August - first month of TTC? Join me!

Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Am going to test tomorrow and every morning from now on, cos maybe early, so keeping positive x

where is your cycle are you klou?

Due on tomorrow if 28 day cycle. My 1st cycle was 35 days, then last was 28, so may be longer this month?? We've carried on SWI anyway, just every 3 days instead of 2, so if I did OV late, should still be some swimmers waiting!

Will test again tomorrow, as still feel strange, not AF strange, just strange.

exactly the same as me then. i tested negative on that digital test when i tested on day 31, which was about my usual length. then tested pos a week later. keep the faith

Hi guys. Can I join the conversation? Just butting in for a bit of a sulk. How long have you all been ttc? I'm on cycle #4 and I'm sure af is going to show it's ugly face very soon :(. My last cycles have been 27, 25 and 26 so I was guessing this one would be the same but now cd28 no af and BFN this afternoon!

I came off the pill after 13 years on 25th August so still relatively early, but am very impatient!!
We can sulk together, I tested this morning BFN, but still thinking positive

hiya iwish i was 5 cycles ttc and just got a bfp on friday. just when you think your bodys getting into a routine, it goes tits up keep shagging on!

Hi Lou. I was on it for 10 years and like yourself I'm very impatient too, I want my bfp yesterday lol. Sorry you got bfn too, I need a bit of your positivity, ok if I take a little hehe?
Congrats Liz I bet you were do happy seeing the bfp! I've never had the pleasure yet, we are ttc #1.

So were you guys using opks or temping or just lots of shagging and crossing of fingers? You seem like a lovely lot, very welcoming :)

Lots of shagging here! TTC#1 too. Have bought OPKs for next month if nothing happens. It seemed to work just doing that for Liz lol!!

Think that's what I'm going to try too. Found some cheapies on the Internet and you get a thermometer with them and early pg tests. Didn't fancy paying high prices at supermarkets.
Think we are going to be on a Shagging mission this time, tried the whole relaxed malarkey and got nowhere lol. When's your af due? :)

i attempted the temps thing, but gave up whe i went on hol and didnt know where i was, also i only just bought the opk tests so that was a waste of a fiver! but if any of you lot on here want them i will send them to you if oyu want?

Due today Iwish but the dreaded witch (AF)not got me yet.

Awww Liz you are so sweet! I know what you mean though, I have found myself checking on here quite a lot too see how everyone is doing. :). Bet you are still giddy about your bfp, happy 8 months ahead x

to be honest iwish it still doesnt feel real. i went to the docs today for it to be confirmed, i expected him to do a test and cofirm it, but all he did was ask history questions and put me on the list for the midwife to be in touch.

scan will be about 5 weeks he said. but i still dont know if i am 1 week pregnant or 7! the doc said to take it from the forst day of my last period, which would make me 7 weeks, but when i did a test last sat and it was neg, does thatn mean i am just over 1 week?? arrggghhhh, almost as stressful as ttc!

i have told the in laws tonight and mil was questioning me like she was doubting me. as if cause the doctor hadnt done a test was i sure? 3 tests cant be wrong though can they?

Yeh I think the day that you date Is from your last period so if you have a 4 week cycle you would have conceived on day 14 for example but because they don't know for certain they just use the first day of your cycle. I think when you go for your scan they can tell better. It's all very strange.
No 3 tests can't be wrong, one little line makes one BIG positive!! Don't doubt yourself hun. :)
