I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

Hello my luvverlies, how are we?

digi whoop whoop, congrats love! Marvellous news. Sending lots of love

prettymrsg you're proper going through the mill at the mo chicken, so sorry things are rubbish. Am sending all the luck I have your way, it's your turn. And here's a big sloppy snog on the chops too to make you feel even better Grin

tigger lovely to see you How are you? We decided against a list and to just have this as a quiet place. So kick back and put your feet up

Um, so last week I tested and got a BFP. Am now still in a state of shock and can't quite believe it so am trundling along in a daze half expecting it to go wrong. Biscuit

Love to everyone else x

owlshoes · 03/10/2010 19:56

Hang on what??? BB ? How dare you slip that in as an afterthought, missus? Grin

Am delighted for you :) :) :)

Welcome back Tigger & v.glad to hear that life seems to be improving for you. :) I don't think there was any malice at all intended in the list reshuffle, it seemed to be more a 'add yourself in as we're going along' type sentiment - I have given up on lists altogether though as find them too demoralising.

Unlike the lovely news like we've had today which is very cheering!

digitalgirl · 03/10/2010 20:22

barrenbrook you kept that quiet! Huuuuge congratulations to you too! Grin

tigger glad to hear you're feeling more positive and settled about things.

Barren really really pleased to hear your news. I always felt that we were sort of karmicly tied (you were about 1 month ahead of me until your last mmc)so maybe there's hope for us both.

I guess I'll still have to occasionally post on the other list so they keep my stats for me. I used to write my LMP dates at the top of each page in my blood sugar record book. I ran out of pages after month 11 and gave up at the same time.

I think I'm going to carry on giving it a break for the moment. This month I POAS to determine when I was not ovulating and felt much happier and more relaxed. I think I'll give it some more time and then try and get an appointment privately. Although the consultant I saw thought clomid wasn't worth a try I'm not convinced and would like to get another view on it. Plus I'm really attracted by the idea that it increases your chances of twins ... Grin

I hope we all continue to hear good news.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 03/10/2010 21:05

Keep 'em coming, ladies...

digitalgirl · 04/10/2010 06:58

Can't sleep. Woke up at 5:30 after dreaming I'd started bleeding then miscarried a huge alien like foetus. Not helped by having contraction like back cramps which I've had prior to both my miscarriages. And my fucking temp dropped. So am miserably convinced that I'll be getting my period as planned tomorrow if not sooner.

Sad
randomimposter · 04/10/2010 06:59

what terrific news! well done Digi!! So pleased for you. And another whoop for my lovely BB.... nothing much to report here, so will pop back soon xxx

randomimposter · 04/10/2010 07:01

arsicles - that's a XP situation - sorry you have these worries digi, hope all turns out to be ok. :(

LadyBee · 04/10/2010 07:20

digital dreaming about miscarriage is entirely natural when it's a very real worry. I hope the temp drop is a blip for you, sorry you're anxious chick

LadyBee · 04/10/2010 09:37

bbrook I seem to have a bad case of skim reading, just saw your excellent news. Wonderful! Are you going to get an early scan or will that not be reassuring for you?

tigger sounds like the break is absolutely what you needed. Don't worry about the other list, it absolutely wasn't a dumping, I'm on there a bit and will keep you going. That goes for anyone else who wants it.

owlshoes · 04/10/2010 10:22

Digi if it's any consolation, full-on freaking out weirdness type dreams can happen a lot when up-diffed, plus given you've already got something to stress about is bound to make it worse. Tis fair also to say that if you've had a shite night's sleep your temp this morning is likely to be majorly unreliable, is it not?

Really hope you are feeling better as the day goes on.

youremindmeofthebabe · 04/10/2010 10:24

Woop woop for barrenbrook and for digi! Am sure it's just a temperature blip, fingers crossed for you. I love all the BFP's.

Had a weekend away, been very busy, and no time to dwell on the PMT symptoms, nor the bad skin, or BPN that I got with FMU this morning. But there we are.

Are you all well? We are all heading for a cold, or freshers flu in this house, I can feel it! still, it's a beautiful day, perfect for doing the laundry

digitalgirl · 04/10/2010 10:56

Yes, I can definitely say I am now freaking out after being on a high all day yesterday. Took another couple of hpts after posting and they came up positive - which I know isn't any guarantee but made me feel a bit better especially as the fr one came up straight away and it wasn't fmu.

So trying to be positive - I have booked a scan in for 2 weeks time. I know I'll only be 6 weeks but hopefully it'll at least measure right. And now the twinges have moved round to the front which is more reassuring.

Sorry for the early morning flip. Think it will be a while before I can relax.

