Hello Ladies.....

Anyone else in the same Boat??

CD16 for me, OV'd (as far as I can tell) on CD14. Had the whole EWCM thing but am so obsessed with this TTC thing that I am (for my sins) using the CBFM and trying to get my head round temping - its like a full time job ATM.

So I'd say I am officially on the 2WW.....

Didn't particularly enjoy the last 2WW as it was my first month TTC so was totally convinced I was PG the day after I OV'd - silly cow - I had fabricated every symptom you could think of and was truly suffering - in my head!

So this time round I am determined to try and take it easy, hence the reason I am on a cirtual Cruise.

Would love to meet the other passengers and share 2WW stories, worries and joys. If you fancy it come aboard.....

For me we thought we where expecting after my period went AWOL then when we got the BFN just made us realise how much we both really wanted it and all of the we want to move 1st and its not a good time in my career stuff got shelved and now going for it!!

Lots of bedroom is now being enjoyed but after I totally missed the last one I dont know if I will even ovulate or anything? So see how it goes and with DH have decided that if AF doesnt come before September 14th will be testing day so one day I may be able to add some stats.

Good luck all Smile

StormBird · 18/08/2010 21:06

Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple of days, work completely mad - this is the first time I have made it my desk since Tuesday!
Stormbird - Hope you enjoyed your smiley face day!!!

I want a smiley face day! I'm also using CB digital so holding out for my smiley face and SWI lots as well 'just in case' Grin
. We've been married 4 years now and never thought we would want children - but my biological clock started ticking about 6 months ago and now I can't think of anything else I've ever wanted more than a sticky BFP! It took hubby a little while to think things through because I think I'd put him in the mindset of no children but he thought long and hard and it's what he wants too. Hurry up BFP! Grin

curiouselle · 19/08/2010 20:53

Oh dear - like I said even though the chances are small this month - I am symptom spotting again. Blatantly there is not much and my boobs are probably sore from me pressing them all the time! I went to see my friend with an 18month old today and said 'awww' so many times she probably thought I was weird!
WHY didn't somebody tell me I'd get this crazy! Blush
I think it's a good idea I haven't started on this smiley face day thing, it sounds like an obsession waiting to happen?! Wink

crazydayz · 20/08/2010 12:42

Tis a fun obsession the smiley face thing though Grin and I have a smiley face day today so grabbed hubby before work this morning - I think he thought it was christmas!!

I wish somebody had told me that I'd get this crazy too Curiouselle suddenly every baby is cute and everybody I know is pregnant!

cowboylover · 20/08/2010 20:20

Babies and cute baby stuff and shops seam to keep sprining from EVERYWHERE!

I even stopped salivating over a handbag so good they had it in a glass case in John Lewis last weekend to look at a Moses Basket! I didnt even know what it was until my Mum told me but all I knew was I wanted it in my lounge and it doesnt even coordinate Smile

crazydayz · 21/08/2010 17:22

Well the 2WW begins again! I have promised myself to do less random symptom spotting this month!Wink

curiouselle · 23/08/2010 12:56

Expecting AF in 2 days, but still hoping, even though it is soooo unlikely, aghhhhh!

curiouselle · 23/08/2010 21:14

I have pre-AF grumpiness and spots, so that ship has sailed. At least I know not to waste a pregnancy test, here's to next time Sad. Strange how even though we are not trying trying I am still sad, maybe it's time to start trying trying!

raspberrytipple · 24/08/2010 08:05

Morning all, hopping back on today, I am supposedly now on the two week wait according to about 7 different ovulation calculators although I really have no idea, got ewcm from about Monday last week then it went away while I had thrush then came back on sunday so BD'd yesterday and Sunday but not sure that will be enough!! Now on cycle day 16 - what do you reckon chances are? I'm going to use sticks next month as I seem to be rubbish at picking up signals!!!
Cowboy, it's lovely when you both realise it's what you want, me an dp realised on holiday in June when we started chatting about having a lo and ended up discussing it for over an hour!
Crazy-I'll be with you symptom spotting, I can't help myself I've turned into a mad woman!!
Curosell fingers crossed for you and storm IRS happy smiley facing!!

raspberrytipple · 24/08/2010 08:08

Omg my I phone has done really funny things to my message, damn predictive text. Hadn't seen how long ago your smiley face was storm bird!! Any news?
Curiouselle-apologies for the crap spelling!!!

StormBird · 24/08/2010 14:21

Hi everyone,

I've been unable to post as DP has broken my laptop Angry silly sod.

Hope you are all doing well. As far as I can tell I think I am about CD18/19 of a 28 day cycle and I don't think I really have any symptoms.

I have been poorly all weekend with severe migrains - they usually last about 4hours and I'll get them 2 or 3 times a year but I had 4 in 3 days over the weekend. Went to the docs but she just prescribed strong painkillers and anti sickness medication and told me to journal what I ate.
I very much doubt this is a symptom - I don't seem to have even a glimmer of a symptom to be honest. Hey Ho!!!

Didn't get much BDing time in the end as me and DP kept falling out last week LOL.

