Thought it would be handy to start a thread!!!

You should all get an ID number for parcels, so please quote it in your thanks (you can name change ) to make life easier for people checking their parcels have been received!

for Christmas Spirit!

For once I am speechless...

I have just received your parcel and I am stunned by your generosity.

DS's eyes are out on sticks.

I am in bed with pneumonia, and feeling very sorry for myself as I am no longer in "charge" of Christmas.

I am truly touched that anyone, would consider me worthy of Secret Santa, everything has now been put back in the bag and under the tree until Christmas Day. Much to DS's disgust.

I wish you and your family a Happy a Holy and above all Peaceful Christmas.

With love

LGJ

Ooh yay - you told me who you were !! Flameboy will get just as much enjoyment from them believe me - it is only because DH is being arsey and "not my boy"ish about it that I'm not giving him one of his own

PoinsettiasScareMe · 22/12/2008 08:55

Ooh yay Brie

psychohohohoho · 22/12/2008 08:59

don't think this is secret Santa either

But DutchOma - thank you so much, I'm literally on my way out the door to London for the day, but will post later.

MotherChristmas2OliverJames · 22/12/2008 10:25

My parcel arrived today, i can't find a reference number anywhere on it, i have even looked under the stickers.

Two lovely wrapped up christmas presents arrived, i stuck them under the tree.

And then i noticed something and only closer inspection (much to my excitement) i notice a funnel sticking slightly through the wrapping so we had to unwrap it

it was a talking edward from the Thomas the tank talking engines range.

Thank you so much, Thomas the tank is DSs favourite, as soon as we saw the funnel i gave it to him and he started ripping the wrapping and as soon as he saw the face he started boucing around lol.

Thank you so much.

Merry Christmas

With love and thanks

I have tried so many times to post on this thread...and for some reason the thread won't accept my posts...so here I try again!

ref 2309

This was my second Secret Santa parcel...and the contents were just amazing...pj's for both the girls from m&s which are absolutely gorgeous and the most lovely wicker basket containing a lovely mug, tea bags and biscuits for me!

I was so shocked to receive such a lovely thoughtful parcel and so incredibly generous.

A huge THANK YOU to whoever sent it...I wish I knew who you are so I could thank you personally and a huge THANK YOU to whoever nominated me. xxx

Let's try again and see if it does it in bold this time!

whispywhisp · 22/12/2008 10:49

I give up! Let's just hope the generous MNr sees the post!

...bold works sometimes, not other times....grrrrrr

MistleSQUONKandWine · 22/12/2008 11:03

Thank you to the lovely MNer who sent me a party box of chocolates and chocolate stuff! There doesn't seem to be a reference, so I hope you know who you are.

It's gone under the tree for Meeeeeeeeeeee on Christmas morning

PoinsettiasScareMe · 22/12/2008 11:08

I love this all.

Yay for more whispy bits! (well, yay for everyone )

whispywhisp · 22/12/2008 11:35

I just can't work out why I've been nominated twice this year....to be nominated once is just amazing but twice?!

ChiefElf · 22/12/2008 11:50

It isn't a gift per nomination, that isn't how it works.

If anyone has any queries, please feel free to email me (my address is posted around here quite a bit ) as I doubt I will be around to answer them on the thread.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

CliffRichardSucksEggsInHell · 22/12/2008 13:40

Any news on parcels sent but not received yet?

whispywhisp · 22/12/2008 14:48

I don't believe this...I've just been out and have come home to a note put thru my door from Royal Mail asking that I go to the Sorting Office to pick up a parcel addressed to the 'Mumsnetter of the House'. This will be my third package...... Unbelievable. I'm just letting the kids finish watching a DVD then I will go down and pick it up.

WOweeeeeeeeee! Psychic girl! I have just arrived home to find the vouchers in the post. Thankyou soooooo very much. Again! Morrisons is not only my local store, it is my FAVOURITE store and I am going to do my xmas shop there tomorrow morning before going away. So your timing is also brilliant.

Actually, I went there on way home just now to get the shop done (ds is at CM til half four) but it was so packed packed I packed with queues of cars trying to find spaces I gave up and drove out again. Huzzah!

The vouchers will help me tremendously. Especially as I had my debit card stolen on Friday and am having to source cash til new card arrives after xmas!

I really am so touched and you know what? I am going to buy myself something special to toast you with. Kindness beyond the call of duty. You have made my day.

I think I sent you a thankyou card (don 't know if I got the address right though)

Big hugs from ds and myself and a very very happy christmas to you and your family.

Mamazontopofsanta · 22/12/2008 19:09

aww the thnk you thread is what i have missed most about not being able to MN for a while.

My gifts have been wrapped and put under the tree already. i keep seeing them and smiling.

RumbleMe · 22/12/2008 19:21

Hello BrieVinDeAlkaSeltzer (Ref 1201)

I'm so glad the parcel arrived on time!
My own ds is a quite bit younger than yours, so wasn't sure about what would be appropriate...although I figured everyone would at least enjoy the chocolates!

I also wish you and your family a Happy and Peaceful Christmas, and all the very best for the New Year
Hope you're feeling better soon and are still able to enjoy the day, even if you're no longer "in charge" of it.

PS Let me know if there's anything that needs translating...don't want you eating the bath salts!!!!
