I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

PV Arsebook? In the name of Dougie Howser, how do I find you??

Beattie, IIRC you were pollya... a while back on tightie whities thread (won't type full name in case you're found by overzealous searchers)... No one except oldies will recognise you here with new name...

Jolls sorry it's all a bit pants. Would try the spatone anyway, 1st trimesters take it out of you, boost probably required whether you're planning to wait or not. Red wine and dark choc also good iron sources (it's my excuse for chocolate and the occasional sneaky glass of vino).

I swear by Agnus Castus, I reallly do. I'm going to say something contraversial here too. I am still taking it. Last time I stopped as soon as I found out and we all know that didn't end well. Also a friend from work had 2 MCs, started taking AC and stopped when she found out and then had her 3rd MC. The 4th time she got pregnant her doc in Oz told her to keep taking it, she did and her twins are due in December. I'm hoping I'm not doing something stupid but if it went wrong again and I hadn't tried I would be angry with myself.

I asked them to prescribe me progesterone at the clinic and they wouldn't - no evidence it helps and no evidence it doesn't do harm, so on and so forth. Since AC kind of does the same job that's another reason why I'm keeping at it. Jolls I've also cracked open the serenity today. How on earth did you calculate 1/8 of a teaspoon?

Lottie if you can't find PV on FB my e-mail address is above - try searching on that. Sorry for almost making you greet!

HI Alba, yes, just wondering if it was that thread before I introduced myself.

Hello all I was on that thread as P0lly-ana (sp) but was stalked so disappeared and am reincarnated. Anyway, still ttc after my mmc in Feb. I partly disappeared from that thread because I did get a bit disheartened that some people did seem to graduate after 2 weeks or whatever. I had to hide that thread after a while (one of many sadly). Hope you have lots of luck. xx

Caribou Thank you. Re Serenity I read that 1/8 teaspoon is about the size of a pea HTH.

cariboumoo as you read before, I took my AC with no problems in first pregnancy. If it makes you feel better, then... I think I'm going to get some started, even if it's just to boost my presently seemingly non-existent ovulation.

What's serenity peeps?

Waves to all. I feel a bit like I'm gatecrashing, but I like it here.

Morning all,

moo I'm taking agnus castus too, took it years ago to sort my cycles out as I was having a period every 18 days. Yikes. Don't want that to be happening again.

Hey to Beattie, lottie, freezing, battery, clareanna, hairy and anyone else I haven't already said hello to and may have forgotten in my tired stupor.

magic ahhhh good old chunderbird, eeesh, that was rank wasn't it. Scrumpy in gallon containers was another drink of choice down my way in my youth. It had bits in. And tasted the same coming back up too. With bits! Grin Ming-ing!

jolls hey chicken, sorry you're still having to deal with ERPC aftermath, hopefully this is the end of it now and it will stop very soon. I have no words of advice just empathy by the bucketload if that helps x

I am sooooooooo pleased it's Friday, I've been on duty for the past 20 days straight getting up every morning at 4 friggin 30 and I am fooked. 5 days off now, bring on the lie in.

I'll apologise now if I'm not about the next few days, we have family over and I will be hogging my delicious Niece for myself as I've not seen her for a while.

Happy Friday lovelies x

Sqz x

How's the moving going Cheepz ?
Found the gin yet? :)

8's blurrrgghh, kiwi 20/20 actually tasted better coming back up I seem to remember .
On the same but far more classy note, have you had Chapel Down wine?
Tis from local vineyard, well Kent.
We sunk a few bottles last night, it gorgeous.
Maybe one to keep on ice for you though.

Blargh, 20:20 - that's brought back hideous memories. We used to drink White Lightening before we went out; I'm sure that's rotted my insides. Mmm, tramp-juice.

Elloo Hairy and Hen and Freezing :)

Now I'm going to have to go and see what Lottie posted on the big thread that made her Blush ; I'm intrigued Grin

Grin @ owls tramp juice.
Glad to know I'm not the only classy berd.

Well I've abandoned the shiny shiny mowbli for an iPad and I'm sitting in front of a large bowl of chocolates.
This is not good for my waistline.

iPad is lovely and all, but sorry Steve it doesn't do anything my iPod touch and phone can't.
Review over. Grin

We used to drink neat Taboo that also tasted the same on the way down as up, although even more acidic (if that's possible).

What's the plan in London Town, PV? You got family there, or just a visit?

God, barren you must be ker-knackered. I think getting up at six is early, obviously I don't know owt! Enjoy your lie insSmile

Can I have a wham bar freezing? I saw at the shop the other day you can now get raspberry and cola ones,

Off to the swimming baths later with DS, and at work tomorrow, boo. However having an X-factor night in on Saturday-yey. Lord, how times have changed here too.

TMI alert (if you have a fear of rummaging)

Right you lot; I decided I would try and find my cervix as by all accounts I should be considering its condition. Went for a bit of a scout. Now, bearing in mind I have massive hands like some sort of freakish ladyboy and really long fingers - I cannot find the fecker. Seriously. It's not there.

Have I a: not got one (unlikely, I concede)? Or b: does it just vanish completely when it is almost SWI time? Tis day 8 or 9 today I think if that is helpful.

Thanking you in advance for your learned replies.

Also; ew. Am not rummaging again, that was weird and horrible.

clareanna · 10/09/2010 12:39

I see your kiwi 20/20 and raise you a pint of snakebite and black with an archers and lemonade chaser - urregh

owl am not a fan of the rummaging, but know from the various smears I've had that you can have a tilted cervix which makes it harder to find- must be up there somewhere?!

Report
Unbuffy · 10/09/2010 12:47

oooh snakebite. Never quite saw the point of that... I used to stick to Navy rum and Coke and VAST quantities of scrumpy... Cheapy neat vodka / gin on a bad night (will not now touch the evil stuff). Actually i'm not entirely sure of everything on good nights, except a REALLY good night generally had absinthe in it (and associated hallucinations)

Cervix rummaging? icky... A bit like that mast*rbation thingy. Another thing I just don't get. I know I'm now a bumpkin but I did live in a city for a while but am starting to wonder if I'm just crazy naive? Much more so than when I was 6th form I'm sure - knew Everything then.

Afternoon lovelies xx

Ooh ooh ooh can I play on Bookface too please? :) My initials are KD and I'm wearing a wedding dress and am already friends with PV, Moo et al so friend me up! :)

And hello urd lovely! How fab to see you. :)

I'm back from my day Go Apeing in the Lakes with work. Was much fun and I managed to do it ALL, despite being avec bean. None of it was particularly high impact, so I never felt like I was doing anything that could harm the baby - plus I expertly managed to nurse a full glass of wine all night to avoid the non-drinking suspicions. Textbook.

As for school booze - taboo was my nemesis. Only to be superceded at university by mixing orange 20/20 with lambrini to make a pint of rocket fuel. Bad times.

owl I actually thought some wee was going to come out I was laughing so much at your post. I just had this image of mahusive comedy hands similar to that of sponge hand waving contraptions a la Gladiators audience. Sorry, inappropriate seeing as your cervix is missing! I am led to believe prior to ovulation ones cervix rises to it's highest point and it's perfectly normal not to be able to reach it. I'm sure après ovulation you will be able to find it so worry not chicken Smile

viv I'm going to bookface you up now lady.

Eeesh, taboo! Wasn't there another one that was like it's sister drink but a different colour? The name slips my mind but was frequently poured down my neck. One time I remember drinking gin with Hooch (remember that?!) as a mixer!
