Thank you so so much for our parcels, I wasn't expecting any gifts as I'd asked for help with basics rather than luxuries so ds1 was thrilled to be able to write a letter to Santa after all . I have wrapped their presents already because I know they're going to be beside themselves and the temptation to give them the gifts now was almost overwhelming

And thank you to the mumsnetter that sent the real tree for the presents to reside underneath, before the appeal I asked ds1 what he would most like for christmas and he said that a christmas tree was all he really wanted so you can imagine how happy he was to see it waiting on the doorstep!

ds1 & ds2 had great fun decorating the tree!

My parcel went today Small, but hopefully still appreciated

My postman was just at my door with another parcel for me. When I saw it addressed to the mumsnetter of the house I burst into tears! I think the postman must have thought I was slightly mad.

I love this thread and that someone sent a tree, that is fantastic.

an absolute pleasure. I've been in bed with flu the last few days so my DH sorted it out and posted it. It has cheered me up no end when he brings me the laptop in bed and I can read all the happy messages. I hope you and DH and DD's and DS have a wonderful Christmas. Like you I have two DD's and one DS (although another due in Feb!) so I imagine you will have a hectic Christmas and hope it is a very happy one. xxx

MoM, yes sorry. The 1605 earlier on this thread should be 1607, it was a typing error on my part when I sent the emails.

Yours is a parcel though, that one was vouchers so I knew we would be able to tell them apart
