Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

I get dizzy madkatz but still waiting for my BFP, so fingers crossed it's a sign for both of us as I have had cramps for a few weeks now

Putting up the tree and decs this weekend with the help of our friends little boy, our flat doesn't feel very Christmassy at the mo...but it will after a very active 2 year old has got his hands on the baubles and tinsel!

Oh no sorry madkatz :(. I hope you are ok. I had s stupid cycle last time and was 5-7 days later than normal. You will at least be able to have Xmas drinks. Unless you have short Ish cycles like me, I will be able to find out off an early rest around Xmas day.

A bit more upset annoyed this time than normal as I thought we might have got it right. I know it can take ages but I really was hoping it would be a bit quicker than this - this one starting today is now my 8th cycle since coming off the pill. Sad

So sorry madkatz I HATE AF!!! how long was your cycle this time?

Am now on day 37 this end. First cycle was 35, last one was 28 so am very confused as to what my body is doing.

DH and I are getting excited, as would be great to be preggars for Xmas, as we're on our own this year instead of the family thing (just in case it was our last one we could have on our own :)), so no queries with no booze, but going back to the Midlands again for NYE so not sure what I'd say. Getting away with myself again........

Its rubbish isn't it!! You time everything and it does happen. I always think that if I'd have just accidentally forgot to take my pill when I was on it I'd have been pregnant strait away!! I have my fingers crossed for you that you get pg this time, baby conceived at Christmas Xmas Smile.

Hi klou. When you testing again? My body went stupid last cycle. Weird what our bodies do. I hope you are pg, it would be lovely to know at Christmas. You could say you are severly hung over lol. No one would question that.

Cd5 here, wish af would bugger off now. I've started temping too so let's see where that gets me Xmas Smile

Typical ain't it iwish you spend all that time trying NOT to be pregnant lol!

Going to try and hold out testing til Friday. If BFN may see what my body is doing next week and if no AF still, book to go to the doctors the week before Christmas, if AF arrives, will cancel.

Been reading up on net, and some women not find out til they are 6 weeks + gone!! Hence a trip to the docs in 2 weeks if necessary, but don't want to get too far ahead of myself and get hopes up to just come crashing back down x

I would say yes liz to the ovulation tests just not sure its worth it - I've bought 3 different types of different strengths up to now and none of them work with me Confused

I didn't temp last cycle but I think I will start again this time: do everything we can to get PG for the new year

Well no AF still, and have sore nips :( not sure if it's a sign or if it's just cos I am extremely cold!!

Madkatz - sorry about AF - big hugs. OV test didn't work for me (PCOS) but temping and the saliva microscope thing did. This was the one I used.

Cd6 here and af buggered off yesterday. Started temping on cd2 and am planning on using OV sticks from about cd10 to cover all bases!

No sign of AF here Iwish going to test again tomorrow. Feeling like a right beatch today, must have shouted at DH about 4 times for no reason. All he was doing was asking my advice about the business and I told him I didn't give a shit, and stop talking to me about it. Then I shouted about a light bulb, and a couple of other times I can't even remember what about!! Sodding hormones are everywhere!!! Such a cow :(

Sorry if I've asked before but do you know when you ov'd or have you just been going with the flow? Your LP is usually the same every month so you might have in theory have tested too early.

According to FF I was due to OV 15th November, but if pink and brown on Sunday/Monday is implantation, would have OV'd a week later. Didn't do any OPK's so not 100% if and when I did OV.
At the moment, I've just been going with the flow! But if BFN, I have my pee sticks ready!!

iwish i feel ok, abit more tired and usual and feel icky around tea time, but nowt too bad. i am feeling very fat though, fatter than usual!

but i am finding for the forst tiem in my life that i dont fancy eating anything in the evenings. i am sat here, not had any tea and the only thing i could really eat is dairylea with cripsbreads

My guess is that you ov'd later. How long after implantation does a pg test usually pick up hcg?

I can't wait to get SWI, I'm so impatient and want to be pg now!!

Oooh I'm glad you are getting all the lovely pg symptoms Liz, even if some of them make you feel awful. I tell my DP I'll take any symptoms as long as I can be pg lol Xmas Smile
Just wait - a few more weeks and you will be scoffing everything Xmas Smile

Morning all, I just got a BIG FAT POSITIVE BABY!!!!!!!
So excited, was shaking like a goodun. Still am as I write this. Ran downstairs to DH and we did another one, same, clear positive on a internet cheapy!!!!
Can't believe it!!! Due 16th August if everything goes OK. Pink and brown on Sunday/Monday I assume was implantation. Can't stop smiling!!! Grin