I'm seriously fed up of PG women - how selfish is that!! Can't even watch corrie cos everyone is up the duff and it puts me in a really bad mood. Shock

Not holding out much hope for me this cycle. How is everyone else doing??

No symptoms yet, not even imaginary ones but only on about CD16! I'm away with work next week though so either AF will arrive while I'm away or will be testing as soon as I get home! Maybe I should take a test with me just in case Confused!
Curiouselle - Hope the grumpiness and spots turn out to be a BFP and not AF!
Rasberry & Stormbird lovely to have you back ladies and fingers crossed.
Cowboy have you found anymore cute stuff to salivate over? Grin

raspberrytipple · 24/08/2010 17:39

awww no sorry to hear that Stormbird. I get migraines a few times a year too and they are awful, takes me a day or two just to recover, horrible, horrible, horrible. Hope you feel better soon.

Crazy, my sensible head says don't take a test but I know that I would in the same situation! I am absolutely determined not to test until the very, very latest day that my period my have come on, I usually have a cycle of 28-30 days but then I do have a spare test in my draw so might be tempted!!! I shall try to have some willpower.... probably fail miserably though.

I met with my friend today who is 5 months pregnant and tried to convince her to go to the baby show with me in October. She wasn't convinced, think shes chosen all her stuff now but I still want to go even if I'm not pregnant and if I drag her along with me I'll look like I have an excuse..... she may be a bit too big by that point though! I nearly asked DP if I could go into mothercare on the weekend but I knew he wouldnt approve :-( but I just love looking at all the teeny tiny things! Grin I am a very mad woman

crazydayz · 25/08/2010 12:44

Oooh when and where is the baby show (shouts excitedly)? Grin

I think I'll have to take a test with me unless anyone can tell me what can I please have a pregnancy test is in Greek?!?

raspberrytipple · 25/08/2010 19:06

Crazy: the October one is at Earls court....

curiouselle · 26/08/2010 09:00

Thank you for all the positive thinking people! But AF arrived, I have decided none of this half-hearted 'just not using protection rubbish' we are actually trying trying now! I will be busy BD'ing this month, legs in the air girls!

Nice to see everyone back, it went quiet for a while! Smile

StormBird · 26/08/2010 13:37

Awww Sorry AF got you Curiouselle

Hi everyone else, hope you are all ok.

Seems the stats have gone a bit out of the window. Where is everyone else in their cycle??

Talking of the baby show - I was meant to be going there this year as I would've been expecting in November! sad

Anyway......I've made a decision to take some Couselling - not becuase I think I'm going mad but just because I feel like now is probably the right time to go and talk to someone impartial about everything that went on back in May with our first PG. I've managed to get 5 sessions for free through work so should start them in a week or 2. Hopefully it will help not only with the grieving process but I've got a feeling all these Migrains are connected to the stress of what we've been through, maybe they will ease up when I get it all into perspective.

My Stats:

StormBird TTC#1 Cycle#3 CD21

(7 days to go til AF is due for me - no symptoms)

Hi stormbird, I wasn't around in May but guessing that you had a MC so counselling sounds like a good idea, hope you get on ok and that it also helps with the migraines, stress can be a massive contributing factor.

As Ive said before I don't think I'll have a BFP this month and am going away to do a bike of mountain biking this weekend if the rain EVER goes away. Might have a drink or two but have bought fosters, rose wine but lemonade to go with it! I told myself I wouldn't keep turning things down until I got a BFP but I'm already thinking about symptom spotting - I have a funny feeling in my tummy which is hard to explain, probably get it all the time usually but because I am on 2ww I've decided it is definitely because I must be PG!! Although, I'm not even sure if I ovulated this month. Honestly, I really am losing the plot!!!

StormBird · 27/08/2010 08:29

Raspberrytipple Thanks hun, unfortunately it wasnt an MC, had to have a Termination at 15 wks due to Annencaphalic PG. Explained all on an earlier post - shan;t bore everyone with my story again though Smile
I'm with you on the 'losing the plot' front, but am trying so hard not to symptom spot so I have decided there are no PG symptoms anymore, they do not exist LOL.

Have a good day everyone.

Well that sounds awful, just read my post back - its not UNFORTUNATE that it wasn't an MC. Sorry for the misuse of the word Unfortunately. Shock

Sorry

OP posts:
raspberrytipple · 27/08/2010 09:08

Oh gosh that's awful stormbird, so sorry you had to go through all that, I'm sure counselling would be a good thing to do. Don't worry about 'unfortunately' we know what you mean! x

curiouselle · 27/08/2010 13:43

excellent idea stormbird, I am a counsellor myself and sometimes the space to talk through the 'grief' and allow yourself new dreams can be what you need to set yourself on track!

So stats - I am a little lost but I think..

Ohh im going to a baby show next weekend with my bessie mate whos due in 9 weeks and I cant wait! Totally my idea but sure she will love it when we are there. I told DH about it and he said "how the hell do you show babies?" I think he was expecting a mini padgent and thats why he was so suprised I wanted to go! I am sure I will have plenty of things I want then Smile

I am not sure if there will even be a wait this month as had EWCM for the first time on Tuesday so does that mean then I ovulated or did the next day? Didnt get to see my DH till Thursday so does that mean we missed our chance?
