Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

@FadedLaurels thanks so much for the reminder about the mystery guides - I've bought these in the past and they've been a big hit. I have decided to buy one for each of our adult children and pair it with a night away in a nice hotel in whichever city I select along with the offer to have DGC's for the weekend so they can avail themselves of a mini break. That, I think would make a perfect Christmas gift for them all.

@ApiratesaysYarrr Puzzle Post has a couple of advent calendars including one with a new clue each day about who is vandalising Christmas in town
They stock the Taskmaster one and do escape rooms in envelopes, so similar level of complexity

@Lobsterteapot the sho food flask has given me an excellent idea for 20yr old ds for Christmas - not sure I can run to the cost of sho even with the discount but there are alternatives so thank you!

I got one like this from eBay not this seller but exactly the same by the looks of it - I got it in the pink and then the yellow for my Sister which is actually more a cream colour I doubt they are the real deal with being so cheap but they come in the box and everything, also this one looks similar as well and a bit cheaper eta updated link
