Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Sad for you iwish but like you say at least you can get on and look to next month.

fingers corssed for youSmile

Iwish · 04/12/2010 13:19

Thanks Liz hopefully we will be lucky and get pregnant just before Christmas. Ive already been looking at my calendar (mrs impatient)and based on an average of my cycles af would be due new years eve. What a nice new years gift if I were pregnant. Grin. I'll b keeping everything crossed apart from my legs of course lol.
How are you feeling?

lizandlulu · 04/12/2010 13:59

i am starting to feel more tired, i was just sat on the sofa with dd and could have just closed my eyes and had a kip, but i was like that before anyway! dd has started to get up at 6.30 just to open her advent calendarXmas Angry

KLou111 · 04/12/2010 15:20

Hi ladies.

So sorry the evil witch got you Iwish, flaming AF!!

Nothing to report here. Did test this morning, still BFN and still no AF. All confusing, just want to get on either way, am sick of waiting!!

Out tonight to some friends, had to tell her not to get any wine for me as taking antibiotics for an ear infection, seemed to work!! Very hard lying to our nearest and dearest :(

Iwish · 04/12/2010 21:16

Hi Liz. Tired oooh your first symptom?! Can't believe your DD had you up at 6:30, bless :)

Hi Lou I'm still keeping everything crossed for you, hope you get your bfp soon. It is hard lying to them, you just want to share it with your friends but fingers crossed you won't have to for much longer :)

We have just put our Christmas tree up, my dp is like a child lol. Brought a little tear to my eye - hoping this time next year we will have our own little DD or DS to share Christmas with.

Oooh how do you do the face with the hat on?

lizandlulu · 04/12/2010 21:23

put f at the start, so fgrin for Xmas Grin

if my dd is up that early tomorrow dh has said he will get up with her. she is a total mummys girl and will wail for me to be with her, but i told him to just put his foot down, take her into the living room and get her breakfast as if its the most natural thing in the worldSmile i will let yoo knpw if he pulls it off!

Iwish · 04/12/2010 21:43

Lol yeh let me know if he does fGrin. At least you will get a bit longer in bed, you will need the rest.

Sometimes men need to learn how to zip it - got up to the loo this morning and my bloody dp as soon as I got back into bed said 'are the painters in yet?' as it happened yes af arrived and I was quite gutted. He said he just knew by the look on my face and I was ready for a nice big cry after that lol!

lizandlulu · 04/12/2010 21:45

bout as sensitive as mine then!

KLou111 · 05/12/2010 15:32

You do need to take it easy now Lizand keeping your bun cooking well :)

Still no AF here, will test again Tuesday if not here cos that will be 35 days and that's been my longest cycle so far.

Went to friends last night, there was 6 of us (3 couples) and one of the girls said to me quietly (after I had told a very convincing story about my 'ear infection') 'So when's the baby coming?' I had to say, 'ugh, don't bloody say that! Bloody hope not.'
Felt like total shit, but DH said it's cos I wasn't drinking, it's probably the first thing people think of.
It's really hard trying this time of year isn't it as you do look odd if you don't drink at least 1. I haven't had alcohol or caffeine for a month, and that's the way it will stay unless AF turns up, then will have a pint of tea :) but hoping it doesn't come to that!

lizandlulu · 05/12/2010 20:08

klou i wont drink alcohol but do have tea and coffee. dh and i are going to a awards night on the 18th which is going to turn into apub crawl round a freezing skegnessSad not looking forard to it one bit

MadKatz · 06/12/2010 07:30

Morning Ladies,

Still no AF but very crampy. Due tomorrow but really hoping it doesnt happen Hmm

KLou111 · 06/12/2010 08:48

Finger crossed madkatz

I'm totally confused (no change there then!)

Just before bed went to the loo and there was very light pink when I wiped, gutted. But nothing this morning. Not sure WTH my body is doing this month!!

MadKatz · 06/12/2010 09:07

HI Lou I know what you mean. I never used to get cramps or anything apart from feeling really down the day before AF came but last cycle I had real cramps so this could be either...obviously I would much prefer not to see AF!
Your pink could be anything - I've been reading up on the net and some women have occasional bleeds all through pregnancy. That would drive me mad but not a lotyou can do I suppose.
When are you testing?

x

KLou111 · 06/12/2010 09:08

Was going to test again tomorrow if AF not here x

MadKatz · 06/12/2010 10:05

Will be thinking of you.
God I'm cramping really bad this morning. Could do with going home and curling up with a hot water bottle but seems petty taking a sick day for this. What makes it worse is I am the only woman in an office of 7 men - try explaining to them what's wrong!! Blush

lizandlulu · 06/12/2010 10:27

madkatz just go home with 'womens problems' Grin i work will all men too and this covers a whole load of things!

thinking of you both x

KLou111 · 06/12/2010 18:39

Well, been a little brown on wiping today so not sure if may be spotting and OV'd late or AF on it's way. Normally when AF comes though, it is a lot heavier and on a pad straight away, not just there when wiping.
Still got cramps, has been going on for weeks now.

Had a cheeky tea today, swore I wouldn't, but when to see DH grandparents and would've been rude not to. One can't hurt!

KLou111 · 06/12/2010 18:42

*went to see

lizandlulu · 06/12/2010 22:16

i am drinking tea as we speakGrin i couldnt function without my cuppas. especially good when you have a brand new box of shortbread to dip in!

KLou111 · 06/12/2010 22:21

ooooooo shortbread now you're talking mmmmmmmmmmm

We got given mince pies today to go with it Xmas Smile 1st one of Christmas

lizandlulu · 06/12/2010 22:26

bleugh i hate mince pies, couldnt force one down if it killed meXmas Grin

let us know how your bodily functions are as soon as there are developments

KLou111 · 07/12/2010 08:50

Just tried to test and test is duff!! Going home today, so will try tomorrow as that was my last one I brought with me. Gutted :(

MadKatz · 07/12/2010 09:37

Well still no AF so tested this morning - BFN - probably too early. Still cramping though
Finders crossed this time!

MadKatz · 07/12/2010 10:00

Just out of interest - has anyone else had dizzy spells as an early pregnancy sign? Since yesterday lunch time if I don't stand up or sit down fairly slowly I feel quite dizzy. I don't normally get this with AF

lizandlulu · 07/12/2010 10:12

madkatz i am reading a book called 'the best friends guide to pregnancy' and dizziness is a symptom in there, so looking goodXmas Smile

klou fingers crossed for you too.
