August - first month of TTC? Join me!

Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

but i doooooo dh is out and i am VERY tempted to get him to nip to the 24hour pharmacy and get another test!

If it makes you feel better to POAS then go for it but it will still say your pregnant :) you need to relax and think about the little bean in your belly lol. Get dh to bring you choccies and put your feet up and ignore the little bit of doubt :)

good morning everyone. are you testing today klou? let us know the outcome asap! hows the snow in everyones area? i am in nottinghamshire, in a valley and never usually get more than a dusting, but there is about a foot outside its really powdery and dry. it went over dd's boots yesterday as all the schools are closed presume hey will be today too as had slightly more overnight

Well, I am the same as Iwish still no AF :), and still BFN :(. Driving me nuts now cos I don't know when I OV'd or if I OV'd now!

Hi Lou still no af for me either so I'm now on cd31.
My longest cycle has been 27! Have you had your usual af symptoms? You may have ov'd late :)

well i went and got one of them tests with conception indicator and it was up 2-3 weeks. it put my mind to rest that yes i am actually pg, now just frustrated that i dont kow how far

Hi Liz don't worry about how far you are for now, just concentrate on the little baby :) do you know when you ov'd?

I'm getting frustrated now, wish my damn af would show up so I can get onto planning for next time!!

Well glad your mind now at ease Liz now you can relax and enjoy your bean (and the last of being slim lol!!)

Iwish don't wish for AF, wish for a BFP!

No AF here still, am going to test again Saturday if not here. Not had any AF symptoms, just been having a dull light crampy feeling in tummy with the occasional twinge on the right hand side for the last week or so. Also very light headed when stand up.

Hubby just asked if AF here yet, and when I said no he came out in a huge grin and said 'oooooo' then following it with 'Is it time to start shitting it now' lol!!

Made me laugh, as I suppose it is a huge thing really! But just want it so badly now x

your symptoms sound very promising, just hope your body chucks out the hormones you need!

Lou your symptoms do sound promising :) fingers crossed for you. Bless your dh, Sounds like he's getting a little excited.
I have absolutely 0 faith that I will get a bfp. I had ordered some opks, ultra early pg tests and a basal thermometer which came this morning. So I thought I'd try one with them being ultra sensitive and bfn!! They cant be wrong :(. Not happy today at all. Sorry girls I just needed a rant. Just keep thinking I'll never be a mum :( :(

Oh Iwish keeping fingers crossed for you. I've got 10miu tests (ultra early) but they are still neg, but just hoping OV'd late. Maybe the same for you :)

iwish dont lose hope. keep thinking positive. but i do remember what i was ttc dd, it took 6 months and when i got my af in the 5th month, i had to go home from work cause i just couldnt hold the tears back. i remember just laying on the living room floor (on a big pillow cause it was comfy) and watching old sex and the citys feeling so sorry for myself. it was horrible not knowing if something was wrong.

have you printed a chart off the internet?

Thanks Lou I really hope so and I hope so for you too. Sorry for putting a downer on the conversation but I just feel like I want to cry, stupid hormones!
Thanks Liz, I do try to tell myself not to lose hope and I know there are people who have tried for far longer than I have but I'm clearly not listening to myself lol. Like you said its awful not knowing if there's something wrong or if it's just not our time yet.
A chart is emailed to me with the thermometer so I'll be trying it out. Ive also signed up to fertiliy friend so I can record it on there too.

Iwish not sure how long you have been trying but isn't 6 -12 months average so don't feel as if all hope has gone

I'm in 2 week wait, but not hopeful as I've been ill

Hi toomany this is our 4th month, I know not too long but I think this silly cycle (now on cd31 of a usually 25-27 day cycle with only bfn) is just making me feel bad because I don't know what's going on :(
How long have u been trying? When is your af due?

This is our 6 month of trying for #1. I don't feel any different, would love a BFP but think it will just be AF in the near future

Hi madkatz. You aren't out yet :). I think most people don't feel any different in early pg, think symptoms kick in about 6 weeks.

How is everyone else? Anything to report?
Cd32 here. Nothing to report. Still no af.

talking about symptoms, you hear of women who just 'know' they are pg but i am def not one of them. IF i am 7 weeks, and symptoms kick in around now, i have got no sickness and only abit more tired than usual. certainaly nothing thats knocking me off my feet. YET! but may have spoke too soon

lol. I'm not testing yet. FF says AF due on Tuesday next week so am just waiting. Will probably next late next week if no AF shows. Feeling very crampy tonight though, could be either.
