Thanks so much to @Sideorderofchips for keeping things going. I can barely believe it's September and (for me at least!) that only means one thing - Christmas can start!!!!

Hope you've all had a great year and have missed you all. Last couple of years I've had various health things going on so have been a bit distant from the threads. Not quite there yet but feeling stronger than this time last year and I can't wait until I see more festive items in the shops! I've already bought my advent calendar - I've got the taskmaster one (which I'm quite excited about!).

I'll post various links etc in the next thread first post but essentailly you guys know the drill - share and be nice or leave.

Thanks for these, recently started walking a lot more and was wondering about getting something a bit more hardy than normal trainers. Received them this morning and they’re a perfect fit and feel very comfortable.

Do these fit over Yankee candles? My DD has asked for a YK for her room but I have a strict no flame upstairs rule. This could be perfect

Not really Christmassy but I went in to Primark earlier today and they have got some lovely thermal tops and bottoms in.

I bought a pair of the wide leg trousers for £8 (they are lovely and soft) and a long sleeve stop for £5. They also had leggings for £5. They might make a nice present for anyone who really feels the cold.

Monsoon have got a sale on and there are some lovely bargains in the kids accessories bit. No use for me but I enjoyed looking!!!

For anyone who missed out on the bargain slippers from Goodwin Smith upthread, I received mine yesterday and the actual brand of the slippers is Redfoot. If you go onto the Redfoot website, there seems to be plenty of styles available and all at £5

Apparently some Sainsbury's stores are getting rid of their toy stock. Popped in today and there were a few bits of lego that have gone into my present cupboard. DD started reception this week and we already have two birthday party invitations. I got the Spidey (£4.50 was £9) and Bluey set (£4.50 was £18).

Got these brilliant lamps for £10 each reduced in JL. They also had lots of boxed games between £7.50-£20 and alcohol crackers for £2.50. The latter have tonic that needs using now but it would be possible to swap the tins out and still use the crackers at Xmas.

Sorry Moon, I had another look today and no Minecraft on the stand. Our local HB is pretty good in terms of the stock it gets in though so I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks ever so for the JL tip. Just bought a 4 pack of classic cars for £4.50 and a truck/tractor projector torch for the same! Then had a £5 off appear in "my rewards" which cleared the bastard high delivery charge, so 2 things done for littlest DS stocking for £8.85!

Also big thanks to whoever advised to check for Boden code. Had the £25 hidden amongst junk emails and with the 15% off full price items, got DDs winter school coat for £37!

@MamaK19 I know this is no help for this year but if she can wait until next year - I got the Alaskan electric blanket for £50 in boots in February this year for my grandma down from £130. It’s £80 now in boots but I would like one for myself so I’m keeping an eye on the price too!

I will say that often they say their products should be used within a month, but the stuff that isn't tea is basically sugar so doesn't really go off - but just to be conscious if you're planning for Xmas.
