The dreaded Secret Santa - £10 limit!

Very small team - only 4 of us and everyone else loves it so it starts getting awkward if I rule myself out to be honest (although I’d much rather rule myself out 🤣)

This year I’ve drawn the youngest in the team who I rarely work with so don’t know as well as the others - 25, very pink and girly, very religious, doesn’t drink, likes Disney. Quite opposite to me 🤣

Strict £10 limit - and vouchers are not allowed.

Anyone better at this than me? 🤣

Likes Disney? Stitch lego brickheadz - £9.99?

caramac04 · 02/12/2025 14:13

Boots £10 Tuesday. A Soap & Glory set.

teaandtoastwouldbenice · 02/12/2025 14:16

Compact mirror
mug/drinks bottle
photo frame
sweets/chocolates
phone charm or case
snow globe
lip balm or hand cream
trinket dish
coin purse
candle
tree decoration

£10 budget is getting increasingly difficult! I feel your secret Santa pain

Mizztikle · 02/12/2025 14:29

I usually ask someone close to them for ideas.

needapokerface · 02/12/2025 14:32

If you have a morrisons supermarket near you, they are doing disney bells mystery bag ornaments buy one get one free for £2 (I bought one at the weekend and they are good)

Go to Primark and get a nice little make up bag, buy a lip balm and put inside the bag

Spend the remainder on a little selection box.

Stompythedinosaur · 02/12/2025 14:33

I have our new 19yo student for secret santa this year, also for £10.

I got her a notebook with her name on it from Etsy for £6, a set of biros with positive messages on for £3.50 and a £1 bag of choc snowballs.

It's maybe a bit anonymous, but I hope not something you could be offended by as a gift.

BeenChangedForGood · 02/12/2025 15:53

Thanks all for the ideas ☺️

@teaandtoastwouldbenice - £10 budget is very difficult now I think - at least to get anything decent. We also have 2 of the 4 who pride themselves on getting the most they can for the £10 so it’s always a bag filled with stuff from the pound shop

Hot chocolate bombes. Look up cocoba

Untailored · 02/12/2025 16:12

Why not something to eat? A panettone or a super fancy chocolate log?

If she can’t eat it, someone in her family probably will so at least it’s something that’ll get used.

Lizchapman · 02/12/2025 16:47

Tbh I’d rather have one nice thing than ten bits of tat 😂

Maybeishouldcrochet · 02/12/2025 17:04

They call me the Grinch. So I got her a coal notebook!!! (Yes she will get a real present too but I couldn't resist).... Baa humbug

Cocktailsandcheese · 02/12/2025 17:09

Some novelty Grinch slippers? Or just play it safe and get chocolate!

angelfacecuti75 · 02/12/2025 17:21

Go to primark they usually have disney themed hairbrushes and handheld mirrors & stuff or go online on the Disney store, (are they even on the High St anymore?!) & buy her a notebook or a mug lol.

Cappie73 · 02/12/2025 17:30

Primark always has loads of Disney stuff

BeaLola · 02/12/2025 17:31

I feel yr pain - our limit is £5(!!!)

AutumnLeavesFallingFast · 02/12/2025 17:36

I was going to say some very girlie pink fluffy slippers, but primark disney stuff sounds like a better idea! I don't go to the shops, so had no idea about that option!

Starship74 · 02/12/2025 17:39

It's hard to go wrong with a box of chocolates or biscuits - lots in M&S at that price point

anotheruser124 · 02/12/2025 17:43

Boots have lots of gifts under £10, @BeaLolathey even have some £5 or less

Linenpickle · 02/12/2025 17:45

Looks at the boots £10 Tuesday offers.

MILLYmo0se · 02/12/2025 17:46

Primary Disney bits and include gift receipt so they can return if they don't like (and can be bothered!)

NimbleDreamer · 02/12/2025 17:49

Disney tat from Primark.