Unbuffy · 04/10/2010 14:32
VivClicquot · 04/10/2010 15:52

Oh digi lovely, I am so chuffed as I know it's felt like such a long-time coming with your long cycles. I know it's easier said than done, but REALLY try not to panic. And if it makes you feel any better, I did a couple of cheeky CBDigi's in the following weeks, just to check it was going up from 1-2, to 2-3 and then 3+ on the right days, so you're not alone on the multiple testing. :)

Hope the other newly diffed are managing to keep calm too.

And big love to my buddy pv - hope you've been a-Shame purchasing this morning... Wink

Much love to everyone else, and a for those approaching ov and in the 2ww.

tigger15 · 04/10/2010 20:22

Digi - do you think hypnotherapy affirmation things might work for you? Repeating a mantra of My body can do this or something like I love myself can do funny things for the mind but it may help. I did find it very relaxing and more long term than accupuncture which only worked for a few hours after.

clareanna · 04/10/2010 20:27

digi and bb amazing news!!! Sooo chuffed!!
Hope the evil dreams stay at bay x

mrspv sorry you're feeling pants - hope the docs get you patched up and feeling perky soon

Freezingmyarseoff · 04/10/2010 23:30

Yay yay yay to Digi
and a yay yay yay to BB

and a micro yay to this thread cos it so chilled out and happy too

MrsPV sorry things are pants for you at the moment. If it's any consolation I have some sexy wrist splints too.

Tigger glad you're feeling more upbeat about things.

I think the lack of list on this thread is ace. I was getting in a bit of state with the list, the moment we started TTC again I reckon I stopped ovulating and I'm convinced it's because I've been obessing about the right cycle day.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. Right, I MUST go to bed.

LadyBee · 05/10/2010 00:17

Oh thank goodness digi I've been worrying about you today, just on train home to pick up DS and v pleased to see no bleeding yet. Do whatever you need to to get through these early weeks, but do try to remember how good that high felt when you saw the bfp - you deserve to enjoy that as much as anyone.

AlbaDeTamble · 05/10/2010 10:13

Only just found out there was good news over here...

Huge congrats barrenbrook and digitalgirl -- and lots of calm 'it IS all going to be just fine this time' thoughts for you both.

randomimposter · 05/10/2010 15:26

Hi all
sorry have been AWOL drinking too much Oyster Bay, scoffing too much pate and G&B, and just generally feeling shite. Moving house the day after an ERPC is NOT to be recommended. Moving somewhere grotty and damp (found slugs in the kitchen this morning) when you're feeling emotionally low is also not a great idea.

BUT as Yazz once said "the only way is up, baby".

SO have booked appointments to start recurrent MC tests; NHS ball starts rolling tomorrow, have also booked a consultation at a private clinic in a few weeks.

Back on the horse as it were I guess. Mental note, must buy folic acid.

Hope all is well with everyone; will be more "with it" I promise :)

barrenbrook · 05/10/2010 19:04

Jollipops, we've missed you Grin Good luck with the tests x

Digi hope you're OK chicken, stay positive, easier said than done I know, thinking of you x

Tigger I'm doing it for us long timers Wink so pleased to hear you are in a better place. We will all get there in the end, some of us taking a slightly rockier route than others Hmm

Thanks for all the congrats girls, am trying to be as optimistic as possible but as you all know t'is quite hard! Am waiting for recurrent mc clinic to call me back with a date for an early scan. I don't even know if I want one! BUT at least it will rule out (I hope) it being a mmc like last time. 5 weeks tomorrow, I've only known a week and it feels like an eternity already

hippychick66 · 06/10/2010 09:55

Hi, there are quite a few names on here that i recognise.

As for me, I had a MMC in Feb followed by an early MC in June. 2 sons aged 10 & 7 (both pregnancies were fine).

I'm 44 now and wondering if I just don't have any decent eggs left.

I don't know what I fear more, never being pregnant again or getting another BFP and then having a third MC Hmm.

Anyway, I thought this thread looked good. I did go on the just MC'd thread after my MMC but every time a new person came along who had just been through it all I found it so hard to read their stories, so i'm hoping this one will be more suitable for me.

I just got my period the other day which really pissed me off cos we tried bloody hard this month (4 shags in a caravan!!!)

Anyway, hello from me. xx

urd · 06/10/2010 11:50

CONGRATULATIONS Barrenbrook and Digi, so pleased for you both, good luck to you.
Jollster- you sound really positive, glad you're feeling a bit better, like you said only way is up now.
Hippy- good to hear from you, 4 shags in a caravan, love it, you done well especially if your sons were there, with them paper walls. I do love a caravan though.
Hello to everyone, hope you are well.
