6 now on cd17 with no positive opk, no ewcm, no nothing :(

Guess it's not going to happen this month

Purplelooby · 07/10/2010 22:42

Good job goldmaple - you're a much greater woman than I. I'll update mine:

Purplelooby, TTC #1 Cycle 1 UCL 29 CD 17

It's that crap bit of the cycle where it's too early to wonder and too late to BD :(

GiraffeAHolic it sounds like you are not having a nice month - I'm sending an eHug via the magic over the internet.. hope it helps.

sufferingbabyfever · 08/10/2010 16:54

Hey ladies,

Did an early test today (BFN Angry). But still hope I suppose as possibly still too early. 6 days to go till expected latest day I could get AF (I think).

Though prob as punishment for my impatience I have a bit of cramp. AF on its way? More than likely.

Boo!

Purplelooby · 10/10/2010 20:14

Feeling very guilty because I drank lots of beer this weekend and thus I don't really deserve a BFP in 2 weeks. And if I get one I'll spend the whole time worrying that I drank lots of beer.

Bad Me :(

sufferingbabyfever · 10/10/2010 21:27

Im in the camp that says its ok to drink until you know otherwise!

goldmaple · 11/10/2010 16:03

purplelooby I wouldn't worry because many people drink before they know! I added you to the stats:)

giraffeaholic sorry to hear about no +opk (but they don't always work anyways, do they?)

I have no hope of a bfp this month. My temps went down this morning (even though they never really went up). Eager to move on to next cycle now!

Something-like Today's 'stats':

Purplelooby, TTC #1 Cycle 1 UCL 29 CD 21

Fingers crossed for you alien and sufferingbabyfever!

Purplelooby · 11/10/2010 21:07

Hey, that's suprisingly accurate dating goldmaple - I'm impressed.

sufferingbabyfever Sorry to hear about non-BFP, but you're right, it's a bit early so fingers crossed.

Even though my stats say Cycle 1, DH and I actually tried before, but we had to stop because I got a new job. We tried for a few months and the first month we tried, I got every single possible early sympton... and then had a period.

The reason I'm typing this is because my boobs look big and I feel a bit yucky and I've got a crampy tum. And I've been moody at work all day. Must remind myself that last time it was all in my head :( AF not due for over a week.

alien06 · 11/10/2010 21:35

howdy peeps , Im on CD 30 now so updated the stats!
went to docs today about sharp pains and swollen lower abdomen last week and he said it was prob ovulation late! booo as was in a lot of pain to think about SWI , any way he said that we dont ovulate each cycle which I never knew! so that has relaxed me a bit as I may have only ovulated last week :0) i got a BFN today so I am sure ERTD is on its way, probably be a 33 day cycle or something lol
sorry to read about your BFN sufferingbaby fingers crossed!

Hi everyone,

Well no sign of anything AF related. Have had quite strong cramp at the base of my spine for days now (quite odd as I never get period cramp). Have resisted testing until I am actually late. There is a clear blue in my drawer calling on me. But I'm remaining strong! (Shut up clear blue!)

Well Im remainaing hopeful though already passed by 25 and 27 day cycle markers. Only the 29 to go. I will be raging at both my ovaries and womb if they decide to try out a longer spell this month. (Don't even think about it!)

Due to my strong desire to poas I have been using up my ovulation thingys as they expire shortly. Strangely I got a positive today and yesterday. Better not be any late style ovulation! As I know I ovulated earlier in the month. The sticks said!

Good luck to all still waiting. Alien it aint over till its over!

sufferingbabyfever · 12/10/2010 14:12

Hey all!

Anyone with any news to report?

Any untimely AF's?

Well the last poss time i normally would get AF is tommorow. Resisting the sticks so far.

If I don't get it tommorow ? Should I test tommorow or continue waiting.

I have now googled myself to death and feel I have definate symptoms. (In the head - no doubt). I think I could be in for a bit of a blow tomorrow! At least Im off work and can sulk in peace!

Purplelooby · 12/10/2010 19:45

sufferingbabyfever I've got my fingers crossed for you!! I would wait one extra day though, just so that you can't question the result...

Defo let us know x

sufferingbabyfever · 13/10/2010 20:13

Hey all,

Well couldn't resist testing today (when AF should have shown up).

But the lazy cow has decided not to arrive and leave me with a BFN.

How inconsiderate!

Wish it would just hurry up and come. Pointless time wasting! Get with the programme Ovaries!

alien06 · 13/10/2010 21:42

Hey suffering sorry to hear about your BFN :( I am in the same position - day 33 of a UCL of 31-33.. no sign of ERTD but then again may be late due to stress as have OFTSED in my school at the mo so slightly stressing as being observed tomorrow :(

when are you going to test again? I tested again today and a big fat BFN !
x

OP posts:
sufferingbabyfever · 13/10/2010 21:46

I don't actually know if I can face testing again. Its so gutting. Im thinking maybe the bleed i got in the middle was some sort of AF (although completely unlike any Ive had - extremely light, I thought it was spotting)

Maybe give it a week if no AF?

Think Im going to try and forget about ttc and just see what happens lots of SWI but no tests (ovulation or pregnancy ones!)

And maybe put my energies into something else!

Ive never been involved in an inspection yet and they are on hold in Scotland for the minute due to the new curriculum. How long do they observe you. I think I'd hate that.

Purplelooby · 13/10/2010 22:20

Eugh - we are due an inspection soon because our last results were poo so you have my sympathy.

I got observed by SMT on Monday but no feedback yet.

suffering sounds like you are making a good wholesome sensible plan - wish I could be so strong!

sufferingbabyfever · 14/10/2010 18:07

Hey ladies anything interesting today?

Alien how went the inspection?

AF where are you? You are late. Still. Angry

AnnieBeansMum · 14/10/2010 18:11

Hi everyone, can I join you? DH and I have recently decided to start trying for #2. My details:

TTC #2 Cycle 1 UCL 32 CD 29

I really doubt anything will happen this month as DH and I didn't really start trying until about 2 weeks ago. DD1 took almost 4 years - I just pray DC2 won't take so long.

sufferingbabyfever · 14/10/2010 18:17

Welcome AnnieBeansMum

Nice to see you on the thread.

Hopefully you won't be here long (in the nice way)

Ive only been trying 3 months and am already quite stressed! I can't imagine how difficult 4 years would have been!

AnnieBeansMum · 14/10/2010 18:20

I hope I'm not here too long either!! Grin

goldmaple · 14/10/2010 22:35

Fingers crossed that your late AFs are BFPs alien and suffering!!

AF got me but it came early:) so planning on putting in good SWI effort... and also planning to ovulate!!

annie I added you to the stats list. I hope you get your bfp very soon!
